I had a hair transplant many years ago. It left me with some pretty bad cobblestoning. Is it possible to fix this with a new transplant. How would this work?
If you have some old cobblestoning from a bad transplant, in some cases the cobblestoning itself will be cut out and sutured closed in that area and a new amount of good graft hair tissue will then be placed in the area. Sometimes you can just do grafting directly to the cobblestoning area but if the cobblestoning itself is rather disfiguring, it can be more advantageous to remove it and then do the transplanting.
