Body Hair Before and After Photos
There are two types of BHT (body hair transplants) performed by Dr. Epstein. The first is using hairs from the chest, beard, and or back to transplant into the scalp to create greater density. The second is to transplant scalp hairs into areas of the body such as the chest, pubic region, and or armpits to create greater density.

Before and after reparative hair transplant using primarily hairs from the beard- a total of 1700 grafts.
Before and 10 months after reparative procedure using over 2500 scalp, chest, and beard hairs to restore a much more natural appearance.
Before and after a total of 5200 FUE grafts from the scalp, back, chest, and beard over two procedures.
This patient sought the greatest amount of coverage. Due to somewhat limited scalp donor supply, approximately half of the 5200 grafts came from BHT, primarily the beard and back.

Before and after one procedure of 2,300 grafts to the chest. Before photo shows the marking out of the planned direction of hair growth, that can be appreciated on the after photo.
Before and after 1600 beard hairs to the scalp
This 29 year old patient had previously undergone a scalp to scalp FUE hair transplant procedure with further progression of hair loss. Because he had such nice beard hairs, the decision was made to do an all-BHT case, taking 1600 grafts from the beard (the majority single hairs) and transplanting to the scalp. He is shown one year later.
