Before and after complete hairline excision to repair prior transplants
This patient had significant scarring from prior poor grafting as can be shown in the frontal closeup. In order to fully repair this situation, he underwent a complete hairline excision, whereby the original nontransplanted hairline was advanced forward allowing for the removal of the scarred skin with prior transplants, resulting in a fine-line scar that will at some point be grafted to soften it. The removed grafts were dissected out from the scar tissue and planted into the old donor site scars.
