The FHR hair assistants each have specialized roles. Some are graft dissectors, working under the microscope to cut every graft. Several are "sliver-ers", carefully dividing the donor strip into thin slivers one follicular unit wide, to assure the lowest percentage of hair transection. Some of the most experienced assistants meaning 8 or more years with Dr. Epstein are planters, intimately familiar with how Dr. Epstein distributes the one, two, and three hair grafts to achieve the most natural appearance. There are also specialized assistants at the FHR for eyebrow and beard transplants, delicate procedures in which Dr. Epstein specializes, as well as others that assist him with the FUE incisionless procedures all assuring patients the best results.
