Hello Roxy,
Jeff, I am thinking of coming in for round 2 to take care of the mid scalp. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier. Hope you are well and look forward to you thoughts.
I would also like you to extend my gratitude to your staff
Hello Dr. Epstein,
First and foremost, I would like to thank you for the procedure last Thursday. I would also like you to extend my gratitude to your staff, the girls made me feel great while I was there. Please let them know, specially Karen, that I will come by with some Costa Rican coffee for the to enjoy at work.
Seriously, I really appreciate the great job.
I have a couple of simple questions you might be able to help me with,
- When is it safe to start sleeping normally? Not that I am uncomfortable sitting down to sleep, but I miss lying down.
- Should I wear the Bandana or any other protection while sleeping?
- How many days after the procedure do I take off the stitches for the plugs?
Thank you very much, saludos desde costa Rica,
Thanks so much for your help and the great great work on me
Hello Dr. Epstein,
Thanks so much for the quick reply.
How come I always get the right answers from you and no one else tells me what is going on regarding hairloss stuff?
I will send you some photos soon. And I am likely to do the extra hairline refinement next year vs this year. Any excuse to get back to South Beach is fine by me.
I will try your advice about using Proscar every other day and see what happens. Hopefully that does the trick. I will keep you in the loop on my progress.
Thanks so much for your help and the great great work on me. Believe it or not, it changed my life. No more self consciousness about the plugs, etc..
I want to thank everyone for truly making my procedure on june 30
I want to thank everyone for truly making my procedure on june 30, 2009 an "enjoyable" experience. Flying 1500 miles, alone, brought uncertanly and concerns! I was quickly alleviated by any concern from the time I arrived until the time I left, I was treated outstanding. I wish everyone in the office a wonderful summer and look forward to a possible return trip next year.
Sincerely,
It was wonderful to see you, Dr. E, Linda, and the rest of the staff as well
My Angel Roxy
It was wonderful to see you, Dr. E, Linda, and the rest of the staff as well. I am absolutely amazed at how terrific you look, girl! You keep it up!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new procedure will greatly increase my regrowth factor. I am hoping that the new hairs don't fall out at all. That would be my miracle and dream come true I will continue to sing the praises of Dr. E. I firmly believe that some day I will wake up with the beautiful brows I have always dreamed of....for good. I have the phenomenal Dr. E and staff to thank for that, and there are no words to describe how grateful I am for all that you guys have done for me.
I love you, Roxy!! : ) Say hi to everyone for me. I'll be in touch and will send pics.
I appreciate everything you did for me today with my procedure
Jeffrey,
Just wanted to let u know I appreciate everything you did for me today with my procedure. It means a lot to me.
Thanks again for your time and support
Dr. Epstein,
I have attached a few photos that I just took myself and one normal photo from last weekend so that you could see how nicely the frontal area has filled in.
Any suggestions, advice, or direction would be appreciated and thanks again for your time and support.
Sincerely,
That’s GREAT customer service when you deliver
Hi Roxy!
How are you? Yes, it's been exactly 9 months today since my procedure. I am doing well.
Regarding the transplant, the hair has come in very nicely! ... Actually, much better results than Dr. E told me I could expect.
That's GREAT customer service when you deliver more than you promise! I'm really very pleased with the results!
Thanks again for everything!
Thanks so much for your expertise and talents
Hello Dr. Epstein,
Just a quick update for you.
- The graft removals that I can see you did above my temples seem to have healed up GREAT!
- Same for the new grafts and the fue sites as well...
- I've attached two pics of the sutures that are in the scar revision. At this stage in the past, I recall having a pretty big/wide scab back there. Now there is nothing but basically a fine line and the stitches. (You don't know how glad I am that I came to you right now!!!!!!)
Anyways, I believe you usually recommend stitches out after 10 days. Because it looks so great and also because you did the stitches under the skin, I wonder if I should consider removing the exterior stitches now or possibly in the next day or two?
Do you have any further opinion based on how things are looking now?
Again, Thanks so much for your expertise and talents!!!!!!
As you can see it’s about 95% healed
Hello Dr. Epstein,
I've attached two more pics as of today. As you can see it's about 95% healed.
I removed the stitches on Monday (approx 18 days after the procedure.)
I would say that the revision has left a scar no more than 1 to 2 mm wide!!!!!!
A GREAT SUCCESS!!! I am so happy right now.Of course you get most of the credit, but I thought I'd tell you what I did on my end.
First I used the Neosporin for approx the first 6 or 7 days.
I kept the wound as clean as possible. It never even really had much of a scab at all except for around the stitches themselves. I assume due to how you sutured it.
The other thing I did was make a great veggie and fruit juice smoothie everyday with carrots / cucumber / banana / apple / parsley / yogurt and what I think was the MOST important ingredient - 4 ounces of 100% aloe.
You mentioned that if everything went well we could do another procedure to tackle more of the scar in approx 4 months or so. Do you still think that would be the thing to do? I really am looking forward to whittling it ALL down to 1 to 2 mm total width!!! If you agree I will talk to Jon about setting something up in December.
THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
