Procedure details: Before and seven months after 1,800 FUE grafts to the beard/goatee region. FUE can effectively be utilized to harvest grafts for facial hair transplants, allowing the patient if he wishes to shave his head in the future. Note that while the donor area was shaved down at the time of the procedure, the surrounding longer hair on top of the area shaved was sufficient for concealing the shaved area. At seven months after, there is excellent growth of the transplants, and the hairs that were once shaved in the donor area have been growing longer.
