Reparative Before and After Photos
Before and after 300 FUE grafts to an old donor site scar repair.
Before and 5 months after complete hairline excision for repair of prior plugs.
This patient presented 30 years having had plug grafts placed too low and unaesthetically. Because of the volume of plug grafts and the scarring of the skin along the hairline, the decision was made to do a complete hairline excision, removing all of the plugs and the surrounding scarred skin, resulting in a much softer and higher hairline. Note that the plug graft hairs that were excised were dissected down then planted into the midscalp region but these hairs are just starting to regrow. Patient returned for grafting at 5 months to help conceal the scar and create better density.
Before and immediately after hairline lowering surgery performed as a reparative procedure to remove prior insufficiently-dense hairline transplants performed elsewhere
This 39 yo Black patient was disappointed with the results achieved from two procedures of prior transplants performed elsewhere. She underwent hairline lowering/forehead reduction surgery that allowed for the removal of the entire transplanted hairline with a resultant much better density and more natural appearance.
Before and after reparative procedure of 1850 FUE grafts to restore a more natural and fuller appearance. 55 year old patient had a prior hair transplant 15 years ago where large grafts were placed too perpendicular. With additional grafting, the hairline was made to look significantly more natural.
Before and one week after hairline lowering surgery to repair prior transplants.
This patient underwent hair grafting to lower her hairline, but due to insufficient density chose to undergo hairline lowering surgery that permitted her original hairline to be brought lower and allowed for the removal of her entire prior transplanted area. She is shown one week after surgery.
Before and after 2 reparative procedures to restore a more natural appearance to what was a subtle but noticeable unnatural appearance from prior less than ideal hair transplant. This was a two-stage procedure, the first removing and reducing in size 150 of the larger unaesthetic grafts with replanting into further back in the frontal region, followed 3 months later by an FUE hair transplant procedure of 450 one and two hair grafts. These grafts were placed in a more aesthetic direction and pattern to create the desired result.
