I couldn't be more pleased with the results and would be more than happy to be a verbal reference for or meet with (if they are local and want to see the end product) any of your prospective clients.

I asked to talk to several patients before I made my decision. Really wanted to see one in person, but the only local evidently was a little secretive about his procedure. Thanks again.

Dear Dr. Epstein,

It's coming up on my one year anniversary since my procedure and I'm not wanted you recognize that by reaching out to you and thinking you for the beautiful work you did on my eyebrow, and to let you know that my life has improved so much because of your help. The procedure is a miracle, and every day I wake up and look in the mirror and remember that. I also remember how grateful I am that you could help me. You are an amazing doctor and artist. Your work is truly PRICELESS!

Thank you again so much

Sincerely

Kate Welsh

Dear Doctor Epstein,

Having arrived back in Manchester England yesterday morning following my 2000-graft hair transplant procedure at your Miami office on Friday 17th December 2004, I wanted to put on public record my sincere thanks to you and your staff for your hospitality before and during my visit.

Thanks to Roxy and Lena for their warmth and attention to detail in making my visit arrangements. Thanks to your whole team for their relaxed, courteous and friendly professionalism throughout the day of my surgery. Special thanks on the day to Cindy and Peggy for their superb nursing care, and to Carlos, Linda and Carey for their meticulous work on the procedure. I am deeply grateful to all who were involved in the surgery, all of whom helped to make a tough day pass really very pleasantly.

And thanks to you Dr E. Thank you for your personal attention to my questions prior to me making a decision on surgery. Thank you for being so approachable and sociable during my time with you. Thank you for the personal gift to my youngest son (he is so excited in anticipation of Christmas Day), and for your advice on sights to see in Miami. With your guidance I enjoyed a very pleasant weekend in your wonderful city ahead of my return to the UK.

Above all, I thank you for the look of wonderment on the faces of my wife and boys when I revealed my new hairline upon my return home. They are seeing a "new me", and already they sense the lifting of the weight that has been on my shoulders for nearly 20 years in the aftermath of earlier, less successful hair transplant surgery in the UK. I shall of course be sending you photos of the finished result in the New Year, and I stand willing and ready to be your primary point of reference for other prospective patients in the UK should you wish to refer anyone to me for reassurance or testimonial.

Wishing you all a very happy holiday, and continued good health and success in the coming year.

Yours in gratitude and friendship,

Neil N

Hey Dr.

Its been a long time since we contacted you. My twin brother and I came in april of 2001 and had procedure done. Which turned out really really good. we might make another appointment next year sometime. We just wanted to touch basis and thank you for the good job you did. You made our lives better.

later,

Andy and Randy

p.s. what are your rates now so we can start saving.
Please email me the information and not send
it ground mail. We had changed addresses.

Thanks Dr. E

It is looking wonderful already. No swelling, and healing nicely. Scabs are almost gone, although some of the scabs had hair, I believe that is ormal, Right hair will grow again from the graft

Thanks for the wonderful work you and your team have performed. The small incisions, nice healing and total overall look are what distiguish great doctors from mediocre ones.

Best regards

Najib

Roxy

Im fine my hair looks great and there's nobody who can tell and noboday has even got close to guessing - the difference is amazing I have to say when I walked out of the office to go back to England I thought I had made a mistake I went into work and had to use lots of hairspray and use lots of that powder you gave me ( cant remember the name now ) on the back of my head to cover the suture marks - each day I had to spend 10 mins working hard to cover up the signs but I did a good job of it - it took six weeks after my four week holiday for the effects of the hair trimming to grow out but today it is not noticeable at all and I often laugh to myself about how much I worried and how nobody noticed - or even got close to noticing !!! And the hair on the top has grown through gradually and naturally - just great !

I have seen my mother for the first time in 12 months this Christmas - she said " well at least I know that you're eating well - your hair looks so much thicker than before ! " " I just smiled and said something like "the vitamin tablets must be kicking in !!!" . She said "which ones - I could use some myself" ... I just smiled and said she did'nt need any !

Its just so good to feel hair where it was starting to go thin - I am really pleased Roxy - pass my best wishes on to Dr Epstein

Have a great new year!
R

ps - dont forget that i want to keep this a secret !

Thanks Dr Epstein, you have been really great over this via of communication (email) - Thanks very much for your patience and time - it's really a difference (If I compare my experience with other Doctors I have contacted... They usually don't have the time!...  and they are some kind of superior beings!! --) Thanks again Doc..

Hi Dr Epstein,

I was out of town last week so I just got your office's voice mail to my home phone.

A belated Happy New Year to you and all your staff!

I feel so much better looking at my hair in the mirror nowadays. Seeing the bald areas being gradually covered over by new grown hair and the improving image of "years brought back" gives me so much satisfaction. I know with the coming months it will only get better!

A wholehearted thank you to you and your team for giving me my new look and I sincerely wish you all greater success and happiness in the new year and beyond.

Jake

It works! And I couldn't be more pleased and amazed at the results. Although I was thrilled with my new look immediately, within weeks I did lose what seemed like all of my little sprouts. I wasn't fully prepared for that, and I began to wonder if maybe for me it wasn't going to work. But...in September just like magic, every single implant began to sprout and grow, and today my guess is that 100% of them are alive and well - each now being about 2" long and growing. I remember in my consultation with Dr. Epstein, I asked if there was any chance that it wouldn't work, and he smiled and simply stated "Oh, it works". Well, he was right and I wish him all the success in both his practice and in creating the same magic for others. Cynthia

Dr Epstein,

Thank you and your staff for all their time and effort. Everything seems to be going quite well, the healing processes went very smoothly, I will send photo's as soon as possible. I have just returned to Afghanistan and had a very enjoyable holiday. I wish you and your staff a very Happy New Year and thank you again for helping me regain my confidence.

Sincerely,

Ed

Dr. E,

All is going well and as I approach 3 months the propecia is doing well on my crown. Per our discussion prior to my HT, is it ok to stop using Rogaine at 3 months and if I do, will I lose any hair that has come in

Thanks again for your work, the scar looks fantastic (per my wife) and while the hairline itself is slow coming in, the hair you placed behind it is coming in well.

Ed W

Hi Roxy,

I couldn't be better. Everything went better than I expected. The pain was less than a dentist visit. My friends couldn't even tell that I had the procedure a few days ago. Absolutely unbelievable. I am so thankful that I found Dr. Epstein. Thanks for everything, Mike

Jeff:

I just wanted to share with you how well things are going. I had dinner with a friend the other night I usually see 3-4x/year. He is balder than I am (was) and he said to me "what did you do to your hair It looks amazing. " Last week I saw my brother in law who is also follicularly challenged.  He said to me "How did you get your hair so thick, it looks amazing". What is really great is that both of these people thought my hair looked great and had no idea I had a HT. The result is so natural I love it. Thank you for your expertise and excellent work.

Warm regards

David S

Hey Roxy... made it back to Orlando in one-piece. Thank you again for all your help. I am following up with a letter to Doc E. when I have a chance. I am writing an account of my story on-line and Doc told me that I had 2210 grafts but I forgot to ask for the breakout.. 1's, 2's, etc. If you guys keep that I just want to have a full accounting of what I had done. Thanks again for everything! You guys are first class!

Sincerely,

Rich-

Dear Doc, I just got back from my first hair cut and thought I would take a minute to say thanks. I could not have imagined the procedure going any better than it did. You and your staff did anything and everything to make my wife and I extremely comfortable; from the personal attention from you and your staff to the sushi for lunch, it was just perfect. I was extremely nervous about having the procedure and now after this wonderful experience, this next procedure will feel like a reunion with old friends.

Thanks again to you and to your tremendous staff .

Sincerely Joel L. M

Hi Roxy,

Do you guys have a nice roof I could use

So I can yell off the top of my lungs that Dr. Epstein is the best surgeon in the world

So far so good. Have a wonderful day. Please say hello to everyone.

Thank you.

Cecile

Dear Roxy, Hi Jeff from CT hoping all had a happy and safe holiday. Weather getting into 30's 10 more degrees and it's t shirt weather! Your office called a couple of days ago, but I was out, sorry I missed you. The chest hair is going very well and I am thrilled, growing quite long, it actually is growing up and over my shirt collar! I promise to get a photo out to you. I hope to see you all again soon for the next procedure. Now that I am a veteran please feel free to give my cell number to anyone who is considering the same procedure.  860-946-7034  Hugs to all and god bless.     Jeff

 Dr. Epstein,
I've attached photos and so far I'm very pleased and thank you! When I was in the office I think you estimated my total available donor hair to be around 5300 I think you also found out that the right side of my head is slightly less dense than my left. Since we used 1800 I'm guessing 3500 would be the total available for future use I'm going to send a follow on e-mail to clarify my thoughts on what might be possible.
Thanks, Gary

Jeff:

I have two consults lined up for you when you come to NY. Let me know the dates you'll be up. A dentist friend of mine and his son suffer like I used to.

My hair is awesome. I never thought it could look this good. Every time I look in the mirror I can't believe how good the result is.  You're the best!!

Warm regards

David

Hi, Roxy.

This is Aaron from New Orleans. I had a transplant to my face on December 26, 2003. I apologize for not sending a picture sooner, but one is attached. I am quite pleased with my transplant

With best regards,
Aaron

Dear Roxy

I have arrived safely back in England although I am wishing I stayed longer in Miami as I believe you had a wonderful sunny weekend! Nevertheless I did enjoy one day of sunshine before I returned to cloudy cold England at least.

I hope you and Dr Epstein had a pleasant trip to New York .

I would like to thank Dr Epstein, yourself and the wonderful staff in your department. I was treated extremely well from start to finish and felt very comfortable. Unfortunately I cannot remember all of the names but I was very impressed with their professionalism but especially by their friendliness and good humour. I only wished I could speak Spanish!

I read the testimonials on the website before I decided on going ahead with the treatment and they are unanimous in their praise. Now I understand now that it is for good reason.

After the first night which was a little uncomfortable, my scalp has settled very quickly.

By day four i.e. yesterday,  the scabs were already starting to shed with some transplanted hairs, although I understand that is to be expected I have been very gently rubbing the scabs which have very readily shed without causing discomfort or bleeding. I hope that I have not been doing this a little prematurely because on reading the advice sheet it is recommended to rub the scalp perhaps on day 5 or later

Perhaps you could check with Dr Epstein in case he feels this would cause any problems

I intend to get a colleague to remove the sutures on day 10. I believe there is a continuous prolene suture closing the donor site. Can I ask what the best method for removal of the suture would be. Is it cutting the distal ends and pulling the suture out as a single strip or cutting it at different points

Perhaps it would be better to ring and talk to one of the technicians for such advice

Anyway, thank you very much again and please send on my regards and best wishes to Dr Epstein

best wishes

KM

Hi Laurie (this is a prospective patient considering a hairline advancement procedure) ,

I am 33 years old and fortunately never lost hair but was always very self-conscious about my rather large forehead.

This procedure has changed my life and the way I feel about myself in the most amazing ways. Having a smaller forehead, and a more rounded forehead, has made me feel like I can have any kind of bad hair day and still feel comfortable with my face. And I even feel like I'm no longer afraid to grow older. The difference is amazing . To make a long story short, let me just tell you that if I had known about this 10 years ago, I would have done it!

I feel so beautiful no matter what my hair looks like and it's really a good feeling! I am forever grateful to Dr. Epstein and this is why I volunteered to help him reassure prospective patients about this procedure. It's my way of thanking
him.

I know you probably have a lot more questions.  Please feel free to ask them and I will provide you with whatever information I can!Just remember, that I am only a patient and not a doctor so if you ask me questions that are too technical, I may not be able to answer, but I'll do my best. I remember just about everything about this procedure since it was such a positive life-altering decision for me!

Looking forward to hearing from you again!

Sincerely,
Cecile

Dear Roxy,

It is now our three month anniversary and I am just starting to show some signs of new hair growth. It has been the longest three months ever!

My friends are calling the "Man Swan".

I look forward to my new look and will be visiting you in 3-4 months time. I plan on buying you and your team lunch.

Thanks again for being the awesome person that you are! You and Doctor E are bringing back my self confidence and a glass that is more than half full!

Soon, I will be able to put the top down on my sports car and go driving down the highway and not have everyone say "Hey look at the bald guy in the middle of midlife crisis"

Thanks again, Carol wanted me to tell you and Dr. E hello from her.

Best regards,

John M

Dr Epstein

Just to say thank you for the wonderful job you have done. I must commend on you and your crew for the friendliness , warmth and helpfulness as well as humour in all phases of the procedure. It surely had lightened every the atmosphere and make the procedure itself even enjoyable.

Please extend my regards to everybody
Thomas Ong

PS The transplants seems to do perfectly. There is no scab and only slight swelling on the sides of the head. Just wish I had more hairs to cover the crown !

Hello Dr E and Roxy!

I hope this email finds you both happy and in good health.

I had a very thorough haircut last Friday, where my barber buzzed the back of my hair down to a number five in the donor area, and so significantly shorter than the length I'd been wearing it. It actually looks great - not a sign of any shockloss at that length, and my barber told me he was being conservative - he could probably have taken me down to a two or a three, but wanted to wait until next time (3-4 weeks) to be absolutely sure of the recovery.

I'll try to post some images when I can, but I can promise you that Dr Epstein's scar work is truly remarkable. My barber says he can barely see any signs of my scarring from previous ops, let alone the latest with Dr E. And running a comb through the number 5 length, you would truly not now know that I had surgery only 16 weeks ago."

Dr E, Roxy, I'll try to send you some images of the donor area to continue my "story" if you're interested, as soon as I can (working life is very pressurised just at the moment). On the subject of the recipient area, I'm starting to see growth on what will be the new hairline. I'm still using Minoxidil twice a day as often as I can, plus Finasteride of course.

Things are looking good at just under four months out, and I'll send some images over asap.

Very best wishes to you both,

Neil

Jeff, Thanks again for the hair ! You and your staff are truely exceptional professonals. Your office has a wonderful spirit.

Dear Dr. Epstein,

I would like to express my gratitude for the procedure you performed on me. The courtesy that I was shown by your staff is greatly appreciated. I'm doing ok. It's day 5 post surgery. I took all the medications as indicated. In addition, I started propecia on day 2. I also used the rubber band for 3 days starting day 2. I feel good except that I'm a little worried about the original hairs within the recipient area, especially that they're cut very short and I can't really see if they're there. As for the grafts, I think they're good. I intend to start exercising again next monday. Please let me know if you have any special recommendations. Thank you again.

Yours Sincerely,

Taofic M.

Dr Epstein, Roxy & staff,

Thank you, thank you & thank you !!!!!! My experience at your office was superb. On Thursday as you know I had 2000+ grafts placed. The staff treated took care of me with their undiveded attention. The procedure was painless & 3 days later, you can hardly notice. I just have tiny pink scabs with "lots more hair". UNBELIEVABLE but true !!! If it looks this good 3 days later, I can't wait to see what it will look like in 6 months. You have already made a difference in my life & for that I can not thank you enough. My best to all of you.

God bless you all,
Dr Gus

Roxy, Dr. Epstein -

Hi from Orlando . Hope you are well. This is Duncan Butts. Tall, previous bald guy. I just wanted to say hello.  I tried to forward to you about a week ago a July 2004 photo taken on a singles trip I took to Costa Rica . In the photo, however, I have a drink in my hand and I didn't want you guys to think I'm a lush. I recall that one of the previous photos I sent to you was taken in Key West with a Corona in my hand! I will try to send you the photo from home this evening.

My hair is looking great. In fact, a friend of mine in the building said someone remarked to her that I had good looking hair, and my friend said that she didn't think the person knew I had a follicular unit transplantation. Pretty wild, eh

Hope you guys are well. Thanks!

Duncan .

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Your performed my hair transplant surgery in February of last year. I have to tell you the results are great. I appreciate everything you and your staff have done. The reason I am sending this e-mail is because at my initial consultation you recommended I use propecia. Well, my prescription has expired. I would not bother you with this however, I have no reason to see my primary doctor now or in the near future. Can you please send me a new one

Sincerely,
David

Hi Roxy,

It's been 10 days since my procedure and things are looking really good - so far I'm very very pleased. I have many good things to say about Dr. Epstein and his fine staff and plan to write a letter of thanks along with final pics when everything is grown in. But for right now, I do have a few questions that I was hoping Dr. Epstein or someone on your staff could answer for me.

I have followed all of Dr. Epsteins post procedure instructions and have no scabbing or crusts left. However, none of the hair shafts have fallen out. In fact, they seem to be growing - which is a nice surprise.  Given this, I was wondering if I should begin using monoxidil. I have included a pic of my progress (see pic 1)

Also, I am curious if Dr. Epstein would consider me as a candidate for a second and final procedure. Don't get me wrong - I think I will be very happy with the final result. But I'm wondering if the hairline could be lowered slightly more and rounded down slightly at the sides(see pic 2).

Again, I am in no way being critical of Dr. Epstein's work - I'm extremely pleased. I'm just curious to know what he thinks as I would consider a second procedure if he felt there was more that could be reasonably done.

Joe D

I know that as a patient, I am in the hands of the finest, most outstanding physician in your field anywhere, feelings shared by my son, and for this, both of us are grateful.

Suzanne

Dear Dr. Epstein:

It has been a great pleasure and privilege to know you and to have received your service and expertise, and the girls are wonderful and sweet and good at what they do too. I hope the final results will reflect just that.

Thank you again, Dr. Epstein.

Yours Truly,

Tong

Hi Roxy, I hope you are all doing well and that the ABC piece went well. Was Manhattan as you left it  If it has not aired yet, will you let me know when it does Chest doing well, and I am now a furry beast! My freinds are totally astounded!

My best to you all

Jeff

Hi Roxy and Dr. Epstein:

I am back in Krakow, Poland - I feel great, everything is healing properly so now the waiting process begins :) Thank you for making the entire process very smooth and friendly. Turkey wraps never tasted so good :)

best regards,
M

Hi Dr. Epstein!

Thanks for getting in touch with me! I am doing great! My boyfriend removed the sutures for me two nights ago. All of the scabs have fallen off of my brows and the redness has subsided. Slowly, the hairs are falling out. Now I'm just waiting for time to reveal the marvels of your handiwork. =) Thank you so much for everything! I will keep you updated!

Sincerely,

Jessica

Hi Roxy!! Can you see the HUGE smile on my face!! I'm so ecstatic I could cry and I can't stop looking at my brows!

I want to thank you, Dr. Epstein and his entire staff for everything you did. From the moment I walked into the office I felt comfortable and I was totally confident that I had made the right decision. Dr. Epstein and his staff are phenomenal at what they do. And you, dear sweet lady, are right up there at the top of my list as the nicest, most wonderful person I've ever had the pleasure to know. It takes a very special person to do what you do, Roxy, and I am blessed to have met you for you truly are an angel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Please let everyone know how very thankful I am for what they did for me. Words can't express my gratitude and I will never forget what wonderful people all of you are.

I'll stay in touch and I'll be sure to send pictures a few months down the road. Thanks again!!

Oh, and yes.....if anyone ever asks for a reference you certainly may give them my e-mail address. I want to shout out to the world what great people all of you are and what a phenomenal job Dr. Epstein and his staff did on my brows!!!

Anita

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Kindly be informed that I have decided to take my surtures off in Hong Kong.
Would like to thank you on a wonderful job on my 2nd hair transplant. Can't
wait to see the full results in about 8 months time. Will let you know by
then.

Take care,
LOUIE

Hi Everyone,

I'm just here at home going about things easily so I don't create any stress or other problems that may be bad for the grafts placed onto my face on my May 23 procedure. I'm keeping it cool and dry except for the routine GraftCyte spraying. Sorry I couldn't smile and show my appreciation much when I was done but my face felt somewhat numb and I was trying to not stretch it by talking much, etc. and risk ruining anything. I want to closely follow the recovery instructions. I hope that I at least left a good arriving impression if not departing impression. I got the suture removal kit- How strict should I be about waiting 10 days to get that taken care of

Thanks a lot for everyone being so nice to me during the whole procedure. Of course it sure didn't hurt being mostly girls. I appreciate being escorted
outside and getting help with ideas on getting back to the hotel.

I am so glad that I finally found you all to help me with my problem after wishing and wondering if there was anything I could do for over fifteen years. I guess that the only thing that I didn't know before I got there was that newly grafted hairs could not be placed too close together or else they may not adhere correctly. But now I'm going to have hair where I'm supposed to. Even though I'm going to have hair on the front now, would it be okay if I thought of a future appointment to fill in a little more if I feel like it and can afford another visit I understand that future procedures need to wait long enough to prevent any damage to previous grafts. I guess that's it for now.

Thanx,
Mike B

Hey Dr Epstein:

I had surgery with you five and a half weeks ago. And...my hair starting
growing several days ago in the crown area--WOOHOO!! I am wondering if you think that hair is from the surgery or from the Propecia and Rogaine. It
would be great to have the extra hair for the parts you didn't fill in!
Should I continue on the Rogaine

Thanks! Ryan P

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Thank you for following up with me. I just got back to Las Vegas today from Ohio . Everything seems to be going well. The scar healed extremely well, almost completely unnoticeable

I really appreciate the special interest and individual attention I received from you and Roxy and all the others. Each one of you really made me feel better about myself. Thank you so much for fully explaining everything to me, my Mother, and God Mother. I really feel I made the right decision. I am excitedly waiting for my new hairs to grow in. I will keep you posted on my progress and hope to see you in April. Any advice I would greatly appreciate. I wanted to ask you about Advodart, and if it would be an option for me Thank you so much, and have a great day. Please tell everyone I said Hi!

Sincerely,

Jeff

Hi Roxy,

It has been 8 days since my 2nd hair transplant and the area is completely clean of scabs and crusts - everything looks great and I think I'm going to be really pleased with the final outcome. I'm going to start using rogaine this week and I will email you final pics when everything is grown in.

I'm so happy that I found Dr. Epstein and all of you who work in his office. The work you guys do is really impressive and from what I've seen - far superior to most.

I was wondering if you could email me the final count of my second hair transplant procedure - I believe it was somewhere around 2400 but I would like the info for my own personal knowledge.

Thanks Again,

Joe D

It certainly looks like your practice is going strong.  Now that I have a little more perspective, I must say that I really admire you for adhering to the highest standards and doing things the way you wanted and the right way

Also, I saw Paulette today for a haircut (she likes to see me because I am her only client that comes in for a regular hair cut!). She sends her regards and asked me to thank you for your note.

Thanks very much, Ray

Dear Dr. Epstein, Roxy and the staff,  (warning: kinda long e-mail, take bathroom breaks if you need to)

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for providing such a FABULOUS TOP-NOTCH brow transplant surgery. After the Valium and swelling went down, I was able to get a more accurate assessment of the implant when I looked into the lighted-up magnified mirror at home. It revealed even more of your innate aesthetic and scientific capabilities. Where art meets science: that's what makes a top-notch plastic surgeon. But I knew this based on your overwhelmingly impressive background. I contacted 5 other surgeons, even one in Beverly Hills of all places, and I knew that I'd chosen the right one.  The 6th time's a charm in this case.  I remember checking your site half a year ago, and there was some mention of how you played the violin for years. I can't seem to find it on the site now. That drew me in even more as it shows the natural dexterity of your fingers to enhance the implantation.  Didn't hurt that you're easy on the eyes, too, haha. A true Renaissance man just like my favorite artist, Leonardo da Vinci.

The staff was incredible. Everyone was very sweet and professional, and I felt very welcomed. The implanters did an excellent job, having my hand held relaxed me quite a bit, etc, etc. I stayed quiet for the most part so everyone could concentrate, but I do realize that because you've all had so much experience on this, you can all do it in your sleep;o). I joked with Roxy about coming back and getting a hotel (er, hostel) on South Beach for everyone over Christmas break. Or was I joking;-) Maybe after I finish school and pay back Uncle Sam, haha.

The procedure was painless for the most part. When I had my brows tattooed on, that was some real pain that only a sadist would enjoy;o) I looked like Groucho Marx on crack for days and the end result wasn't that much better. However, after the implantation, on the plane ride back, I looked like a Golden Retriever (the puffy eyes) but puppy dogs are much cuter than Groucho Marx so I'll take that any day. A couple days later, it looked like I had pretty golden yellow eye shadow on and now I'm completely normal, relatively speaking;o). I admit, I was a bit shocked at first and being in the wrong state of mind, I thought my brow shape was going to stay crescent-moon shaped and not the shape I was going for. I just didn't realize they were that puffy and that was causing it. I apologize for that. I think the Florida sun fried my brain a bit (but no sunburn, at least!), oh, and hunger.

You have all exceeded my expectations (and mine were high!) for meticulously implanting each and every brow hair in the most natural angle that only Mother Nature could achieve. The hairs blend in perfectly as if my own genetic code had designed them for my particular facial structure. The only way I can really tell which ones are mine is based on the fact that I have to use hairspray to keep the real ones in place. And the ones that were obviously not there in the first place. Mainly at the base and at the tail. Most of my real hairs are slightly thinner but one can only tell under the microscope.  But of course, brow hairs and head hair are different from one another in terms of thickness. Well, mine are, at least.

I noticed that on the right brow, you had designed for a few to be placed above my brow line. Not only did that add more symmetry to my face, but it opened up my eye area, adding a lift after tweezing a slight amount under the right brow. I won't need botox for a few years, jk;o). The brow hairs along the "tails" were a bit short, but now they've already grown enough to lay flat and natural (ie, don't stick out at a crazy angle that some other doctors tend to do).

With the implanted hairs, they stay in the right direction and I WAKE UP with these brows in place (given that I've slept on my back, of course). No, wait...I now wake up with a full set of nicely shaped REAL eyebrows for the first time in my life! A somewhat good analogy for what this means to me would be like having gone through life without an upper lip. Like a part of the facial bone structure is missing. It makes one realize that eyebrows are just as important as the eyes, the lips or the mouth. Otherwise, a person looks blank and expressionless and asymmetrical. Not the most attractive sight.

What amazes me the most is that this surgery occurred only a few days ago, and I'm already ecstatic with the results. Not only with the physical results but the PSYCHOLOGICAL results as well. And that's what it really comes down to. (Ok, now I'm crying, lol...which happened yesterday, too...after the Valium, puffiness and initial shock wore off, I was able to get in touch with my feelings).

What these brows have added to my life is BALANCE. Not having that anxiety and insecurity when talking to someone under the bright sunlight and them wondering why my brows are blue or partially missing. Not spending 15+/- minutes JUST on my brows alone to make them as natural looking as possible. Achieving the natural look is so high-maintenance, what an oxymoron, hehe. I commented to Roxy that this procedure would change my life. It may sound a tad bit dramatic, especially to someone who was born with full brows and takes it for granted or a person void of an aesthetically sensitive eye (or is that vanity no, no!). But yes, this has and will be life-altering as I gain the CONFIDENCE to welcome new adventures into my life.

Here in Oregon , we love our rock climbing and camping and other very outdoorsy activities. I was always too self-conscious to engage in anything that would cause my brows to come off and would spend most of my time indoors (bar scene gettin way too old). The blue eyebrows took a psychological toll more than I had realized. I'm already visualizing all the things that I want to take up like scuba diving, surfing, just being SPONTANEOUS and living a more adventurous, outdoorsy and active life. Although I must admit, not doing those things have caused me to focus more on the academic aspect of my life so that's one good thing I got out of it. Ah, and less wrinkles. Seven years down, 4 more to go. But why not both Now I can get my studying in and dash right out the door to go swimming and throw that insecurity and vanity out the window. Just throw on my mascara and powder and go! No more 20-60 min routine!  Now it's under 5 minutes, if that, to put on my "face" for class. Wow, you've helped me with my time-management skills, too and that's very important to a goal-oriented person who wants to look nice at the same time but doesn't want to spend too much time working on it. Semi-permanent lash extensions might be next, but that's it. I already spoke with a Seattle doctor about permanent ones, and he said it was a bad idea. He's also the one who recommended you and Limmer.

Anyways, this e-mail is a bit long and you are a busy doctor with a busy staff (which is a very good indication, esp for business:o), and I feel like I'm writing in my diary. But this is a great way to get my point across as to how I have been feeling since the procedure. Any balding customers walking into my future pharmacy asking about Propecia or Rogaine, I would surely recommend you and your staff. I'll recommend any browless friends of mine suffering from tacky porn star-esque eyebrow makeup. Not only do they get a hair transplant surgeon but also a shrink at the same time who doesn't need to hand out the Paxil to alleviate the anxiety of having no hair;o).

Heck, I will do it on your incredibly thorough website! I authorize you to use my eyebrow pics as long as my face isn't shown. From right below my brows to my hairline is fair game. Because a picture is worth a thousand words when it comes to plastic surgery, I really would like to show everyone the incredible end results. The pics REALLY won me over and that's what it boils down to. And if you would like to publish my letter, you are more than welcome to as long as it's my initials. You can censor it, too (ie, take paragraphs out).  I tend to be a bit tongue-in-cheek at times so if there's anything off-color, I understand. Happens when you grow up with 3 older brothers;o)

I have a webcam, but I'm not sure if it would show the brows all too clearly. But in a few months, when the masterpiece is complete, I'll send you a picture. I was thinking about coming back to S.Beach for Christmas break, but it looks like we all agreed on ringing in the New Year in Vegas. Will follow up on that. Well, I'll be back eventually and I'd love for everyone to see them in person and appreciate their hard work and what it's done for me. Once again, THANK YOU from the bottom of my happy heart! And like I had said in the operating room, "the world recommends you." I now personally know that it is true, and the only thing I regret is not having met you and the staff much much sooner...like when I was in middle school;o)

Sincerely,

S

P.S. Take a short break and smell the flowers (the ones I sent to ring in the Autumn season which is what we Oregonians actually have...ahhh, I want to go back to beautiful, WARM Miami as I am in a sweatshirt right now). The last implanter asked about the tattoo remover I'm using: it's called Tat Be Gone and the ratings indicate that it works very well.

Dear Roxy,

Thank you for your email. I arrived home safely today.

I have a question regarding the Rogaine product; The info sheet says to use it once or twice a day starting on the tenth day and continue until the hairs are growing in at approx three months. However, on the box it says not to use the product if there is no family history of hair loss as it is in my case. Should I go ahead and use it anyway...

I would also like to thank you all for your efforts, I am very grateful and really appreciate the time, patience and attention Dr.Epstein and all his staff put into my procedure. You have a great team of dedicated and caring people.

I will keep you informed of my progress and I will let you know if I have any questions or concerns. Thanks again Roxy it was a pleasure meeting you too.

Best Regards,

Barbara L.

Hey Jeff,
Just wanted to drop you a line and say hello!
I'm still planning on coming to see you again for one more treatment.
Love my hair, with rogaine, Propetia, and the Nioxin products the graphs have come in so nice, very thick now, and my crown area gets better all the time.

Looking forward to coming out there again, will be getting a hold of Roxy soon.

take care doc...
love,
Spence

Everything is fantastic, especially my hair. In fact, I was just in to visit the top dermatology group here in Jacksonville for a Restylane injection. The doctor was so impressed with your work (he saw before and after) that he was asking me for information on you if he decides to do a procedure.

Funny, I was internet surfing today and decided to stop by your web site to see what is new. I had not been there in ages. I will probably be coming down within six months. Cannot wait to show you the results and explore the possibility of another procedure.

Regards,
Bob

Jeff:

Thanks for the note. I hope all is well with you. I am extremely pleased with the results of my procedure. My only regret is that I did not have it done sooner.

Sincerely,
Jim

Hello Dr. Epstein, Roxy & Staff,

Just wanted to say thanks to your whole staff, they were a lot of fun and personable. Your staff reflects a great deal of your organization. From jammin to the Reggae to someone always making sure I was comfortable. It wasn't just one person it was the team, which was fantastic.

As far as how I am doing Great I been trying to take it easy hit the gym Saturday and Sunday (only cardio) and I am in the office today. Really have had no problems or pain. Followed all of your recommendations and no need for any of the pain medicine.

Please send my thanks to your whole staff.

Cheers
Keith

Hi Dr. Epstein

Everything came out great. Now the only thing I worry about its the hair in the crown...hopefully we'll be able to do something with that in the future.

Thanks for everything

Brian

Thanks Dr. Epstein:

I was glancing through the Hair Transplant Coalition web site discussion forum where you get rave reviews. Anyway, just had my hair cut and my barber comparing this transplant to other clients he has told me you did a great job, especially given the surgery was only three weeks ago.

Know your busy. Best Regards.

David G

I just got a ~2,400 hair transplant ("follicular unit micrograft") on December 19, 2005. This was my first surgical experience ever for anything. My experience could not have been better. The quality of service was outstanding - both from Dr. Jeffrey Epstein and his stellar staff. Though I live in Chicago , I decided on Dr. Epstein in Miami , and flew into Miami on Dec 18th the night before the procedure. My decision to go with Dr. Epstein was based on both the excellent reviews from past patients on this forum and very prompt email responses to my questions from Dr. Epstein and his staff. I was not disappointed. The facilities (at 6280 Sunset Drive, Miami ) are top notch and immaculately maintained. The service was excellent: I had a 7:00am appointment and I was attended to promptly - there were no "dead time" waiting delays and everyone was extremely courteous. Dr. Epstein advised me on the hair replacement strategy appropriate for my condition. The procedure went smoothly - though I was zoned out through most of it on my iPod (thanks to the Valium/Ambien combo). After the procedure, I spent the night in a nearby Marriott (where as Dr. Epstein's patient I received a special discounted room rate). There was absolutely no bleeding. I returned to the clinic the following morning for shampooing, and a final check-up by Dr. Epstein. By late afternoon Dec 20th, I was back in Chicago . It is now Dec 25th. No bleeding or pus to date and the healing is taking place rapidly. I will be back to work On January 2nd 2006 and I doubt that anyone will notice anything (I expect the bruises and scabs to be long gone).

Hi Jeff:

I wanted to let you know how I am doing since my procedure last November. My assistant took the sutures out (hopefully all of them!) on day 16 and the crusts certainly fell out much quicker than they did when Dr. S did my other procedures. We went to Portugal right after the operation and had a great time. It has now been 4 months and the new hairs are really coming in. The hair line looks terrific. I wanted to thank you and your professional team for an excellent job.

Anyway, have a good day, you deserve it.

Paul

Dr. E,

Thank you once again for the great experience at your office. It was comforting to be around such caring and professional individuals.

The scalp is healing nicely and I have not had any pain or bleeding since the surgery. I have a little swelling but, I am sure that is quite normal. I can't wait to see the finished result!

Also, I wanted to thank you for the CD. I listened to it on my way back to Jacksonville. Great music and you can still feel the Floyd experience through it.

Please tell your wonderful staff thank you for all of their care and patience. You really have some special people working for you.

Talk to you soon,

W M

Hi Roxy

I love my new eyebrows and hairline. Most all of the crusts have come off my brows ( day 6 ) and I have a lot of flakey skin hanging on which does not want to come off yet. I can see the difference my new hairline is going to make already. Thanks again for everything. You and your staff were wonderful. Dr. Epstein is a GENIUS and a BABE!!! I'll send pictures when my hair starts coming in.

Carly

Hey Dr. Epstein,

I just wanted to write and say thanks again. everything looks perfect. the next morning after my procedure, i felt great, i had no pain or problems.  tell your staff, i said hi and they were great as well after its all grown in, ill send some pictures,

thanks again, randy

Hi Dr. Epstein-

I wanted to thank you for your wonderful eyebrow transplant that you did for me on Tues. April 25th. It was great meeting you and your wonderful staff. Everyone was so kind to me and my father. We got home safely on Wed. night. I did not go to work on Thursday or Friday and I looked pretty presentable by Saturday to go out in public.  I am so glad that I saw you on television on the Boston news station back in December 2005. Thanks for giving me hope. I feel as though a big weight has been lifted off of my shoulders now that I did this transplant.

Thanks so much. Thanks for your patience in reading this email from one of your worst and most hyper patients.

Thanks-

B W

Hi Dr. Epstein-

I did rub off some remaining crusts and some hair came off with them, but the paper you gave said that was normal. I think I have spent too much time staring at the eyebrows ... I want to thank you for your wonderful job on them. I hope I have not worn out my welcome with you and your office staff by all my questions!

B W

Jeffrey

I have no problem with it being public at all- I tell most of my friends here about the procedure- I can't see the big deal why not. My hair is looking fantastic!! So there would be good comparisons I would be happy to send the photo to you first before release if you wish.

Thanks

Wayne

Eventhough I am still not sure if i want to get a hair restoration procedure, I think that doctor Jeffrey S Epstein is one of the best doctors out there. I have been doing research and whenever i feel that the time is right i will definitely consider him as my first option. I just watched the videos and his work seems to be impresive and I am happy that the doctor decided to help the little girl that had the burns in her scalp.
Thank you doc.

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Everything seems to be healing really nice since the procedure last Monday. I just had a quick question. I haven't noticed any of the transplanted hairs falling out yet. I know from the post-op instructions that they often do fall out, but I was just curious if they always fall out before they start to grow or is there a chance that some will stay and continue to grow.

No rush on the response, it was just a curiosity.

Thanks,

Thomas

Jeffrey,

All is well here. Transplant was a complete success, looks great! I have owned 13 convertibles over the years, and now I can finally put the top down and ride without a hat! Results were well worth the effort and expense. At the time of my procedure you indicated that you thought I had about 500 units left. I would consider thickening up - i s that small a number worth doing in terms of enhanced appearance or should I live happily ever after as is

Walt

Hi guys.. Jason R.. just letting everyone know that all is well from procedure and Im healing extremely well.

Thanks Again.

Hi Dr. Epstenin,

fortunately seems that everthing is working just fine!!! This evening my wife is going to remove the stitches from behind, or if you have any other recomendation please let me know.
Regarding propecia the directions from the instructions are to take un pill daily, do you agree with this recomendation
Say hi to all your wonderful staff,
Kind Regard,

Eduardo

Hello Dr. Epstein,

Meant to get back with you sooner but I've just been very busy. I started seeing some activity back in March & would assume that by now everything that is going to grow has done so. I think many of the grafts did take and overall the results are very good.

Attached are some recent photos that probably don't do justice to the results. I recently trimmed them heavily, and I'm not sure I have the hang of that yet! I usually touch up the sparse areas with a brow pencil (not done in photos), and gradually I'm getting accustomed to going without the mega-glasses!

Many thanks!

D H

Hi Dr. Epstein,

All is well and donor and recipient sites are getting itchy. Really looking forward to removing the forehead tape tomorrow, swelling is almost gone.

When it starts to grow in in a few months I'll send you a picture of your work. I really appreciate you and your staff's dedication, concern, and hospitality.

Regards,

Barry

Hi. My name is Ramania Barnes-McDonald and I live in Canton , GA. I was watching Geraldo At Large which aired on Wednesday, July 26, 2006. I was so impressed by the caring attitude that Dr. Epstein displayed while working with Madea. I was really touched. I even told my co-workers about Madea's story and Dr. Epstein the next day. Keep up the good work Dr. Epstein and staff! Your work is not going unnoticed and I know that you are constantly changing lives of many........... Have a wonderful day!

I live in Manchester England , UK . I needed reparative surgery having subjected myself to at least four procedures in the UK which had left me with an unnatural looking hairline and severe scarring in the donor area.

I chose Miami as my destination because my perception from the UK is that it is a "center of excellence" for plastic surgery.

I chose Dr Epstein as my surgeon for four key reasons:

1. His profile in the USA with various magazine articles, TV appearances etc.

2. His surgical reputation on hair transplant discussioin forums.

3. His testimonials on his website and his willingness to provide references from his patients.

4. His direct consultations with me as a prospective patient and his patience with questions and concerns.

After the procedure on the Friday I spent Saturday and most of Sunday sight-seeing in Miami based on Dr E's recommendations.

All in all the trip was a great sucess - so miuch so that I have brought my family here for a three week tour of Florida and I will be calling in to Dr Jeff's surgery on the 22nd of the month.

Best regards,

Neil

Jeff:

You're my hero too. 2 years after my transplant I am loving the result. I wish you continued much deserved success.

Hi Roxy!

It's Dahlia. I don't know if you remember me, but I saw Dr. Epstein in April for my eyebrows.

I wanted you and him to know that I am very pleased with the job he did.

You guys were all really fabulous.

Thanks, Roxy!

I hope all is well with you!
Dahlia

Hello again!

I went to Dr. Adler's on Thursday to have the stitches removed.

Most of the crusting is gone, I'm letting it fall off naturally, I just stand under the shower and let the water and Selsun Blue do its thing.

The lotion you prescribed works great it relieves the itching -- Thanks!

I still feel like a bald guy but it dawned on me recently that I'm not, thanks to you guys, and I no longer have to worry about my hairloss or feeling ashamed.

I do wish recovery and results were quicker. I'm already beginning to feel different, optimistic, hopeful --- amazing what a few of my own folicule units can do when effectively relocated.

You guys are the best.

DLR
(Formerly just another bald guy!)

Just a short note to say we have arrived home in London safe and sound.

Also could you say a big thank you to all the girls who were present during my operation. I will send you some photos for your records when nature has done its work!

Take Care and Regards
Trevor and Dad.

Dear Dr. Epstein:

Just a quick note to thank you for the great job you did last Friday.  I am very glad and happy that I finally choose you as my Doctor and you may rest assured that for future procedures I will consider no one else in the matter.  I'm not sure if I have sufficient donor areas left, but if I do, you may rest assured that you will be the person conducting my second procedure, unless the Propecia creates a miracle on my crown!!!

Thank you so much for everything and please extend my thanks to your team who did a great job from start to finish.  I am very happy and satisfied with the procedure and have no doubts whatsoever in recommending you and your team to anyone who may want to undergo the operation.

Very truly yours,
Felix

I am 20 years old, a junior in college, and since I was 2  ? I had large scar that ran through my left eyebrow, which was quite noticeable. I had a scar revision done on the area a couple months back to make the scar smaller, but I was unhappy with the results and more self-conscious of the way I looked than before. A lot of my close friends and family members told me not to worry about this facial flaw, that every human being has at least one. That is true, but if there were a solution to such an uncomfortable feature, wouldnt it be worth a try

My answer was yes, and it came in the form of Dr. Epstein. After researching eyebrow scars I learned about his procedure which would transplant hair from the back of my head into my eyebrow to reconstruct it. Being very self-conscious of my scar, I decided to invest the time and money into having the procedure done. I firmly stand behind my choice as the BEST decision I have ever made. In less than 2 hours, I regained confidence I never had in myself. Its funny how sometimes the smallest things can affect you so greatly, especially if youre young. I could have lived with my scar like actors Luke Perry, and comedian Dane Cook (Both of which have similar eyebrow scars), but I chose to have Dr. Epstein improve upon it. The choice I made was worth it a hundred times over. It has been a day since the procedure and I only have slight discomfort in the donor area where the hair was take from. I know that the newly transplanted hair will shed out of my eyebrow before it grows back, but if right now is any indicator of how my eyebrow will look in 2-3 months; I am going to be even happier.

For all those considering hair transplantation, be it to the eyebrow, the top of the head, your body, etc, make the right choice and chose Dr. Epstein as your surgeon. His entire staff is warm and friendly, and the entire procedure was smooth, quick, accurate, and painless. Dr. Epstein, you are truly an artist. Thank you for invigorating my life and restoring my confidence. I am now going to embrace my 20s and the rest of my life without this flaw, all thanks to you. You have given me my life back. God Bless you.

- Tom

Hi Jeff:

Just an update. My hair is all grown in and looks healthy and great. I will probably want one more fill-in treatment in 2-5 years () after my genetically determined bald pattern finalizes or settles down.  I still have thick, terrific donor hair on the back of my head.  It is fairly wavy. Since the transplant, this wavy hair if now waving at the front.  I have been taking Proscar for 4-5 years and Id like to stop it and let nature take its course as I dont really like taking pills.  What do you think

Paul D, M.D.

Dear Dr. Epstein

I love what I see and think you did an awesome job. Thank you so much. In the future, if I should lose more hair, do I have enough donor hair aready having used some

You are posted everywhere on the web as the best in what you do. Thanks again.

Sincerey, PJ

Dear Doctor Epstein,

Just a few words to say the biggest thank you - to you, Roxy and all your lovely staff!

It has been over a week now since I had the procedure and I am very happy with everything - the initial consultation, the transplant, the care and the after-care I have received to-date. The girls in the office are so helpful and friendly - you all made me feel very comfortable.

I am so happy with the result so far but I know I have a little while yet to wait to see the hair grow. Both the donor and recipient sites are healing very well; my scalp is now clean pale pink with these cute little hairs sticking out. I know they will go soon but I guess this is part and parcel of getting the hair growing. The scar is not bothering me at all, I guess I have got used to the sensation; now I am waiting for the stitches to come out (end of this week). The area at the back of the head is still a little sensitive but not much. Overall - thumbs up! I only wish I had come for the procedure much earlier.

Thank you once again and the best wishes to you. I will stay in touch and advise you of my progress.

Warm regards from one happy customer,

Monica

Everything is great Roxy. My second procedure filled in alot and is just recently started to really thicken in. My recovery was very smoth. Definitely wouldn't mind talking to somebody. You guys are the best.

Dr. Epstein:

Just to give you an update: Most of the transplants have now started to grow although there are a couple of spots where the hair is thin. But the other hairs were thin at the beginning too, so I'm expecting normal growth within the next 15 to 30 days. Overall I'm extremely happy about the entire process, I appreciate the effort that you and your team put to make me comfortable with the whole process. Thank you very much once again.

D

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Just wanted to first thank you and your staff for providing top notch care during my procedure. I am feeling great right about now and am looking forward to future hair growth.

Much of the hairs are still in place and have grown, what a pleasure it is to touch all those little transplanted babies! As recommended I have begun using Rogaine (foam) with no side effects, so I plan to continue as outlined.

Other than that, all is well and I will keep you posted on my progress.

Again, please do thank your staff for all their support as they truly went above and beyond. I will email Roxy to let her know as well.

Jose

Dr. Epstein,

Just wanted to give you an update. It has been approx. 8mths since my procedure. As far as my scar goes.... it looks great! I can barely detect a scar at all. I only had a few minor ingrown hairs but, no discomfort at all. Right now, I have a group of friends that are watching my hair closely and they all want to have the same procedure as myself depending on my final results.

Depending on my outcome, I would really like to come in for another session to add more density even though you said you packed it in really tight, I just cant see how it will get much denser unless the hairs grow in even more and fuller. I will send you some pictures as soon as I can. Thank you again for your help!

 Sincerely,

 WM

Hi Doc Epstein,

Hope you have received the message that I left with the inn before I left as my cellphone was out of batt. Just wana let you know how much I appreciate your care, thoughtfulness and encouragement that you have rendered that night when the donor area was bleeding. As you have promised, it stopped bleeding in the morning before I left for the airport. You were very patient with me and made me feel warmth while I was all alone far from home.

Thanks for the wonderful transplants that you have done for me though I have a couple of months to wait to see excellent results from you. You were very professional and humorous in keeping me at ease throughout the surgery. I am very touched indeed.

Thanks for sending me back to the inn that night inspite of your busy schedule, you were all ready to help me feel comfortable. Thank you very very much.

Hope you can set up a centre for hairloss in South East Asia in the near future and I will be most willing to render my service for you if you need me.

Lastly, you are really good looking in real person!! You are my idol..ha ha.

Sincerely Yours,

K

Dr Epstein,

Many thanks for your email.

I am doing fine thank you. I have had the stitches removed and my eyebrows are slowly starting to fall out. I can't wait for them to grow back again. Everyone who has seen me has since the procedure has said that my eyebrows look really natural and are amazed that you can even have that sort of procedure!

I will certainly keep you up to date on my progress.

Thanks again for everything,

V

 Jeff,

Procedure was easy for me this time. Your new assistant is a keeper, gentle, efficient and pleasant.  I took a digital photo of my head a few minutes ago, zoomed in and was very impressed with the coverage. I am excited to see what my hair will look like in 9 months. Hopefully I will meet my goal in looking no older than I actually am ;-)))

Take Care,

Scott

Dear Dr Epstein, first of all I wish you a happy new year 2007.

After 9 months, the result is excellent ! and very natural ! I'm totally happy and I plan to do another procedure next year. You are the best and thank you yet because you changed my life. I want to thank Roxy and your team too, because they did a wonderful job.

Kind Regards.

Hello Dear doctor Epstein

I  hope you are doing well. I first would like to thank you again for the reparative surgery you had performed on me, my hair ,after your wonderful job , is already  looking sooooo much better.

If there are any places you would want for me to talk about you please let me know.

Thank you so much for everything!!!!!

Best Regards
Sincerely
Ester

Hi Roxy,

Good to hear from you. Things are well with me. My eyebrows are starting to grow in....they are looking fabulous. I would be happy to be a reference for Dr. Epstein. You can give them my cell number.

Carol

Hi Dr. Epstein,

It has been 7 1/2 weeks (8 weeks this Friday) since the operation. Everything has worked out the way you said it would so far. There is no more pain at all and everything has healed up very nicely. In fact it is so nice that if I didn't remember the operation I myself would never known that I had it!

My hair is thicker in the front but I am anxiously awaiting the growth of all the new hair. How much longer will I have to wait I decided not to say anything until I was at almost the 8 week mark and then touch base with you. I have healed up so nicely I can't really tell where the grafts are, so I have no idea what is graft hair and what is not. In the back it is amazing, people have absolutely no idea whatsoever and even though I felt some pain in the back after the operation it is like it never happened now.

Thanks very much. Assuming this works out, I will be an enthusiastic reference for you (not like you need more, but I am willing to volunteer). It really is amazing but I can barely tell the operation occured and the person who removed the stitches said the tightness and cleanness of the line and how small it was was amazing. My hairdresser can't tell a thing.

In the front, I can't tell a thing, and no one else can either, even my mother, who I didn't say a thing to about the operation.

Thanks and hope things are well with you.

Christine

Everyone says it looks great. I know I am suppose to come in for a follow up but am traveling a lot and not in Miami. Will be back in town middle of March.

Ken

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I just wanted to say that you have a great staff. I've encountered too many people throughout this long journey that really don't belong in the medical field. But everyone was very nice, answered all my questions, and treated me with utmost respect -- including you!

Jen even waited with me downstairs for the cab that seemed would never arrive. Please let her know that I did make my flight, with literally 3 minutes to spare.

Rob

Hello Dr. Epstein,

I just want to let you know I had a great experience with you and your staff this past Wednesday during my surgery. You and your whole staff were very friendly and comforting to me.  I must admit I was a little nervous when I got to the office for my surgery, but after talking with you about what exactly you were going to do made me feel much more comfortable and really at ease. The first 2 days following my surgery I have had zero swelling and no bleeding what so ever. I cant beleive it. With all the surgeries I have had in the past this has never happened to me before. I am looking forward to see the final result.

Sincerely,
Mitch

Dr. Epstein and Roxy,

I just wanted to take the time while the experience is still fresh in my mind to thank you both and your wonderful staff for your unparalleled quality of service. It was truly refreshing to encounter an operation wherein the personnel really seem to enjoy what they do, and this speaks volumes about how you run your clinic and treat your employees. Across the board I would recommend the clinic to anyone interested in similar work.

Additionally, repair patients like me can be difficult to deal with, as we often become apprehensive about going under the knife again; we feel our trust has been betrayed by the hard-selling techniques of inferior clinics, and the last thing we want to do is risk more damage to our scalp. Dr. Epstein, your personality during the consult and during surgery really helped to put me at ease, exuding a rare combination of both confidence in your ability and compassion for your work and for others that seems to filter down to everyone working there. In fact, every single person I encountered in your office seemed genuinely glad to be there working for you. Throughout the process, your entire clinic was nothing but professional and courteous, and yet I never got the feeling that the atmosphere was too cold or clinical...all in all you and Roxy seem to maintain that delicate balance perfectly.

And the surgery Compared to others I've had it was a total breeze, and the healing for me has been the easiest so far. It was a treat (if having surgery done to your head can ever be a treat!) to see such a finely tuned operation at work. And I cannot say enough about your techs..they really have a way of putting people at ease and their caring attitude shines through every aspect of their work. And on a Friday afternoon, at the end of the day, and at the end of a long work week, I still felt like I was the most important person there...and everyone there still had their head up and a smile on their face!

To say I'm impressed is a HUGE UNDERSTATEMENT!

In any case I wish you all the best, and I look forward to seeing you again Dr. Epstein and Roxy for a follow up after things heal to determine the next course of action. Thanks again and best wishes to you all!

Regards,

Dave

Hi, Jeff,

As I promised, attached are five photos of me. Sorry I took so long -- we're just having too much fun up here in Gainesville. Hope all is well with you and your family. Thanks again for doing such a good job with me.

KR

P.S. I'll be 69 years old in June, and thanks to your expertise and some good genes, people are quite surprised to find out my age.

Hello Dr. Epstein,

I have made it home safely to California with little pain and not much discomfort after my procedure last Thursday. I am still trying to take it in that I actually flew out to Florida and had this procedure and am already back at home! It happened so quickly and easily. I am looking forward to seeing the results in the coming months.

I will keep you posted as to my progress. Dr. Kabaker has said he would like to see my results and I will be most happy to meet with him to show him what I am sure will be a great success!

I want to thank you again for your caring professionalism and expert skill. I felt very safe in your hands. The rest of your staff is terrific too!

All my best,

Holly

Hi Dr. Jeff,

All is well... No swelling in the front , minor swelling along

donor line. On the first procedure the donor area had some spotting for the first few weeks, this time there was spotting on the first night and then none so far. Other than the donor area I feel as though I did not even have anything done; Awesome Job!!!
I really do appreciate all that you have done , not just the procedure but

all the extras that you and your staff do to make my Wife and I feel special.

Sincerely Joe

Jeff,

After seeing other people with "corn hair", I am very pleased with your "one hair" at a time approach. You have done an amazing job so far and I am glad I chose you to be my Doctor...

See you on July 11 (7-11)...

Happy Memorial Day weekend

Al

Dear Dr. Epstein,

I just wanted to email you personally to thank you for the treatment I recieved from you and your staff. They were very friendly and helpful.

The hairline you designed for me was exactly how I wanted it to be. So overall I am very happy with the results, now I just have to be patient and wait for the hair to grow!
Many thanks again,

Sincerely,

Zara.

Hello Dr. Epstein,

I think its time to show you the wonderful and amazing job you've done. How can I ever thank you... I feel very happy! I will send you some more pictures of my hair later on.

My very best regards to you and all your team.

HI Roxy,

She is going to Akron Plastics in Akron Children's Hospital tomorrow to have the new part attached. I was just wonder if why I am there you would like me to have him send Dr. Epstein a progress report on how she's doing and how it looks. I really appreciate all that Dr. E and the staff there have done for me.  I could never put in words that would be able to live up to how greatful me and my family are to him and you and everyone.

Talk to you soon
BJ

Hi Roxy

My recovery is going well. I had a little swelling over the forehead and above the donor area at the back of the head on Saturday. However I noticed from Sunday afternoon the swelling was subsiding and today Monday the swelling has gone.

Tomorrow we go up to Ft Lauderdale where we normally stay and will return to your office on Monday 16th for suture removal. Dr Epstein advised Monday 16th would be the date. Please advise what time I should be in your office. Please note we leave Miami early Wednesday 18th July to return home so I only have 16th or 17th for suture removal.

I am feeling good today and this morning took my last antibiotic tablet.

Please let Dr Epstein know that I am very pleased with the procedure and the experience was exactly as he said it would be.

Peter

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Just letting you know I got back okay and everything's great! I didn't have any more swelling after the second or third day. And now I can also see better what's going on, too. It looks like it's going to be very nice! Thank you so much, again, and I'll keep in touch and let you know how stuff goes. And next time I go to Miami, I'll be sure to let you know so you can do an after picture if you want.

I also just wanted to say what a nice office you have, and how smoothly everything went for me while I was there. It was perfect!

xoxo

Lisa

Dear Dr. Epstein,I want to thank you for the August 10th Friday procedure. Thank you for everything. You are such a fortunate person ... to have the talent and the willingness to change people's lives in such a beautiful, deep way. I wish you the very best and I will keep in touch. I will send pictures. Could you please make sure my face does not show I have seen some people's faces are covered and if you ever use my pictures I would like to be covered as well. Muchsimas gracias por todo.

Un abrazo muy fuerte,
Teresa.

Good morning Dr Epstein,Thank you for your email. Yes, I am doing great! The swelling is just about gone, I had only minimal discomfort and didn't need the pain meds at all! 2100!! that's wonderful!! I was coming into your office Friday to have the sutures removed and was hoping you could take a look.

Hope you had a wonderful birthday and I will see you Friday,
Sean.

Dear Dr Epstein,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your team for the wonderful work undertaken to date, on my pervious two procedures. If you would be so kind as to pass on my thanks to all people involved I would be most grateful.

Kind regards,

Tim L

Roxy!

Hey there! Hope you and Dr. E are doing fantastic. Thanks for sending the nice note to everyone. I saw Dr. Epstein mentioned on the internet MSN a week or so ago regarding the beard and chest transplants. By the way, when I was in the office with Dr. E, I told him that there should be eye lash follicular unit transplantations because eye lashes are a sign of aging. A year later, there it was!

My hair looks absolutely friggin awesome. I have it colored and highlighted. I look like a beach bum. I will try to send you a photograph before I am required to cut it all off for military reserve duty.

Thanks again! Hope Dr. E and the office are doing great!

Hi Roxy, All is fine. Thank you so much for everything. I will keep you updated. Went to the office Monday and nobody noticed. It is just the way you said. I can't tell you how happy I am and how I should have done this years ago.

Couple of questions, 1 Does all the hair shafts fall out because I think mine are growing. Can this be possible or am I just wishful thinking How long till I can color Really turning gray need to ASAP.

Thanks, TB

Hey Roxy,

Just wanted to say hello, seeing its been over a year now. I've attached a photo its not to great and you probally won't remember me but anyways.

The big beard is gone along with 70 lbs. Tell the Doc i'm happy with what he did for chin!!!

Paul

Dr. E.,

Two weeks after the procedure now and everything is going great. I feel good and its nice to have the stiches out.

Thank You,
Devin

Hello Melissa,

I have not heard from you in a while. I was wondering if Fox News was going to air my segment I also wanted to let you know that my eyebrows have finally grown in and the results are amazing. They look wonderful. I can forward you all some after pictures if you would like.

This whole experience has changed my life and the way that I view myself. The self confidence that I have is unbelievable! The results are unbelievable! To go from hardly no eyebrows to having a full set is amazing! I saw that my before pictures are on the website and to see those it is hard to believe that less than a year ago I looked like that.

Please let me know if the segment will air. I would love to see it.  If Fox news in my area would like to do a post procedure interview I would be willing.

Dr. Epstein is an amazing physician and what he and his staff did for me can not be describe in words. Roxy of course it would not have been possible without your support and attentiveness to my needs. Dr. Epstein you and all your caring staff took exceptional care of me during this whole journey. I think that not only the exceptional care that you and your staff provide but also the relationship that you strive to have with you patients is one of a kind! I have and will continue to let everyone I meet know about the wonderful services you and your staff provide that sets you a part from any other physician, and being a nurse I know this.

Thank you all very much!!

Jody

Hi Dr. Epstein.
Thanks so much for calling and checking on my well being last night. It means a lot. Everyone at your office was so nice and made me feel comfortable. Like I said, I am emailing you now to see about getting a date set up with the doctor you know in Stuart to get the stitches removed Just let me know. Thanks again for everything.

Talk to you soon.

Hello All,

I'm 41 years old, I live in Los Angeles, and I have had a total of 6900 grafts from 5 procedures, the last of which was on 9/24. These surguries were performed by Dr Jeffrey Epstein in Miami. Dr Epstein is an extremely compassionate physician who takes great pride in his work and it is definitely reflected in the results I have seen.

The most recent procedure was a breeze. I left his office at 5pm and boarded a plane back to LA by 8:30 that evening. I had no swelling, minimal pain that could be relieved by ibuprofin, and my incision line looks great 10 days later. My goal on this procedure was to fill the crown area and Dr Epstein's placements look outstanding and natural.

The work that Dr Epstein has done is incredible. The positioning and placement of his work has grown in a completely natural looking way.
Getting HT surgery has allowed me to style my hair in a much more contemporary hair style resulting in me looking years younger that what I am. As a single guy in my early 40's this has dramatically effected my lifestyle and opportunites.

I live in an area where there are many surgery center options, but it is worth it for me to have the piece of mind to know that the work is going to be the highest quality possible; therefore, having Dr Epstein do the work was an obvious choice. He is a master of his craft.

Dear Dr. Epstein,

We would like to thank you for all your help. The procedure went so smoothly. I am so excited. I am taking perfect after-care as per your instructions.  We certainly appreciate your follow-up phone calls. It is really generous and kind of you!

Please convey my thanks to your wonderful staff.

Best Regards,
A.G.

Ever thing seams normal at this 5-day post op stage,IE, washing hair.scabbing etc.

YOU ADVISED ME TO ASK FOR Md's name address in Charleston, SC for suture removal as I would like to make appt. for next FRIDAY IF POSSIBLE.

I WANT TO THANK YOU AND YOUR STAFF FOR YOUR PROFESSIONALISM AND KINDNESS,AS IT MEANT SO MUCH TO ME IN THIS VENTURE.

REGARDS, jonpaul

Roxy,

I had my surgery, this past Aug.for a hair transplant.I'm the person who told you, "kiss me in the morning , before you go to work !!"

I'm also the person, who had hair transplants, w/ Norman Orietrack,30 years ago, w/ plugs. I did relay that to the doctor, in my meeting with him before the operation. I did call him 2 Sundays after that, to tell him, that the school nurse, who took out the sutures, thought he was an artist, with his perfect stitching . It healed, very nicely.

My question, after my long introduction is, should I be taking any thing extra, in the way of, vitamins, or rogain, or anything to accelerate the hair growth  or let it go, el naturuale !!

I did have a wonderful experience, with the Dr. & operation !! Many, many, thanks !!  I'm still anxious to see my new hair growth, at the end of November.

Sincerely,
Raymond

Hi Jeffrey,

Just a quick note to say I am back in Bermuda and the first 7 days of recovery has been great. The scalp is slightly red, but not too bad. Not much hair has fallen out.

I expect the current hair to fall out and looking forward for it to grow back in the next few months.

I will keep you up to date on the hair progress.

Thanks again to you and your team for a so far excellent job.
Jens

Good Afternoon Roxy,

Very many thanks for the info.

We both got home eventually, after the plane was delayed by an hour due to some security alert, but its bloody freezing here in London (Clear blue sky - but frosty). We dont remember to much about Wednesday as we caught up on our jet-lag!

Your #1 fan - My dad sends his many regards.

Can you also pass on our thanks to Jeff and all the girls for their help.

Any problems dont hesitate to call.

Cheers!

Dear Dr. Epstein:

My sincere thanks to you and your wonderful staff for making my hair transplant procedure as comfortable as possible. It's been three days since my procedure and I'm feeling good. I experienced virtually no pain at all during and after the procedure and my new hair line is quite amazing! You did a great job!

Please feel free to consider me as a reference for future hair transplant candidates to contact should they require a patient's point of view.

Again, thank you Dr. Epstein.

Respectfully,
Bradley

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I would just like to thank you for a wonderful experience during the procedure. I can tell the result will look superb. How many total grafts were implanted by the way, and how many 1, 2, or 3 hairs were used I would like to share my experience on the forum. Look forward to seeing you in a few years for the 2nd transplant.

Thanks again,
Kenny

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Just a quick note to say hello, and to give my sincerest thanks to you and your wonderful staff for the positive experience you all made my procedure. I was confident in you and your abilities from the moment I met you and thank you for that, as you made a difficult decision a snap!

My family came over last night after my mom and I arrived from Florida and are so impressed with you and your artistry. I can't tell you how much we all appreciate what you've done and how comfortable I felt; from beginning to end. If you hear your ears ringing, it may be due to us all singing your praises!

I can't wait until my little ??Chia pet' begins to grow! J I'll keep you posted and will send photos.

Happy thanksgiving and kindest regards,

Lisa

Thanks Roxie.
I have you guys to thank for the hair! One of the best decisions I have made. You guys do a great job. Adam

Dr. Epstein,

Thanks for checking. Tiffany took out my sutures Saturday morning.
Everything looks and feels fine. The tightness feeling around the donor area is starting to go away too, and I started with Rogaine yesterday. I am very pleased with my experience so far, and posted a message on Hairtransplantnetwork.com. I described how impressed I was with you, your work, and your entire staff. Looks like almost 200 people have viewed my message. If you would like to see what I posted, look under "Hair Restoration Discussion Forum" ,and then "Hair Transplant Experiences and Surgeon Reviews". If you scroll down under "Topic Starter", my message is listed by "Chris H." The message is titled "Great Experience with Dr.
Jeffrey Epstein in Miami."

So far everything is fine! Thank You again for checking with me!
I'll be in touch.

Sincerely, Chris

Hey Dr. Epstein I wrote to you a couple of days ago on donor scaring. I was just a little freaked out at Dr. fellers pics on hairtransplantnetwork of a good scar in the donor area he posted. Dr. Eptein it was pretty big and im glad I did not see that guy. I went back on to your website and looked at donor scars from your site and was completely comforted. Yours are incredible!!!!! But Dr. Epstein what does tight mean when you touched my donor site at thr NY Meeting, just curious since I did not ask you then.

ttyl Dennis

Dr. Epstein,

Thanks for making the hair transplant process as pleasant and as smooth as possible. My wife and I appreciated your warm and attentive staff. I am doing well and back to regular activities. We are amazed at the difference already noticeable and very optimistic about the future of my hairline.

Again, I sincerely appreciate your help. I hope you time off was enjoyable.

Regards,

Neil

Dr Epstein,

I recieved your VM on the day after my procedure, Saturday. Thank you very much for the follow up. I would also like to thank you staff, I could not have asked for more. I am scheduled to come back in 9 days for my sutures to be removed. Thanks again for everything.

Regards,

Chris B

Doign great!

The hair that was cut off for the procedure is growing back. Not all of the transplanted hair fell out and that is starting to slowly grow in. I am well aware its going to be 6-8 months before I really start seeing things, but I am very happy I had the procedure done. The scar is healing up nicely as well with no soreness. Everything is great!

I will update you as things develop.

Hope you had a great holiday and I wish you a very happy, healthy and prosperous new year!

Ryan

My name is Chris and I am a patient of Dr. Epstein. In November of 2007, I had a procedure at Dr. Epstein's office. The staff was curtious and the office was clean. During the procedure, the assistants comforted and reassured me. The evening of the operation, Dr. Epstein went so far as to call me and check if I was recovering okay. My procedure of 3,000 hair graphs is comming along nicely. I recommend Dr. Epstein and plan on going back in the fall to complete the procedure. I will update in a couple of months.

Thanks again Doc.

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I hope all is well with you. I apologize for sending pictures of my eyebrow result so late. You did my eyebrows 7 months ago. This picture show eyebrows at month 5. I apologize for not having a better picture.

 Carol MCBeth-Borws
I also attached a picture of my new granddaughter. I would like you to know that I am so excited and happy with the results. I can not tell you how confident I feel. People notice a difference, but cannot put their finger on it. You are the best. Please tell everyone I said hello. Thanks again.

Carol MCBeth

Sharon

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Happy New Year! I hope you are well and had a great trip with your children to the snow.

Thank you for all of your support and kindness during the procedure. Your dedication to your patients is very apparent and very much appreciated. Your staff is amazing! I would be happy to be a referral to any of your potential patients! Whenever you are in the bay area, please look me up -- the least I could do is buy you a drink!!

Take care,

anjum

Hello Dr. Epstein,

You performed my hair transplant surgery and prescribed propecia. I have ran out of the medication. Could you please send me another prescription with refills.
Please mail to me at:

Thank you very much, I truly appreciate it.
P.S. I love my "new" hair!

Sincerely,

David

Dear Dr. Epstein:

I am extremely happy with your work and would not hesitate to recommend it to any of my friends, the problem is that it was so well performed, that nobody noticed the change, therefore nobody is asking.

Seriously, thank you for a job well done!

Best regards

Jose R A

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I've been meaning to check in with you myself...I had been waiting for a little while until I could get a more definitive idea of how things were 'filling in' so to speak. Coincidentally enough, within just the past few days I have started to see a more obvious thickening in the graft area. I have to admit that I was (as probably are most all your patients) pretty nervous when I began to rub off the crusts and noticed the hairs falling out with the crusts...I had to reassure myself over and over that it wasn't the graft itself falling out (especially with the larger crusts!). Otherwise, I believe everything is going as expected (a few pimples in the graft area, some itching, etc.)

As far as the scar, I have my dad look at it periodically and he says that it all looks excellent. I will be sure to update you with pictures when more progress is made in the graft area as well as the donor scar.

I am definitely very happy I decided to have the procedure done, and especially so about the fact I chose to have it performed by you and your staff. You guys were awesome. Thanks again to both you and your staff!

Oh...and my apologies for my wordiness here...I have a habit of overtyping in emails!

Eric

The girls are just friends - but as far as the procedures go, I don't think you could have done a better job. Again, thank you so very much. If you happen to still have the original pictures you took of me on my first visit, it would be great to see the comparison. I hope all is well and that the NY operation is running smoothly.

Take care

Very Sincerely,

Jeff G

Doctor Epstein,

How are you doing Just a quick mail to thank you and your staff for a wonderful job last Thursday. The professionalism and hospitality of everyone I encountered made what could have been a very unpleasant experience actually quite interesting and enjoyable...perhaps a little bit too much so on Lucy's part at times...a sadistic side to her personality i had not seen before!lol! That said it made all the difference being able to make a holiday out of the trip, though we could have done with a lot more time here.

With regard to the surgery itself, one week on and everything seems to be healing up nicely. The swelling is completely gone, a lot of the scabs have lifted and the scar area is noticeably improved with each passing day. We fly out tomorrow evening ..mission accomplished and having had a great time here in Miami. I will send you on some pictures in the next few months so you can see how it all turned out. Once again, thanks for everything. I'm sure I 'll be back in a few years time for round two.

Take care

Richard

Jeff, I appreciate the time you and your staff spent with me this week. As you noted before the procedure it was definitely as pleasurable an experience as one could have under the circumstances. I am at home now and am suffering NO pain. Scalp does feel taught but no pain. I have been doing some reading on scabbing and noted that it is in ones best interest for the scabs to go away as soon as possible and that keeping moisture on them is the best method; I now better understand the reasoning behind the spray every 30 minutes. Also, Dee Ann and I went to Books and Books; she ordered the banana pancake which was by far the best I've ever eaten. I had the chef give me the recipe. I had the standard Lox and Bagel which was good as well. I look forward to hearing from you.

Paul

Dear Dr. Epstein,

First of all I would like to thank you and your staff. I felt completely comfortable during the whole process and I can now say that everything I read in the forums about you an your staff was true.

I'm back in Texas and taking it easy, as an attachment I'm sending you a couple of pictures so you can give me your opinion about my evolution.

Thank you very much for everything!

--Gabriel

Jeff,

Love the new hairline and feel great! I know it will fall out and regrow and that's fine. I can see now how it will end up and I could not be more pleased.

You are a great physician and a wonderful person and you have assembled a top notch staff. Please tell the last lady who was doing the last few implants... I think her name was Linda... that I apologize if I was a little impatient. She was the only one left in there with me and I think I kept asking her how much longer it would take... like a little kid in a car going, "Are we there yet".

I am in Miami occasionally for meetings with a business associate there and an international accountant. I'll let you know in advance when I am going to be there next and maybe we can touch base.

If you are ever in Naples, please don't hesitate to call and let me know you are coming and I'll take you out to dinner. My office info is below and my cellular # is 239- - .

Best regards,

Stuart

Hello Roxy,

I hope all is well with you, Dr. Epstein and your wonderful crew in Miami! .

As I look back two months after my procedure, I am even more impressed by Dr. Epstein's skills and the wonderful treatment provided to me by all the staff members I encountered. Thanks again. BTW, a lot of hairs are sprouting from the top of my head!

Thanks for your assistance.

Best wishes to all, John K (formerly of Tampa - now back in San Diego)

Dear Roxy,

I am back :)

I don't know if you remember me, my name Fahad A and i had a hair transplant procedure in summer of 2006.
Well now I'm interested in a second round since the first one gave me amazing results on the front half of my head. covering the crown is my goal now.
However, this time I'm really interested in knowing more about follicular unit extraction and if you guys recommend this procedure for me. i know that it is more expensive and i might require more than one session.
Would it be possible to schedule an appointment somewhere around the second week of March for the surgery (since i need to fly from Dubai)

Please send my greetings to the team and hope to see you guys very soon.

Thank you very much,

Fahad

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Wanted to express that it was my pleasure.
You guys are wonderful and the atmosphere was great - I plan on coming back at some point.
Question: How many total hairs did you get And, what was the breakdown regarding number of 1's, 2's, and 3's
Overall I guess what is your advice, gut reaction etcetera to my particular case
Again, I'm looking forward to the next year and doing follow-ups based on your advice about placement, thickness etcetera.
Very nice to meet you and your staff - all wonderful people.
Talk soon. I'll be in town through the 19th.

Sincerely,

Chris

Hi Dr. E

can't thank you and your staff enough for everything you have done for me. Susie has done an awesome job at answering my questions. I will send follow up pictures as soon as I am all done up. Thanks again.

Jenilee R

Hi Jeff,

We're back in Italy and all is well. Just a little soreness from the graft donor site while the areas that have been transplanted are healing up nicely.

Thanks again to you and your entire staff for the kindness and the professionalism. If you ever come out this way please let us know. We'll be more than happy to show you around our part of Italy. Ciao and we'll be in touch.

Giancarlo

Dr. Epstein,

My hair growth is coming in nicely. My wife and friends are amazed as am I with the results after just 4 months.

About 45 days prior to my procedure you prescribed propecia which I used daily until the 3 month supply was consumed (January '08) since then I have only been using rogaine foam applied morning and night.

Do you recommend I resume using propecia to help promote the graft growth or is it mainly to help stop additional non graft hair loss

Bradley A.

Dr Epstein,

The hairs seem to all be in place still and everything looks fine to me. So do you think they'll be fine The thing that worried me the most sleeping on my stomach and now that I'm home I'm just sleeping on the couch on my back so I don't have a chance of rolling over...

I also wanted to say that me and my father were very impressed with you and your staff in Miami. Everybody was extremely friendly and professional and I couldn't be happier with the decision I made to travel the 1000+ miles to your office. I will keep you posted on the results when they grow back in and will be sending pictures as well. Thank you so much for your help!

Derek

Roxy,

Thanks so much for getting back to me on the graft number. I'm glad to know that I received the number of grafts originally programed. More grafts means more hair! Everything has gone so smmothly during the recovery that I'm already looking forward to my next procedure that I want to have once again performed by Jeff and his staff. Please send my kindest regards to all.

Sincerly,

Giancarlo

Dr. Epstein,

I would like to thank you and your entire staff for doing such a wonderful job. It can be a little nerve racking doing something like this for the first time, but your staff was extremely professional and made me feel at home. My brow area seems to be healing just fine. The swelling has gone down drastically and bruises around the eyelid seem to be slowly disappearing as well. I can't even express how excited I am to have the procedure finished. I'm eagerly waiting for the new hairs to grow in and it's a very exiting process. It's silly to say that something so small as eyebrows can be life changing, but this couldn't be more accurate. I will keep you updated with pictures of my progression over the next few months.

Thanks again

Kirk

Dr. Epstein,

I'm back in Dubai now. everything is going great. its healing nicely and the grafts started to fall two days back. I really like what you did on my crown, the way the hair is organized/curved in a circular way. i cannot wait to see the outcome. I want to take this chance to thank you and your team for the excellent service, you guys make it seem so easy.

Thank you very much.

My son Andrew had eyebrow work done in January of 2007 and it looks great.

Hi Dr E, You are not only a great MD - I am impressed by your kindness to others.

Everything seems normal, no swelling to speak of.

Many thanks, Jonpaul.

Dr. Epstein,

Hope all is well in Miami. Tomorrow marks the 9th month (dos July 11th, 2007) since my hair transplant. I have to tell you the results are fantastic (better than I expected) and I couldn't be happier. People constantly commenting on my hair, wondering if I colored it or something is different. Anyway, one of the best decisions I've ever made and really appreciate the excellent job you did.

Thanks again.

Sincerely,

Van A

Hi Doctor how are you Im just writing to say I got back ok and the results are looking fantastic. Please thank all your staff for me Doctor especially the lady who brought me round the gatorade and soup when I had that stomach bug, her name escapes me. Hey Dr. jeff...

Its been over a year now and i am happy to say that the hair implanted looks great!!!!...i have noticed that pre-existing hair in the temple region and behind is getting a little thinner sooo...i remember you stating that i had app. 6500 total grafts to utilize...we have used app 2300 leaving about 4200 + -...i was wondering for future touchups, 3 sessions of 1400 = -{80% frontal 20% crown maybe} over the next few years to achieve a satisfactory result possible starting this fall...what are your thought on this...sincerely.

Vinnie

Hi, Dr. E!

I'm doing well, thank you. Life is good. I may be engaged shortly. To a lovely 38 year old woman. I'm 51. Can you believe it It's the hair, guy, it's the hair! You did it! You're an artist!.

I still wash my hair once or twice a week with red cider vinegar, take Propecia every other day, and spray the Rogaine every day.

Dunc.

Hi there Roxy

It's now about 9 1/2 months since I had my procedure done on 6th July 2007.

The hair growth has been great and is about 41/2 inches at the longest point. I will try to send you some pictures later for you to show Dr Epstein.

I will be in the Ft Lauderdale area May 8th to 12th and would like to visit and show Dr Epstein the results. I am thinking I may need a 2nd procedure to fill in a bit more of the bald area at the top/ back of the head.

Please advise if Dr Epstein will be available to see me on any of the above dates.

Kind Regards

Peter H

Dear Dr. Epstein

Here is an update for hair transplant surgery I had in November, 2007. I am pleased to report that the sideburns are completely grown in and growing at a normal rate; all scars are covered. The temporal areas are perfect and so natural looking. The frontal hairline is growing but at a slower rate and with some itching. Overall, I am thrilled to have a hairline that is such an improvement over the unnatural one I started with. I wish women could be warned about the drastic hairline changes that plastic surgery can inflict. Although most plastic surgeons don't practice such drastic procedures anymore, many still do and it is so disappointing for the patient. When I see Dr. Ridenour in Creve Couer, MO in May I will ask him to forward some updated photos for you. A big thank you to you and your staff for my great new hairline. I will be wearing my hair back at the beach this summer and not hiding under a hat!

Sincerely,

Connie Frazier

Hi

To be honest i browsed the internet for many weeks. I read testimonials and spoke with a couple of practices. There was one called Feller but they were rude on the phone and off hand plus i could never get to speak to him directly. When I asked to speak to Dr Epstein he called me quickly and always responds himself to e mails.

Also, Dr Epsteins qualifications are over and above most of the others. The fact that he is also a plastic surgeon speaks volumes in itself.

I have had two procedures with Dr Epstein. The first one was in 2005 which created a hairline for me. It was terrific and completely natural and real. The second one was in December 2007 and the results are now starting to show even though there are several months to go before i will see the full benefit.

I cannot recommend him highly enough. Both Dr Epstein and his team of professional assistants were great. They make you feel at ease from the beginning and Dr Epsteins artistry shows with the end result. The point is that there are many practices who now perform this procedure worldwide but I guess that equally there are many who can do the job but not paint the picture so good.

I was almost completely bald on the top- now i have a lush hairline and the second procedure which gvoes further back is going well too. Each procedure was just short of 3000 grafts.

My life has changed in many respects.
Good luck!
regards

Wayne

Have Roxy let me know your next time in NYC and I will come to see you. I really want to thank you for this past procedure. It has really changed my life, I have confidence again and feel great. No more hats, hiding from bright lights I even now use my sunroof . There are so many things that this has change for me. Thanks again to you and your great staff.

See you soon.

Hey Dr. Epstein,

Thanks so much for your concern. I feel quite well and have been following my instructions. I'd like to start doing yoga again, but I don't feel up to it just yet, maybe next week. In the past, I have had facials, IPL's and microdermabrasion, is it safe for me to have facials again Thank you again for your care and concern. My regards to your staff, what an amazing team!

Dr. Epstein

I am doing well. I am in shanghai today working a way. Still have about 25 percent of the graphs that have yet to fall out. I am excited to see what it will look like in a few months I appreciate all your kindness. You are a fantastic doc and a great guy I will send you some pictures when it starts growing in

Have a great day
D

Hi Roxy,

I just want to thank you all for my whole procedure experience. You all made me feel very comfortable; it was a pleasure having work done by true professionals. Dr Epstein and his team are truly the best, Im so so glad, that I came to you guys, i cant praise you any higher! Ill send you some photos as soon as my hair starts to grow,

God bless you,
Scott.

Dear Dr. Epstein and Roxy,

I have arrived back in Ireland and everything is going smoothly. I feel great and I have minimal swelling and have actually only used 1/2 a diuretic. Thank you for your consumate professionalism and for putting me at ease - I was more nervous that I had initially anticipated but the smiles of everyone in the office (and maybe the diazepam!) helped me to relax quickly.
I look forward to sending you pictures in a few months time. Meanwhile here is a picture of me 12 years ago when I had a full head of hair for your amusement!

Kindest regards,

Gavin

P.S. I had to fight to keep my Graftcyte when going through security at the airport. They suggested that if it had a prescription like label on with your name on, they would be more inclined to let it through...

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Thank you so much for the surgery you and your staffs performed for me. I think the hairline looks great and I can hardly feel any pain now. You and your staffs are all very nice and patient, which makes me feel much more comfortable during the surgery. That's particularly important to me since it's the first time I have a surgery. Overall, I have a very postive experience. Thank you again for all the efforts you and your staffs put into. I can't wait to see my transplanted hairs to grow!

Sincerely,
Matthew

Thanks, Roxy.

At the end of the procedure yesterday, I said out loud that it was the best experience I'd ever had in a medical setting. I'm not sure who heard me say that since I was under the influence of Ambien and Valium and was a little "zoned out", but it wasn't just the drugs talking - I really meant it! I hope that I can refer lots of patients to you and Dr. Epstein in the future.

Best regards,
Mark

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I hope this reaches you doing awesome and enjoying spring.

I'm writing to tell you that since we last met in your Florida office, in April, I've been noticing the hair growth you saw!! I'm not having to camoulflage it with scarves and headbands like I was doing even a month ago and I'm absolutely thrilled! My boyfriend, family and friends have been raving about it!

Two quick questions for you.
How long does it usually take before the follicles that 'took' are grown and in place In other words, after say 12 months, should I expect to see anymore new hairs or is the new growth 'complete' My procedure was November 19. Also, if I decide to do another procedure to fll in the blanks so to speak; what timeframe would you recommend for the next one to take place

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Lisa

Hello Doc. My new hair is growing like weeds! I'm very pleased! Thank you for providing me with such succesful procedure.

The procedure was on Nov 9th '07 is it time for a follow up appointment @ your Boca office

I hope all is well.

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Thanks for your call. I got stuck in Atlanta last night and just got home a few hours ago.
To keep my precious little grafts as safe as possible I?m staying home shirtless for the next three days.
I absolutely love what you?ve done, you are a true artist, and I?m just amazed at your skill. It is exactly what I wanted and I can?t wait to see the final result.
Please give my thanks to your staff for all their great care on Tuesday. I will definitely stay in touch and will be sending progress photos. I hope to be included in your consult room books and even on your website.

Thanks again!
Clint

I just posted my 4 1/2 month post-op pics and just stopped shaving my head a month and a half ago. I have let my hair grow in again!!! Dr. Epstein the reason I shaved my head every month since the procedure was to get breathing room for my scar and aloe was applied every other day and I wanted people to see a gradual change when I let my hair grow back out. I did where a baseball cap for 4 months and took it off periodically while I was around friends, family and others. I also wanted the short #1 buzzer cut so that the rogaine foam had nothing in its way. (Just skin)

Here is the good news!!!! Check out my pics on Hairtransplantnetwork.com under patient photo albums and read what the guys are saying about you. One kid said that I had the best hairtransplant he has ever seen!!! I did two profiles because I just posted the 4 1/2 month pics and then another Doctor was so impressed that he suggested that I do another with before and after pics. So I did the before and after pics album. Most of the great comments about you are on my 1st profile. Read them both since im sure there will be more said about you. Thanks Dr Jeff and God Bless Dennis from Boston

Hello Dr Epstein,

I wanted to thank you for all your help.I thank you for helping me make one of the most important decisions in my life and I am truely grateful.I know I have a long wait ahead but I am glad that it started off so well.I will keep you posted about my progress.
Thank you once again.

Neha.

Hello Roxy and Staff,

Just wanted to thank you and Dr. Epstein for all your expertise, great care, and artistry regarding my recent transplant procedure. My eyebrows look great and are healing nicely. Everyone is amazed at the symmetry and density of the brow lines.

The swelling has been minimal and the bruising almost non-existent. Graft and donor areas all look good, too.

Thanks in advance for any answers you might have regarding my recovery. Of course, I will send pictures regarding my progress.

Dr. Epstein, Roxy, Linda and staff are a class act!!

Marie B

Hi Roxy,

Today is Day 6 of my recovery and I just wanted to let you know that--despite my incredibly LOW tolerance for pain--my eyebrows are GORGEOUS (scabby and all!)!!! I don't know think I've ever seen such perfect brows on anyone...and now they're MINE!!

So happy!!

You have such an AMAZING group of gals there! I am so thankful for everyone's kindness and great sense of humor! Dr. Epstein is such a talented man! He really does have a unique artistic ability and eye for detail. I'm so so so happy that I found him.

You are a doll! Thank you for making me feel so comfortable and brave! I appreciate you, Roxy!

Julie

Hello Dr. Epstein,

I just wanted to thank everyone at your office and you especially for taking such good care of me and my wife. The procedure seemed to go very smoothly, and everybody made us feel very welcome. I really appreciate how comforting you and your staff were for my wife and I, and I think you have a wonderful way with your patients. Thank you so much.

I am doing well and I have been very careful with my beard. I have not touched it at all, but I really like the way it looks.

By the way, the back of my head feels fine, I hardly notice any pain there at all. Once again, I am just really glad I had the procedure done with you, I think you are an amazing doctor doing incredible things (I never would have imagined something like this was even possible.) Whenever you are back in NY please let me know if you would like to take photos of your work.

Sincerely,
Michael M

Hello Dr. Epstein

Thank you for the before photos. I needed those to see the real impact. I am 5 months 3 weeks out from Feb. 7th... My hair is about 1 1/2 long and on the left side is adequately thick. On the right I believe we covered more area and it is maybe 2/3 as thick as the right. I am very pleased thus far with the results. I pulled this off with no one except for my hairdresser knowing. I use a 3 blade and no skippers or scar showing. I must thank you very much as I am already having more comfort combing my hair differently and I can do a few different styles. It has boosted my confidence although I really didn't need that.Thank you and let me know.

I have recommended you to 3 different people. 2 of them I know will come and see you after I have shown them the results. One of them being my brother.

That original picture you took of me is terrible. I never looked at my hairline like that. I never want to go back to that.
Thanks again.

Hello dear Jeffrey,

First of all I just wanted to beg your pardon for delaying in writing you this mail. I was a few days in New York and I didn't have the possibility to write you sooner. I just wanted to thank you for very gentle and comfortable treatment. It was a pleasure to have a chance to get to know you personally. Every single person in your team was so nice that was beyond my imagination. So the treatment was perfect and professional.

I didn't have any strong pain and discomfort at all. I will send you some pictures and you will tell me how I look (though you told me three times tha I look good :-) and if you recommend me another procedure (Hope not).

I think I can never thank you enough, but you can be sure that I will remember you the rest of my life!

Take a lot of care.

I thank you very much for your Excellent treatment

Sincerely yours
Ramin

Dear Dr. and Roxy:

Just a short note to thank you for your extreme generosity, as well as your whole staff being so professional and very carrying. A rare combination in any office, and a tribute to you both. Follow up: My swollen eyes are healing nicely. Roxy, you mentioned something about needing some assistance from me, and I will do whatever I can. Please write to me when you get a chance. Talk to both of you soon,

Debbie

Dear Dr Jeffrey,

Belated Happy Birthday, hope you had a wonderful day with your family and friends.

I want to thank you and your staff for the wonderful surgery and treatment you had give me at your center, appreciate your care very much. I had reached Dallas and doing good, though feeling little uncomfortable at the stiches. Everything is going on good and looks like its healing well.

I just want to ask you if you can send the prescription for Propecia, that would be very helpful to me, forgot to ask you about it when I am there.

Thanks again for your help,
suresh.

Dr Jeff

Thought I would give you an update at just over 3 months after the procedure. Some of those new hairs that I told you had started to grow at 2 weeks have continued to grow normally, but some of them only grew to about 2 or 3 mm then stopped, only to be replaced by new properly growing hairs at about 2 and a half months - this is when the hairs in all the other sites started to show (that was a great moment). Some are just starting properly now, particularly on one side of my chest which has been slower but the hairs are now definitely coming through here too although this has been noticable just over the last 10 days. There are some others just becoming active now so it is still exciting to notice things happening as each week goes on.

So I am really happy with progress to date thankyou and will send you another update say at 6 months when I suspect all the hairs will have grown through by an even amount. I only had 1780 grafts as you know but these have made a real difference.

Thanks again. Hope all is going well out there.

Peter

Hello Dr. Epstein!

Jacen K here giving you an update. first of all as a med student I have to write you are certainly a inspiration and I am very honored to have experienced personally the wonderous and skillful work you perform on a daily basis. I am sure your work impacts many lives and improves their quality of life. I for one have a bit more confidence socially and even professionally.

My grafts are growing in nicely and NATURALLY. The latter being the emphatic word for my friends, who I have known since the 5th grade, cannot believe I can finally "grow" a beard.

However I would like to make an another appointment with you to extend my beard line a little lower to give it even more of a natural look. I would be thrilled if we can extend it a little further down and maybe a little under the jaw. If I was still in miami I would love to come in personally to show you. I would love to hear your opinion. Regardless I am thrilled with how the initial work came out, its awesome! My fondest Thanks and gratitude!!!!

Sincerely,
ccc

Dr. Epstein, Thank you so much for the superb job you did with me. I too am very happy with the outcome, and yes, I am seriously leaning toward that second procedure we talked about. Considering it'll be December before you know it, I'm going to look at my calendar for maybe early next year and figure out a good time. I will be in touch. Thank you again sir! I can't tell you how happy I am that I decided to trust this with you! All the research and articles I read praising you as one of the finest are completely accurate! God bless!

Chris H

Hello, I had a hair transplant with Dr. Epstein about 9 months ago. The result was great - I've recommended him to many people. Also, Dr. Epstein is wonderful at answering questions and easing anxiety! I was possibly interested in a second session to provide additional density to my temple hairline. How soon can a second session be performed after an initial surgery When will be the next time Dr. Epstein is in New York in order to schedule another consult Your help is very much appreciated.

Hello Dr. Epstein,

How have you been

I hope this letter find's you and your family and staff in good health and spirits. I'm contacting you to say hello and thanks for all you did me me in the past. I will never forget all you did for me and now its time for me to repay you. I spoke to at least 2 people that said they made appointments with you so I hope they did. Also I have a good friend I grew up with in New York that had some hair transplant work done in New York city. I am trying to get him to come to you for his work. I read in  one of your old news letters you had an office in New York City.

Do you still have an office in New York city
I will ask him to contact you. His name is Jeff M. I also want you to know my hair has become much more manageable and it really looks nice now. I guess all the years of combing it in the same direction has caused it to retrain and become much more manageable.
I'm sorry I don't have any real close up photos of my scalp but I will attach some of the photos I have so you can see how nice it looks. I will be 51 years old in January and I can't find words to describe how wonderful it feels to have a nice head of hair at my age. Thank you and your staff so very much for all you did for me in the past.

God bless,
William C.

Hi Jeffrey,

thanks so much and please say thanks to all your staff! Im extremely confident the results will look great, you and your staff did an excellent job! Delighted with the whole experience, was very comforting and professional! And my head feels great, minimum numbness and completely undetectable so i can get straight back to work!

Keep up the good work,
Eoin

Ps - Roxy, any irish customers want to talk,id be delighted to give my full recommendation, just give them that email address! Kind Regards, Eoin

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Greeting from Kauai, so nice to be home. Hope all is going well with you.
Sorry to have missed you in New York-was swamped with work. Attempting to do a masters in Chemistry over summer breaks is rather difficult.

I don't have to go back to the university next summer-just working on the writing the final draft. All of my lab work is done-what a relief.

Sent you some rather low quality photos.. sorry about that.

The hair transplant has been very successful. I can't even really express what a difference it has made in my life when you did the transplants. The emotional distress when I thought I would actually have no hair around my face- it seemed a progressive hair loss condition. Family and friends can't believe it when I tell them that my hair around my face is transplanted hair. So THANK YOU again and it is exciting to me that you are doing more procedures. I know your probably super busy but would look forward to a consultation (if possible) - via email or phone.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
Allison K.

Yes things are going well so far, thanks for the followup.

The procedure was done on Aug 27 and that was 4 weeks yesterday. I feel very good and the procedure was no big deal. It gets better every week.

That Toppik stuff is fantastic ! I love it, it?s an unbelievable product and so easy to use ( especially if you buy the pump applicator attachment ). The Toppik really allows the graft area to be covered up and virtually unnoticeable which really is a big deal when you go back to work and want people not to notice anything. It is the real deal, I highly recommend it.

I will keep in touch but overall things have gone well and I am very happy thus far, now I just have to wait another couple of months before the hair grows back in.

Thanks

And I must pass along one thing about your staff, they were just great, they were very professional and I could tell they were good people who enjoyed their work and really cared about doing a good job for me.

Jon,

Thanks again for your time and intimate consideration of my status quo. Just like any other male, I want to be well informed and ready for what might happen next, and know my options. You did an excellent job in covering all of my concerns and this consultation was many times more informative than my initial. Thank you so much for your time and energy. It is no surprise that you guys are considered the best in this area and you have a very reputable operation. I hope to see you guys in the future (next year). Please keep up the good work and helping those who are seeking to be better informed or seeking a change in their current look.

Trevor

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Hope this email finds you and your staff doing well.

Thanks for the follow-up, my transplanted follicles have all grown in and the resulting hairline has lowered nicely. I must say, there were a couple months of angst following the surgery, as all the hair shafts fell out, both transplanted and existing, the latter due to shock, and my initial thought was that maybe perhaps I was part of that 1-2% population whose transplants do not take. However, once the new hairs started growing back in, it was a mixture of immense relief and joy. I guess good things do come to those who wait, after all. :)

The scar in the back of my head has become less pronounced over time, which helps individuals like me with very straight and unyielding hair (e.g. Asian hair) as it is more challenging to hide the scar when the hair shaft grows at a right angle to the scalp. The numbness in the donor area is about 95% gone as well. Finally, thanks to your selection of the donor hair, there is a more even distribution of the hair texture throughout from front to back. Prior to the surgery, the hair in the front of my scalp had not only thinned and receded, but the texture of the hair had become much finer and softer compared to the hair in the mid-scalp and the back. There is now more uniformity in texture as well as distribution.

I have been continuing my daily intake of 1mg of Propecia, every now and then I take 2mg/day just to break up any homeostasis that may develop over time. What are your thoughts on doubling the intake, are there any advantages

Attached is an 'after' photo, taken as part of a photo shoot earlier this year (for my medical file only, not to be published).

Thank you again to you and your staff for a fantastic hair transplant experience; please give Roxy, Jen and Linda my regards. I am very pleased with the results!

Be well,
Hak C

Hey good morning Dr. Frankenstein.

The new body parts are coming along rather nice. Yeah, im done with Hawaii. In Westchester now...
I think overall, lookin great. I think we kinda talked about a second procedure to fine tune things up. I eventually want to get hairline tighter and a bit lower and more in the temple area.. But of course, lets wait and see what this looks like after a solid year and how my finances are doing. I'm going to make an appt. to come in for a brief consult, think its the 23rd 24th of Oct. you're around in new york.. Wanted also to talk about getting rid of some fat under chin area. Here are some pics

Thank you.

I been taking detail looks at the work done , it's amazing ! thank you. I can't wait for it to grow in length.

Dear Jeff,

It was good to see you a few weeks ago in NYC.I want to follow up with you on what we talked about when I saw you, and I mean for this e-mail to be read only by you.
I'm so pleased with the results of my procedure -- I feel like it achieved about 75% of what I hoped could be done, and I realize that there's no way we could have achieved 100% in one session, given how long it took! As you know, I've been considering a second procedure, to finish that last 25%, which would be mostly on the abdominal and upper pubic area (and maybe to fill in some of thesparserareas on the chest). The attached photo shows the result I would be going for. I guess I'm asking you for your honest professional opinion about whether you think it would be OK to do it or whether you would advise against it.
In NYC, you said that to do that work would be about 1,500 grafts, but we never discussed the price. Could you have Roxy get back to me about that
I also want to tell you that I really appreciate how during this past year, particularly during those months that I was having all those annoying dermatological aftershocks, you were always available to answer questions and to give your medical assistance. Thank you for that.

All the best,
I

The lady who cuts my hair was very impressed with the lack of scarring on the donor site and she said it looks fuller in the front. She said that she has seen some of her customers butchered from procedures like this. In fact, I've talked with Greg Jr, Greg Sr and Nicki (Greg Jr?s sister) many times about your services and they would probably be a good referral agent for you guys, especially since Nicki was so impressed with your work.

Hi Roxy -

How are you It's been a little over four months since my procedure with Dr. Epstein, and I'm very happy with the results so far. It took about three months to see much progress, but in this last month - wow - it's really filled in! I almost can't believe that it's worked so well. I've attached a "before/after" picture for you.

I believe that Dr. Epstein said I should wait several months before considering any further transplants. Is that correct And is it unusual for a patient to return for a second procedure

Hope you're doing well, and I'll look forward to hearing from you.

Mark

P.S. Yes, my lips are a little bigger. I'm done with them, though - I swear! :)

Dear Roxy,

Thanks for your email.
I'm doing well even if financial markets are really bad.
My hairs look growing and I'm looking forward to seeing my head with the new hairs!

Thanks again to all team

My best regards
Luigi

P.S. I think I have a couple of good prospect clients for Dr. Epstein. They are not psycologically ready and I keep you posted on further development.

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I hope this e-mail reaches you doing great! I'm doing very well and enjoying my new hair immensely.
I'm interested in getting a second procedure done, to kind of fill in the blanks and thicken things up a bit. What are your thoughts
Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Lisa

Dr Epstein,

My eyebrows have started miraculously to grow back, or, most likely, due to your great surgery, the right one especially has filled out considerably. I still have a gap in the left one, but I think this will hopefully also fill in with time.

Thanks and best regards
Anita

Dr. Jeff

This procedure accomplished exactly what I was after, and changed my life for the better. I love it, and think it's perfect.

I could tell you how much this has done for my self-confidence but then I imagine you knew that would happen. What a lucky guy you are to have such an impact on so many lives. Thanks again to you and your staff for the kindness and the extra effort they all made. I never once felt uncomfortable and for me that's saying a lot.

J

Dr Epstein

I just wanted to ask you to pass my sincere thanks on to all the girls at your surgery for how well they treated me before, during and after my procedure. It was something that I was nervous, anxious and slightly embarassed about embarking on but they put me totally at ease and made the experience as tolerable as possible.

Kind regards
Dan

Hi Jon,

I'm doing well. I really like my new eyebrow though I realize I'm still in a transition phase as some of the hairs will fall out and then regrow in a few months. I will be very happy if my new eyebrow looks like it does now. I still have some mild redness and crustiness where the new hairs were transplanted but that seems to get better each day. My wife who has been checking the scar says it looks like it is healing well. I want to thank you, Dr. Epstein and the whole staff for assisting me in this endeavor and for treating me so well at the office. I also want to add that the accommodations at the Hampton Inn were quite nice as were the people there and would recommend staying there to any of your future patients. Thanks again for everything and I will certainly keep you up to date with my progress.

Scott T

Thanks for the followup.

Things are going good so far. It has been 2 months + 2 days since I had the surgery.
I see a little bit of hair starting to grow back but its still early, the hair should start in a month or so is what I think will happen from earlier info I was given.
The fact that the old plugs are gone is just fantastic, I could not be happier about that. I just look normal again, no stares from people ( that was embarrassing and awkward ).
The browlift was a great idea, really like what that did, in fact someone in my office said that I look way younger now, like I had a facelift or something ( I did not tell them about my procedure ).
The scar from the browlift is fading nicely, still slightly noticeable but it is fading, someday next year I will return to have Dr. Epstein coverup the scar with a hairline.
I am super happy that I hooked up with Dr. Epstein and your staff, couldnt have picked a better surgeon to fix the plugs, I look forward to the hair growing in soon so that I can appreciate the Docs good work.
Also, I love the Toppik product, I never heard of it before, its fantastic, I love this stuff. The only thing is that you really need the pump applicator vs shaking the stuff onto your head. It really hides the hair loss that I experienced from the procedure.
I had a great experience from all the staff in your office, especially those people who worked on me during the procedure.

Keep in touch.
Thank you

Everything is fine.. Love what the doctor did. Might be back for round three in the future. Tell Dr. Epstein I said Hello.

Charlie

Jeff,

Thanks for your call last night.
I am doing quite well and actually am at work today. I wanted to tell you that the scar feels much different/better than those I have had in the past. As you are well aware this is the most uncomfortable part of the procedure. Not only does it not hurt as much it is a much cleaner scar. I am also very pleased with the operation in general as it looks like you got some very good coverage.
I also wanted to thank not only you but also your staff. They were all very professional, caring and helpful.
I will see you next Friday when I come in to have my sutures removed.

Thanks again,
Roger T

Dr. Epstein,

I'm ready to come in again for another procedure. We did my first visit about two years ago about 2500 grafts I believe.

I want to have my hairline lowered more and talk with you about other options. I would like to use up all of my remaining grafts available on this last and final visit. I have a great donor area so I could use up the maximum allowed grafts that you would be able to go.

I would preferably like to do this procedure sometime in February of next year if that would work with your schedule? I now live in Salt lake City, UT and would be flying into your Miami office.

Appreciate your great work and look forward to seeing you and your wonderful staff again.

Sincerely
Spencer M

Hi Roxy!

It's been two weeks since my surgery and everything seems to be fine. Only a few of the new implanted hairs have fallen so far. It was good to get back home and have a chance to rest for a few days. Once again, I want to thank Dr. Epstein and all his team for the incredible way you've treated me. I'll keep in touch.

Rui

Hi Maureen,

Thanks for your e-mail. I'm not living around London but further north in Scotland. Actually I did meet Dr Epstein in November last year and did my hair transplant in Miami. I flew there during my vacation in the States. Its been a year now and my beard, goatee and also chest hair grow naturally. Please send my gratitudeness to Dr Epstein.

Regards,
Nik

Just wanted to let you know i'm extremely pleased with the results of my chest hair transplant procedure. I got exactly what i want. You're amazing. I will try to snap some photos and send to you of the results. Have a great holiday season.

Please let me know if I can ever offer a excellent reference for you to someone in the area.

After multiple hair procedures over the course of 30 years (all of which had little success) I am just simply astonished at the outcome of this procedure.  As you may know, the transplant site is heavily scarred.  I had been told the reason for my past transplantation failures were due to the heavy scarring, but Dr. Epstein was undeterred by this.  The result is one I have been seeking for three decades, and I am grateful.

Although it is still thin, and I dress the area with cosmetics to give it a fuller appearance, I no longer need to glue a prosthetic over the bald areas.  This alone saves me about a half an hour in the morning.

Have a great New Year.

by the way Dr. Jeff:

I also thought the result from the 1st procedure was great.  It's amazing when comparing the pics!  I especially like the way it turned out.  I'm looking forward to the thickening appearance of that side after the 2nd procedure grafts grow in and the hair returns.

take care...
Dave

Hi Roxy,

Thanks for following up!  So far, so good.  The scabs haven't started to come off yet, but it looks great so far.  I'm trying to be extremely careful.  I'm immensely grateful to Dr. Epstein and your entire staff for doing such an amazing job and offering me some new hope.  Everyone was wonderful to work with.  I'm really excited to see how the new hairs come in in a few months.  I'll keep you posted.

Thanks a million!
Danielle

Hi Dr. E and Aaron

Just thought I'd touch base since my procedure 8 weeks today (2nd December 2008)

Everything seems to be going to plan.

Most of the grafts fell out around the 3-4 week stage; I would say that 5-10% are still in.

I didn't experience any redness in the recipient area after the first couple of days and also the numbness wore off very quickly - which was great news!

Nobody could tell I had anything done when I returned home.

In the donor area the scar seems to of healed well, I haven't looked at it too often, it does feel a little raised hard and bumpy to touch in parts, but this isn't a problem and is to be expected.

Overall I am very happy with the way the procedure went and the care and support I received from yourself and staff.

I'm just looking forward and anxious now to start seeing new growth in the next few months :)

Many thanks and best regards,
P.

Dear Jeffrey-

I hope all is well with you. I tried to call you but you were out of town. And I just always seem to be too busy to compose a letter. My eyebrows did turn out nice. I was nervous at first because they looked so weird in the first week & then I had no idea that there was even the possibility of additional healing time. Anyway they do look quite natural & they have given me more confidence to look someone in the eye without thinking they are staring at my eyebrows. Also it has saved me a lot of time trying to apply makeup that did not really look very natural. it is nice to know that I can come out of the water & not have to run & try to apply makeup (I do a lot of water sports & this was always one of my biggest worries).

Thank you again sincerely,
M.

Wanted to thank you and your wonderful staff for taking great care of me last week.  I'll update you with pics once the hair starts growing in.

Take care and talk soon,
Ben H

Jon:

I will probably go in to get the crown filled in next.  I have been very happy with the results thus far.  I am using the Topik and the Rogaine right now to help cover and speed up the hair growth.  Everyone that has seen me says I have taken about 10 years off.  I am really glad I came to see you guys and can't wait to see myself six months from now.  If you need any endorsements or anything like that you let me know.  Your staff is absolutely top notch and I loved dealing with Doc (Dr. Epstein).  He is really cool and I can tell he is an artist with what he does.  I will come in and see you guys when I am in town so you can let me know if things are looking ok.  Say hi to Doc for me :).

Take care,
Bob T

Hi,

I wanted to tell you all about my experience with facial hair transplants for eyebrows and beard. I am from the UK and saw Dr Epstiens website, Foundhair.com.

The website seemed very well put together and I was impressed with the before and after photos of the beard and eyebrow implants. I started to email Dr Epstein about the procedure. Unlike a lot of doctors Dr Epstien replys to all emails himself which I felt was a very big bonus. After giving the matter alot of thought I decided to go ahead with the procedure. I was quite nervous enitially about travelling to America and having the procedure but felt reassured by the professionalism of Dr Epstien and his staff.

The surgery went fine and the next day to be honest there was not really much pain. After about a week and a half the hairs started to fall out. I shaved the hairs with a beard trimmer to make it look less noticable I'd had any thing done. As I was told the hairs started to grow back after about 2 months.

I have to say initially I was skeptical as to weather this treatment would work or weather it would look a bit fake but I have to say that the result has been amazing. To this day people in England do not know i ve had anything done. Some people made comments about the fact that I had more facial hair but it looks so natural you would never guess it was a transplant. I use a beard trimmer on it and keep it quite short which I feel suits me best.

The eyebrows are also a success and with a bit of simple trimming and some eyebrow gel look really good. I cannot recommed Dr Epstien and his team enough. Since this operation I have used him for various other surgeries (like rhinoplasty and facial liposuction) and have been very happy with the results and the service provided. Even if you are feeling unsure about something having had the surgery the after care that is offered is second to none and Dr Epstien will continue to answer any questions you may have.

I would recommend him to anyone looking for this type of surgery and feel that his reputation for being the best in his field is truly justified.

Roxy,

Just wanted to drop you a quick note..... I still can't believe how well my hair is coming in.  Even at 6.5 months, it has exceeded my expectations.  My mother-in-law who knew I had the procedure has been out of town for ~ 1.5 months... when she came back this week, all she could say was "wow".

I will be back in April from my upcoming deployment to Okinawa Japan and I definitely would like to be on the reference call list for Dr. E.  I already have my line.... Dr. E is a "doctor's doctor"..... how's that for a starter!!!!

Take care and be in touch.

Dear Dr. Epstein;

Bonjour!!! Comment ca va? J'espere que tout va bien...

It was a pleasure meeting you this past week. I wanted to touch base with you to thank you for everything and thank your staff for being so nice. Everyone I met was very nice and friendly and this definitely makes the experience more enjoyable. I am confident that my results will be amazing in your capable hands. You are truly the expert in the field, amazing, and nice. I am sure as the new hair grows, I am going to be pleased with the results and feel better.

Thank you again. I hope to see you again. I come often to Miami area (actually, I have been thinking of moving there when I find an academic pediatric position). If you ever in the Tampa area, look me up for sure.

A bientot!!
Sincerely;
R G

Dear Dr. Epstein,

I want to thank you again for the wonderful work and exceptional service that you and your practice staff with which we were provided during Rani and my procedure.

The warmth and professionalism made the experience far from nerve-wrecking, but pleasurable, and your staff is wonderful.

Thank you for bearing with me, I tend to be a bit anal and very detail-oreinted, which I am sure you appreciate.

I will be in touch with you soon regarding the scar procedure, which I assume will be in April or May, based on my work schedule.

Once again, many thanks to you and your staff.

Regards,
Simon

Hi Jeff,

Hope you're well, and that you have good ultimate frisbe weather!
I thought you might like to see how great this looks- I cant believe it!
all my best regards, and thanks to you and your fabulous office.

Craig says hi, as well.
;)

First off I would really like to thank you for taking the time to see to me. I found the experience to be very comfortable and very professional. I have seen many doctors over a ten year span and can easily say that my short visit to your office and with Dr. Epstein was by far the most pleasant that I have had. I left with complete confidence in Dr. Epstein and really enjoyed our conversation. I credit your office, your staff, and of course Dr. Epstein's ability to make a future patient feel so at ease.

Thank you.
-V-

I hope you're having a great day. I know I am! I e-mailed Jon earlier- he gave me a lot of information in that regard. (He's always so thorough - I like that!)

At any rate, Dr., I just want to let YOU know that I am incredibly pleased with your work and artistry. You, Jon and your staff were a delight from beginning to end. The procedure was painless, even fun, and here I am two days later looking at what promises to be a great head of hair. Thank you so much! I've already recommended you to a couple of friends who inquired about the procedure when they found out that I was getting a transplant through my facebook site.

I will send photos as soon as I can. And I'll see you in a few weeks to have my sutures removed.

Once again, thank you so much for everything you did for me. I am very, very appreciative!

Sincerely,
Nicky

Dr Epstein,

Just wanted to say that things are going great after myprocedure. April 8 will be 3 month.  Hair is begining to grow, scar, whatscar!  I also have been able to cut my hair down to a 3 guard.  Awesome work.

Ron

Good Morning Jon,

I had a great experience at Dr. Epstein's Foundation for Hair Restoration in Miami on March 19, 2009.  This was my second procedure.  Once again, Dr. Epstein and his staff did a wonderful job.  They were totally focused on my comfort throughout the procedure and the positive environment in the office helped make the time go by quickly.  Dr. Epstein's technical and artistic talents are unparalleled, as evidenced by the totally natural results of my first procedure.  He has done an impressive job of hiring and training his staff.  Everyone I encountered was capable, professional and friendly.  I can enthusiastically recommend Dr. Epstein and his team to anyone contemplating a hair restoration procedure.

Thanks for everything.

Yours truly,
John

Hey Dr. Epstein,

I just wanted to drop you a quick thank you. You are a true professional, employ a wonderful staff, and have a bed-side manner that is very comforting for the patient in the chair. I am now playing the "hurry-up and wait" game and if the outcome is anything like the experience so far, I will be the clear cut winner. I laughed as you gave your opinion of me being the "poster-child" because I didn't know exactly how to take the comment. Because of your skill I didn't know if you said that to everyone or if it was just a every-so-often comment from you but it really made me feel confident that things will turn out ok. Again, I really appreciate everything that you and your staff have done for me and I will keep you posted on the progression of growth. Thanks!

Brian B

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I wanted to thank you for your warm manner and level of professionalism in our dealings. You have a great "bedside manner" and you are on the top of my list for any plastic or hair restoration inquires. I was also very impressed at your level of integrity when you informed me I was due a refund. That in my mind represents the highest level of professional behavior. You didn't have to even disclose that but you are a man of honor! You earned some karma there.

Sincerely,
Len Z

It's been a week so I'm not sure what's normal I guess as far as after the procedure. The procedure went pretty good. I'm especially thankful for Lisa but everyone was very nice. I know I lost some grafts the first couple of days but assume that happens. I've been overly cautious this week. I've slept in a lazyboy to make sure I stay on my back at night, and I've kept the area totally dry until this morning when I finally showered. So hopefully most of the hairs are going to be ok. It's hard to express or explain how important this has been to me. I don't know if anyone can understand fully but wanted you to know how grateful I am. Thank you again. I'll stay in touch and send pics when I'm hairy. lol

Dave D.

There coming in and it looks awesome!

Thank you so much Dr. Epstein.

Dear Dr. Epstein,

It was a pleasure to meet you and your staff on Friday.

Thank you so much for a first-rate, professional procedure, and please convey my gratitude to your staff who were meticulous and very kind. I'll keep you updated on my progress and will forward you images of the grafts in several months.

Jon, thanks for answering the many questions and emails about the process.

Sincerely,
Ron

Dear Roxy!!

I just wanted to share the lastest photo with you. While I could see hair growing in May of last year, and this was fine, it really took until May of 2009 to see the full results. I think you will notice as well the difference between September 08 and May 09.

I am very pleased. I guess that every patient's hair grows at a different rate. I think that between September 08 when you and Dr. Epstein saw me and now there has been considerable growth.
I wanted to share this good result with you.

Yours
Stephen

Hi Maureen,

Thanks for the support. I guess I will see you in about 9 months when I meet with Dr. Epstein for my follow up appointment. I know my hair will grow slow (my hair grows about 1/3 of an inch a month) but I am so happy it's over and that Dr. Epstein gave me the opportunity to be more self-confident, prettier, and able to do many activities that I wouldn't feel comfortable doing otherwise (rainy days, swimming, going out in windy days..and activities such as- roller coasters, bungee jumping, sky-diving..being able to finally open up completely to a guy and feel that he won't judge/reject me..once my hair finallymgrows in).

I feel like most of the weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I can't wait to see the results! (your'e more than welcome to forward this to Dr. Epstein if you would like).

Sincerely,
Emma L

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Thanks, I had a good trip back and I had a really good experience at your office in Miami. Everybody was so nice and did a great job! It feels tight in the donor area. I dont know if this is to be expected and if I just should give it some time?

Besides that Im just excited for my new hair to grow out and I hope that it will be dense. Again, thank you so much! I will keep in touch and let you know how it goes.

Best wishes,
Malene
