Patient from Norway

Dear Dr. Epstein and Jon,

Just to let you know, what a transformation I've seen in only 4 weeks, can hardly believe it. Within days of writing to you last time I felt a lot of short spiky hair coming through 'en masse', and I've actually developed a new hairline. Of course still some way to go but am optimsitic this is going to be great.

Best regards,
David

My name is Melanie, and I am writing to share my experiences having hair follicle grafting with Dr. Jeffrey Epstein, in Miami, Florida.  I do not know how long this writing will turn out, but I will promise you all several things:

  • My hair loss has caused me to cry a lot over the years
  • Dr. Epstein and his staff treated me with compassion bordering on love
  • Dr. Epstein’s work looks so amazingly natural that NO ONE can tell that I have had follicle grafting, even after I choose to share it with people
  • And finally, I will cry as I write this (in fact, the tears have already started, making it harder to see the stupid keyboard!)

I am a 43 year old woman, with an endocrine issue, which has lead to fluctuations in my hormones.  In my 30’s, I began to lose hair in the corners of my hair line, and it also began to recede.  I have spoken with other women about this, and it is so devastating.  People tell me that I’m pretty, but that is hard to see when I see my scalp.  I’ve gotten really good at styling my hair to minimize the effects of the hair loss, but even that has limitations:  When I put my hair in a ponytail, I have to be very careful to place my hair just right so the thinness is not apparent.  I live in Florida and I can’t go swimming, because when thin hair gets wet, the loss is really obvious.

This is Florida, and there are countless doctors performing surgeries of all kinds.  And even among those who specialize in hair replacement, every skill level is represented down here.  I wanted a surgeon who not only had a lot of experience, but who specifically had a lot of experience working on women.  Dr. Epstein came highly referred by two other top plastic surgeons, and thus, in the spring of 2006, I had a consultation with him—at the same time I met Roxy, Dr. Epstein’s office manager; this woman defines the word “love.”  Dr. Epstein asked me what my goals were with respect to my hair restoration, and through my tears, I said to put my hair in a ponytail again, to be normal.  I think that it was then that he hugged me and said that WE’D get there.

In May of 2006, I had my first surgery, in which Dr. Epstein did about 1,950 grafts.  Long story short, the days of plugs are OVER!  He removed a strip of scalp from the area of the back of my head with really think hair density (by the way, it is nearly impossible to find the “donor area” once it healed!), and then his technicians removed the skin from each follicle using really cool microscopes.  His staff are ALL professionals.

Once the follicles are prepared, Dr. Epstein uses tools that he designed himself to make tiny incisions into which the follicles (in groupings according to what looks the most natural) are placed.  The whole process is nearly a miracle.

Fast forward a year, and I saw Dr. Epstein again, who felt that a touch up would be in order, and that really helped.

However three years later, I’d had some more loss, and on Friday, July 30, I met with Dr. Epstein and Roxy again, and we decided to do about another 1,150 to really thicken the areas which were the worst.  Surgery was Wednesday, August 18, and I just can’t wait until the follicles begin doing their thing (when they are first moved from the back of the head to the front of the head, they enter a temporary resting stage).  I will be 44 in December; what a beautiful present to be able to see greater hair density for my birthday…and beyond.

I am very choosy as to whom I share this aspect of my life.  IT IS EMOTIONALLY PAINFUL.  Yet when I do, and as I mentioned earlier, because of Dr. Epstein’s beautifully natural-looking work, even when I tell people, they are astonished; every graft simply looks natural.

Finally a few words about Dr. Epstein and his staff, but on a personal level:  The other day I thanked Dr. Epstein for becoming a doctor, for this is what I believe he is best suited for in life.  He has so very much added to my quality of life; in truth, I cannot thank him enough.  Roxy, heart is only surpassed by her AMAZING ability to color coordinate; I love her.

To the staff Cindy, Susie, Peggy, Linda and Candy (and to those whose names I have forgotten, pleased forgive me!!!), you too are all amazing.

To put this all together in a neat little bow, God bless Dr. Epstein and his staff.  My thinning hair was not only treated by one of the top hair restoration surgeons (and his staff) in the world, but on top of that I was treated with love, respect and compassion.

With deepest gratitude and affection,

Melanie

Hi Doc,

I just wanted to thank you for the extra time and attention while I was visiting Florida. You earn my trust more each time I meet you and work with you and your staff. The punch holes are healing nicely so far. How long before I should see the Kenalog working?

Thanks again,
Brad C

Dr. Eptstein,

Just a quick note to thank you again for everything yesterday. I'm home now and everthing seems to be going well, will keep you updated. Everyone I met at your office was so helpful and nice, I can't imagine a better group of people to work with. big hugs to all of you.

Dave D

Hello, Roxy & Dr. Epstein!

Just wanted to give you a little update on my hairline advancement, also known as the procedure that changed my life! it's been 6 months and all I can say is WOW! It's growing in very nicely...in some patches but I concur that's totally normal.

THANKS AGAIN!
L.R

Dear Dr. Epstein:

I just wanted to send a not to thank you, Ed, and everyone else at the clinic for my making my procedure such a positive and seamless experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I really appreciated it.

At this point I'm looking forward to planning for one more new procedure within the next year or so, so I'll be in touch about that.

Again, thank you very much for everything.

Muchos saludos a todos,
Joe

Hi Jon, its so nice to hear from you. The procedure went so well and I am so greatful to you, Dr. Epstein, and your entire staff. I felt so completely comfortable and so welcomed by everyone. As far as my expectations, your office exceeded those by millions. I am so pleased at the results thus far I can only imagine weeks from now. I want to thank you all for everything you have done for me, you can not even see the tattos anymore and that is what I was looking for.

Thank you again!!!!
You guys are awesome!!!!!

Hi Dr. E!

I hope things are going well for you and your practice. I just wanted to send you a photo of my son, Josh. He is now four months old. Once you put hair on my head, I apparently looked so much younger I was able to marry a younger woman! What a blast! I am a very fortunate person, Dr. E. What happiness you bring others. Live long and prosper.

Dunc.

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I come to you 3 weeks after my hair procedure with good news. The suture line is healing well and the first absorbable sutures begun to fall yesterday. I can fill some tickling at the graft area since 1 week, especially after a hair washing, but I think that is normal. My first hair cut was last Saturday, I hope not too early.

I will begin with applying Rogaine in the next days and I have 1 question. Is this solution only for the crown area or I have to apply it on the whole of my head?

Again, thank you for all, for the good job, your professionalism and congratulation at your team. You can be sure that I will come back in the future for the area that we can't fill up the same day.

Best regards from Switzerland
Jérome

Jon - I appreciate your e-mail and I apologize for a delayed reply. I have been traveling and just had forgotten to take the time to reply to your inquiry. I would say I have made good progress. I would have to say that all the implants did not come out & that I had initial growth sooner than I had anticipated. I use the Toppix and it is helpful in havinga fuller looking & thicker appearing hair coverage.

Also, other than the ones I have told that I had the procedure done, I have had no one ask if I did have something done or to comment on the procedure or results, so I would say it is very natural and looks good. The lady that cuts my hair has experience with her business partner having the procedure done three time & she thinks I have a far better outcome and a much less noticeable procedure. She thinks the growth is great and that the lines where the implants were taken from have healed very well.

I do plan to go down that way some time in the autumn and I will plan to call and stop by the office so you, Dr. Epstein, and the team can see the results after the first year.

Please extend my regards to Dr. Epstein and all of the office staff. I consider the process a very good experience & I think Dr. Epstein is beyond awesome. I actually did some onboarding with & spoke to a guy that is new at our company yesterday and he wanted Dr. Epstein's contact information for a referral to a friend of his bcak in the Boston area.

Again. my thanks to all,
Harry G

Dear Dr Epstein

I have recently met Monica P who had a hairline lowering procedure with you in 2007; she lives in London and we could meet up. It was great to see her and to listen to a real story - and i was surprised because i didn't expect such a good result. I think the density is almost perfect in her transplanted area and it looks so natural even though she only had one procedure. The scar is almost invisible and i am impressed now simply because i don't tend to trust photos on websites and would question everything coming my way but now i have to admit that you did achieve something so good with her hairline.

Monica is very happy with the result and with her new hairline and it is great to see a patient who is so happy with the result. I still have an appointment booked with Dr Bessam Farjo in London in November 2010 - he has such a long waiting list that i could only book an appointment for a consultation at that time. I would like to hear his opinion as well before embarking on the surgery.

There is no other UK based hair transplant surgeon whom i would consider and I will get back to you when i decide. Thank you

Best wishes
G

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I just wanted to say thank you to you and your team for treating me with the utmost care.

I really appreciate you talking me through everything and making me feel comfortable.

I will come by when you are in NY so you can take a look at my head, since I will be moving to Arizona August 1.

Thank you again!
Alex

Hello Dr. Epstein,

Just a brief note to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and your staff for the warm, friendly, embracing professionalism shown to me and my husband during our visit to both your Miami and New York locations for the hairline advancement procedure and most recently, the hair transplant procedure.

The chemical burns I suffered to my hairline was really a bad experience coupled with my lack of knowledge regarding hair, automatically assuming that it would grow back, I waited several years, trying a lot of different products, to no avail. I came across your web-site and compared your information to others in the New York area and was very impressed by what I learned from your web-site.

After meeting you, your down to earth personality along with the passion that exuberates from you as a result of your profession, you had my total trust. It was obvious to me that you are a perfectionist in your craft, and who can ask for anything more? I too am a perfectionist. Therefore, it was easy for me to pick up on that character in you.

Again, thank you and I look forward to our next meeting. I do plan to return for you to get after photographs.

With warm regards,
Linda

Jeff

You know as much, if not more about FUE than anyone else in the field. The fact is, hair transplantation is a very specialized skill that can not be learned over night. The NeoGraft® machine doesn't do the transplant, the surgeon and his team are responsible for the outcome.

That's the point I'm trying to drive home and I think you're in a perfect position to discuss this point.

Your credentials don't hurt either:)

Thank you Dr. Epstein and your staff I had my procedure 11 days ago and things seem to be well. So far my experience pretty much has gone as outlined in post op instructions given to me. I have some minor pimple on scalp crust started coming off 6-8 days slight redness almost totally gone. I guess now I just wait.

Question I have is can I resume normal hair care 12 days out?

Thanks
Ron

Dr Epstein,

Thanks and kudos to you and your crew for reconstituting my mane.

Glenn

Hi Jon, I am doing very well.

I came to work on Monday and other than a little discomfort i am doing quite well. I would do it again in a heart beat. Yes, my expectations were exceeded. I loved the whole atmosphere in the office and felt very comfortable. I felt very cared for.

The girls who assisted were wonderful as well

Hi,

I want to thank you so much for making this possible for me!!! I am sooo excited and happy, love it!! Cant wait for the new hair to start growing,

You are soo professional and nice, and your staff are great and sweet.

Thank you again
Elizabeth

Dr. Epstein,

You are known as a world-renowned surgeon in hair transplantation. Still, you answered my email not only personally, but late at night, almost instantly. That kind of dedication and professionalism shows the kind of loyalty you have for your patients. That is impressive. I hate to bother you but I have just a couple other questions. I figured, going into this, that eighteen was too young. If you would, could you explain to me why? Is it because it is too risky, or just too early? If it is too early could you please explain why.

Thank you again for your time,
Braxton B

Hey Dan

Dr Epstein and his staff more than exceeded my expectations in so many ways. They were extremely professional and personable. That was/is extremely important to me. It was evident that Dr Epstein is a leading expert in his field by his recommendations and suggestions on how my procedure should turn out. Our initial consultation was brief yet I felt very confident in Dr Esptein's understanding of my needs and expectations. I barely had to say and word. It was as if he knew exactly what I wanted.

Words really can't describe how happy I am with the result of the procedure.I immediately took pictures when I got back to my hotel because I was so excited to show it off. Most of my friends were quite skeptical about this and tried to talk me out of it. But after seeing the pictures I sent them , they understood and was just as happy as I am with how it turned out.

Lastly, I also want to thank you for your help through this process. You were knowledgeable and extremely responsive to my calls and emails.

I will definitely keep yours and Dr Epstein's information because I know people are going to ask and inquire about how they can get the same procedure.

Respectfully
Adam

Dan,

I'm so glad you emailed past patients! I've always meant to write to tell the Dr. how pleased I am with my procedure. Although small in relation to the scope of the Foundations work, my Eyebrow transplant has been life changing for me. I still "fuss" over them like I used to only instead of drawing, painting and tattooing, I brush, trim and mostly admire them. My hair is starting to thin now. I'll definitely consider the Foundation when deciding how best to deal with this problem. Please keep me on your mailing list !

Thanks,
Lori

Hi Dan,

Thanks for checking in. Valntin is doing great. He is back to normal and looking forward to playing outside soon. We are keeping an eye on him and following the post surgery intructions. He had a lot of good thig to say about Dr. Estein and the staff. You guys exceeded our expectations and I was pleased to know that he was in the best hands. Thank you.

hey roxy!

just wanted to send an updated photo of my procedure. it's been 3 months and so far i am very happy with my results. i am already feeling a lot more confident, thanks to dr. epstein and staff. can't wait to see what to looks like in 3 more months!

lissette

Big Man Ed, When you coming down to the island to check out my resort? www.solisthepalmyra.com as for my results i'm very happy with what I now see, overall it looks good and I'm pleased.

Tell Doc that I said nice Job!
L

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Thanks to you and your staff for everything. Despite the long travels and the first night post-op sleep, it was a fun experience in a weird kind of way, if that makes any sense.

Have a good weekend and say hi to the ladies for me. BTW, I had sushi at the Target Mall... was pretty good... thanks for the tip. Also, let me know if Suzy relayed my ideas I gave her about additions that might be helpful to the your website.

Lastly, I really appreciate everything, Dr. Epstein and although some might feel that doing this might be frivolous and vain, these people most likely have all of their hair. You really change people's lives and all I want now, is to fall into that category! I don't think this email fits into your long catalog of glowing testimonials, but trust me, when the results are in, in a few months time, you'll get one from me that will be worthy of Page 1!!!

Patient from Switzerland

Hey Dr. E!

Everything seems to be going wonderfully! The stitches have all disappeared and the transplanted hair is falling out as planned. I really kind of want to use a lint roller and try and get the last few hold outs off, but thats probably not a good idea. :) The redness up front is pretty much gone as well, and I have been using the rogaine daily per the post op instructions.

I've attached a couple photos from last night for your review. I have been taking a picture a day in three standard positions so I can put together a time lapse video over the course of the next 6 months to a year.

I have had to see a couple other doctors since for other things, and I mentioned to both that you performed the surgery. They not only knew who you were, but were excited to get to see your work. One even took photos of my hairline, amazed at how perfectly natural it looked. So far, money well spent!! I've gotten many positive responses from my coworkers as well. None of them knew that the technology and techniques had come this far, and commented that it was flawless. They are just as curious as I am to see it growing back in! :)

Saw you operated on my friend Jewel as well, hope that went well. She seemed rather pleased when I spoke to her today!

You are the first doctor I look forward to having to come back and see. Now I just have to find something to improve.... Hey Ed! How's that lower body lift quote? :) Not sure if there is anything wrong with my face, but I am open to suggestions. :)

Anyway, off to bed for me. Launched one new rocket today, and have a shuttle next week.

Thanks for checking in!
Calvin

PS - I have a really good review in the works that I should be finishing up this coming weekend. As soon as its done, I'll email it to both you and Ed.

Thank you Dr. Epstein, for giving me beauty again, your talent, your wisdom, and great hands are a blessing to all women who need it.

I look forward in seeing you again on the 17th, I was not sure I sent my e-mail correctly to you, so I sent another one to Dan for you.

Many Blessings,
Joy

Dr. Epstein,

I wanted to thank you again for everything! I already see a great improvement. I really enjoyed the nurses as well, and my overall expereince was awesome! Thank you so much for being so sensitive to my situation and putting your all into trying to correct what was done so awful.

I can't thank you enough and I can't wait to see the results. And I will look forward to seeing you again in 10 months for a final go around.

My sincere thanks!
Danny

Hey Dr. Epstein! It's Calvin. You just did my transplant today, and it is absolutely amazing! Anyone who is thinking about having Dr. Epstein perform any procedure for you, I can personally attest that you will not be disappointed! Without a doubt, him and his staff are the best I have ever worked with. Thanks again!

Hi Roxy, good to hear from you!

I'm pretty good thanks, and Angela and the boys are all doing well. How are things with you and everyone on Sunset Drive?

Yes, I was hoping that my vacation schedule this summer might allow me to come over to Miami and put the finishing touches to my treatment, but as it happens we're heading out in the opposite direction, to the West coast. It's a side of the US we haven't visited so far.

After my first procedure, my hair looks so natural these days, it's actually not that imperative for me to have any more treatment – just a “nice to have”, really. My barber buzzes all my hair to a Number 4, and he tells me it looks just like a normal, full head of hair at that length. I really ought to take some more photos and send them over to you for the patient file.

You know, I owe you and Dr Jeff and the team a debt I can never truly repay, Roxy. It really was a life-changing experience to have my treatment with you, after the butchering I put myself through at the hands of UK surgeons. You know I'm always here as a UK reference for you all. Never hesitate to get in touch if you need my testimonial, for anything at all.

All the very best to you and Dr Jeff and everyone there, Roxy. Keep in touch.

Fondest regards,
Neil

Hi Lanny,

I did this years ago and it's probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. I love my forehead now, and I haven't needed bangs since the procedure. I feel beautiful every day now.

I can wear my hair in a nice ponytail and not have to worry about the wind blowing or my forehead showing because it's now a beautiful forehead.

My forehead used to be big and square and now it is more oval and proportionate with the rest of my face.

Did you see my before and after pictures on their website (www.foundhair.com)?

The hair has started to thicken nicely over the past month. The plastics work – including my facelift and body liposuction - seems to have "settled" and looks good.

I have had numerous compliments on my "work". Everyone says it looks completely natural.

Right now I am working with a nutritionist on weight reduction, so the whole package should be complete in a few month.

Thank you for everything you have done.

Sincerely,
Allen

Dear Dr. Epstein,

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your wonderful work and for accommodating me during my last visit. I am looking forward to the results.

I would like also to mention how great your staff is. They are all so warm and welcoming and that speaks volume.

I am healing nicely but I am not sure if I am allowed to wash my face now or wait. I got 2 different opinions about that issue.

Please advise at your convenience.

In closing, have a great year and thanks again for all your wonderful work.

Regards,
Simon

Dr Epstein,

Thought you would like to see the progress of the 2,400 grafts you and your fine staff did back in October of 09. I am supper pleased so far with the way things are going, if there is more to come by the end of the 1 year period the better, but for only 5 months I couldn't be happier, as a matter of fact, I had a nice woman tell me that I had a really nice looking beard, I thank her, then told her that I had it evened out and thickened by having a facial hair transplant, she was really amazed, and even more so when I told her I could have bought a new Toyota Camry with cash...lol... but it was more than well worth the money. I keep you in touch and let you know what the 1 year period shows, I may even come back for a touch up.... please tell your staff I said hello. I give you permission if you like to use these photo's on your website (hope you will) and any place else you might want to use them.

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Attached are photos of Day 6 following my procedure. Of course, we won't know for sure how my brows will turn out until after the new hairs grow in, but for now, I am pretty pleased!

I also wanted to let you know how appreciative I am for the caring, concern and undivided attention I received from your staff. Linda completed the job. Bless her! I will never forget her dedication and patience in getting the job done.

Carlos too, was a blessing. He stayed with me after hours, making sure I was okay and had everything I needed (medication, water, taxi), even walked me to the bathroom and waited to make sure I made it back to the operating room. I will never forget his kindness.

I would also like to commend Mercedes (Mercy) for attending to me during the injections. I am very pain-intolerant, but Mercy held my hand and distracted me with pleasant chatter so that I made it through the worst of it without much pain at all. God holds a special place for caretakers such as her.

Of course, I cannot end this without mentioning Roxy. Her warm smile and hug when I entered the office were enough to ease my fears about going through this procedure again. She is a real gem, as I'm sure you already know.

Although this is something I never want to have to repeat, I can honestly say that your kind and caring staff helped to lessen my anxiety and they deserve the utmost praise. Thank you all for helping me through this.

The following photos are completely un-retouched, no makeup except for some brow gel to hold the hairs in place. I pray that my brows will look as good once the news hairs grow in!

Good Morning Jon,

I just removed my stitches yesterday and I'm feeling great. I am very pleased with everything and everyone. Everyone has treated me so nice and have been so caring throughout the whole process. I would have to say that Dr. Epstein is one of the greatest, most caring and professional doctors I have ever met. His staff is wonderful and made me feel very comfortable throughout everything.

Javier

Doing very well. Still a little pink though. The doner site is also healing well. The doner strip it truly undetectable. You did a tremendous job. Thank you.

Thank you again.

There is truly no way I can show appreciation for what you did for me.

This is going to sound corny but many doctors add years to your life. For me you have added life to my years. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

As promised I will keep in touch.
Steve G.

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Doing great, other than the few expected bruises. The chin and neck contouring of my neck look terrific, and the little hair grafts on my scalp and eyebrows look nicely spaced. Lura's very happy with her "new" look. We'll of definitely send you some pictures in a month or so.

Our thanks again to you and your staff for your great talent and care. A special "hi" to Cindy as well.

On a personal note my younger son just called this morning and announced their baby girl is about to arrive so I'm about to become a grandfather with a 45 yr. old face. Very cool.

Best regards to all!
Burke (& Lura)

Ed,

I was completely amazed of how many people I ran into today and said literally nothing about my "trip to Miami". Only two people knew and they did make a comment about how good it looked, but I purposely watched people's eyes to see if they drifted up to the top of my head. And nothing.

I was a little nervous about coming to work today because I really think I look a lot different, but clearly people are not seeing me different at this stage. I think that's an amazing credit to the work of Dr. E and the entire team, including yourself.

A number of clinical friends have made overwhelming positive remarks over the weekend about how great a job Dr. E did and his clinical skills.

Just another quick thanks and words of appreciation to all on the team.

Talk again soon . . .

Best,
Vince

Roxy,

I had received a phone call a while back from someone checking in me. I never returned the call, but please let Dr. E and the staff that it is growing in nicely and I am very pleased..not longer self-conscious:)

Thanks for the follow up and I will send pictures at 9 months

Beth

Good Morning, Dr. Epstein:

It's been awhile since we've touched base, but I've seen a few of your posts during those rare moments when I'm on Facebook. Hope all is still well w/ you & your practice!

If you recall, you performed my hair transplant back on July 3, 2007, I believe. I don't recall the total # of grafts. Beautiful job w/ the incision; clean, even, healed quickly, with a "scar" that's only visible when my barber uses a #2 shaver. Same w/ the graft quality; no buckling, scarring, etc.

Darin

Thanks for your note and follow up, Dr. E. All seems to be good. I spoke with Ed on Friday and shared I had very little pain the night following the procedure and felt better each day thereafter. As of today (Saturday 3/6) I have lost nearly zero grafts which I think is a good thing, please advise. The redness on my head is very light and after returning to home today, some friends were wildly impressed with how I looked.

Overall, I was very pleased with my experience and would recommend others to your team.

Best personal regards,
Vince G

Hello Dr. Epstein and Roxy!

The new hairs have grown in and they look really really good. I'm so happy with the results. Everything is perfect. I would like to send you a picture, but at the moment I'm in a hurry to work out my schedule. I'm going to Haiti in April so I'm hoping to get in with you.

Thanks for your wonderful work. It's been such a blessing to have this done!

Danielle

Hello Ed,

I am feeling great, and my recovery has been quite smooth. I was nervous, however, when I saw the hairs coming out with the crusts, but I got out my handy dandy post-op instructions & read them over & over for reassurance that they will grow back, haha! :) A good bit of the hairs are still there, so I can see now kind of what it will look like in several months when they do grow back which is awesome. I could not be happier with the appearance because the shape suits my face perfectly. I still cannot believe how natural they look (already) and how amazing the shape of my eyebrows are. I am attaching a picture so you can see me one week post surgery. I will do the same several months from now so you can get the true "after" photo.

Now for the staff-I could not say enough how much I appreciated the comfort and ease they brought to the room, especially since I made the decision to have this surgery less than a week before having it. You have a great team of professionals who definitely made an impact in my life in a 5 hour span of time. Please thank all of them for me. And please thank the super famous Dr. Epstein for the amazing work he does (and did for me) to put smiles (and eyebrows) on people's faces!!! :) I couldn't have found a better doctor and team.

At this point, I don't think there is anything I need except maybe one additional reassuring message that these hairs will grow back. I know they will, but I just like to hear/read it one more time!

Thanks for everything. I will keep in touch!
Missy S

The results were great in my opinion. I am able to stile my hair a few different ways which was my goal. I have a lot hair now but I would like to improve it. You only live once! I would like it to grow in my summer if at all possible so I would love to get in soon. We did 2200 last time. I would like your opinion on strengenthing what you think are some weak areas and expanding my hairline a bit.

I am very impressed with all of your press and results. Thank you for helping me lose some of that insecurity over losing hair!! I appreciate the results.

Sincerely,
Bryan S

Dear Roxy,

I hope all is well with you. It is now about 6 months after my operation, and I am delighted with the results. The eyebrows grew back beautifully. And the nose, after some getting used to (primarily by myself), has claimed its natural place on my face like it has always been there in this form. At first I was very worried at how people would react to the new look, but it was interesting that only few people saw anything different, apart from thinking I was looking great. They just could not pin point what exactly had changed. I must say that now that I have the nose correction done, I realize that the somewhat unusal shape of my nose did bother me and I am happy that I had the operation.

I am contacting you because I would like to make an appointment with dr. Epstein during my next visit to Miami. I will be in town for my annual check up on February 22 and 23 and will be available to stop by in the afternoon of any of the two days. I hope it is not too short notice, but I just need a few minutes to show the results

I am looking forward to seeing you soon.

Regards,
Sheila

Dr. E,

I just got back from the Middle East and it has been about 7months since my surgery. I really want you to know how much I appreciate all you have done. The surgery is/was a total success. The fact that I have been gone for over six months and many people had seen me for the first time since I left were very surprised and amazed with the surgery results. They simply could not believe how well of a job you did. I joked and told everyone that the desert water was a miracle but confessed that I went to Miami to see "the best" hair transplant Dr. in the world. I am sharing my success story with you so you can tell anyone that is on the bubble and don't know what Dr. to see...please call me. I researched for over a year on what physician to use and was 100% sure I had chosen the right one before I boarded the plane to Miami. Your staff was great and the entire 8 hour surgery went buy in what felt like only a couple. But it does not stop 2 days after you leave Miami, the staff and yes even Dr. E continues to follow-up with you. This guy does not care about money, he is about results and taking care of you the patient.

Thanks so much and feel free to give anyone my number...that does not believe you can increase someones confidence 110%.

Sincerely
Chris

Hi Maureen,

How are you? Thanks for checking with me.

I just came back to NY. The procedure went well thanks to Dr. Epstein and his wonderful team. Special thanks to Ginelle(?), Karen, and Linda. They were extremely attentive and made a nerve-wrecking procedure pleasant. In addition, thank you again for accommodating my ever-changing travel schedules.

You have always been very helpful.

Dr. Epstein,

I would like thank you and your team for the great job and a very friendly, warm and service oriented environment. All that made 8 hours procedure very easy to handle.

I think that the recovery is going according to the plan you specified in the post-procedure document. I still experience some tingling in the grafts area, I hope that this is normal. I also started my sport activities and a weight lifting and I hope that this is OK as well. Any additional recommendations are very welcome.

Best,
Alex P

Hi Ed,

I am very pleased ! I hardly experienced any swelling and no bruising. In addition the surgery was very comfortable as i do not remember much of it.:) . Dr Epstein is a brilliant plastic/ hair transplant surgeon and i am fortunate he is doing my corrective surgery. Looking forward to your next e-mail in 3 months to touch base.

Eric D

Rani:-)

Thanks
Brian

Dr. Epstein,

Everything is going great at over two years out. Hope everything is going well for you.

Sorry I haven't written more often but the last two years have been pretty hectic and I wanted to give myself time to get used to my new hair.

The transplanted hairs finished thickening and I haven't noticed any changes since around 1 year after the transplant.

I'm constantly amazed by the thickness in the front. It's greater than I ever thought it could be again. I've changed my hairstyle from combing straight forward from the crown to combing to the side like we discussed by fanning out from the temporal angle to cover more of my forehead. I keep the hair in the front > 6 inches long and it grows straight without kinks or split ends... which is awesome! Also, the hair that you put into the left anterior crown covers the rest of the crown really well.

Thanks for everything and hope you are having a great new year,
Richard K

Hello, Sir.

Just wanted to formally thank you for your time and helping me with my hair loss situation. Many things happened to me while in your care. As you know I am currently a student, 2 years into my BS, and not sure what practice to study. My mother is a obgyn, so I figured I would go into that field of study, but after the experience that I had with you, and watching your youtube videos countless times. I almost want to steer into cosmetic surgery. Hopefully you could give me some constructive criticism on this!

Thanks once again for everything, hopefully I have a fantastic result. Im dieing to see a full head of hair again. "rofl"

Hello Ed,

Thank you for checking in with me. I am happy to report that my post procedure week has been complication- free! I've had absolutely no problems. The donor site is healing well; my husband and I have a very hard time even finding the site these days!! The recipient site is , I believe, "healed" - it is almost scab-free and of normal color -- the erythema has completely resolved !

Needless to say, I am very happy that I chose to come to the "Dr Epstein group" - from initial contact with you, Ed, to meeting the very classy and skillful Dr Epstein and all his "transplant goddesses" - my experience has been excellent!!

Now......the waiting begins.....can't wait to see the "finished product".........

I will be in touch with updates!

Thanks again for all your help. I enjoyed meeting you and "putting a face" with the emails.

Warmest regards,
Dr N.

Hey Jon,

POST Surgery - 1 wk update:

I am very well...& HAPPY with the outcome. YES, as you can see from these pictures 'actually' taken yesterday (1/27/10), things are looking great. Still have mild yellowish bruising under eyes but makeup does wonders for that...Pinkish in the brows but not noticeable UNLESS I mentioned I had the surgery. The funny part is, when we got home last Thursday, my parents & my in-laws never noticed...I didn't let family know until after the surgery. (Sometimes ignorance causes negativity)! They thought I was only going down there to 'talk' to Dr. Epstein, ha-ha.

Dr. Epstein, You and the rest of the STAFF are truly amazing, caring and talented people. I noticed everyone was so together there and as time went on during my surgery, I felt more and more comfortable. (Enjoyed staff singing 'Ring of Fire' & 'Hotel California' in my ear**accent was great**. This by far has been THE BEST doctor's appointment I have ever had.

I was nervous ONLY bc of the following: Researched thru internet & booked it over the phone back in November, flew in the day of surgery all the way from Jacksonville(hahah) & finally met Dr. Epstein. First time for everything RIGHT!!! What made the decision EASY for me was this: When researching internet websites, Dr. Epstein's stood out from everyone. I loved the fact the pictures could be magnified for close-ups so You felt like YOU were actually looking at the person and NOT viewing it long-distance. Dr. Epstein's visual talent for viewing your facial structure and knowing what looks BEST for YOU is priceless! My personal experience was not uncomfortable or apprehensive. I was made to feel special...Not another number or surgery BUT as someone you truly wanted to help. Its not about the money either. I have time now for focusing MORE on what matters most: hubby, my kids and activities I had long avoided.

I will definitely keep taking pictures, journaling my experience & keeping in touch with you. I sincerely hope my progress and testimony could help someone else that feels the way I USED to feel. My heart is OVERJOYED right now bc I feel like I got my life back, silly as that sounds. I can get ready in no time flat!! I can go without makeup, as Dr. Epstein recommended a 'Southern girl' should do...I'm looking forward to the summer and continued progress....

Sincerely GRATEFUL,
Shannon S

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks to you. You are a rarity these days in the nature of your bedside manner, your sense of humor coupled with your extraordinary expertise. It has been my good fortune to deal with you.

I am almost certain that my son will need your services in a few years as he shares my genes and is just starting to thin a bit - goes without saying you are our man!!

Thanks again for all the good work and your generosity.
Len Zullo

I had my hair transplants done on January 8th, and I was just so amazed at how wonderful the experience was. I'm not saying needles to my scalp are a treat, but the kind and genuine care I received was absolutely outstanding.

I'm 25, and I've been losing my hair since I was 14. It was a secret I kept and concealed for over a decade, not even members of my family knew how bad my alopecia progressed. It's effected every area of my life.

Socially, men of my past will tell you that I have problems with intimacy and commitment. And I can't blame them for having that impression of me when I wouldn't even let them stroke my hair, shower with them, or go on vacation with them when I've been invited. The truth is, I would have LOVED to have done those things, but I couldn't because my secret would be revealed. So I have missed out on so many experiences and several potential long-term relationships as a result of my condition. It's left me rather lonely.

My hair loss has even effected my professional life. I was accepted and should have started medical school last year, but I didn't. I knew I couldn't proceed with this next huge step in my life without facing this skeleton in my closet. The last thing I wanted to worry about as a medical student is if my classmates, patients, teachers, or boyfriends can tell that I'm balding. I could have been in my second semester of medical school at this point, but I knew I needed to see Dr. Epstein first. As I told Dr. Epstein, I re-applied for the entering class of 2010, and I got accepted to Howard University, a well-respected medical school. I'm excited to start in the Fall, but quite honestly, I'm even more excited that I'll be 6 months post-op by that time!

I know this is something you all do everyday, but for me January 8th changed my life. Nothing will ever the be same, and I am so glad for that. Because of Dr. Epstein and his wonderful staff, I have been saved from a life of loneliness, secrets, and insecurities... and I can't even begin to explain how free I now feel. It's hard for me to write this without crying my eyes out, but I'm so glad to say that they are tears of happiness.

Thank you improving my life and giving me new opportunities. Dr. Epstein has literally been the answer to my prayers. I'll be sure to send photos and keep in touch....

With all the sincerity I have, thank you.

Warmly,
Jackie A

Thanks for checking in.

Everything seems to be following the post op instructions that were given to me. There are still a few spots in the incision harvest site that are a little tender, but that seems to be less and less each day. Your staff was very professional , kind and gentle. I was very nervous and apprehensive about having the procedure, but they made me feel very comfortable and reassured. All and all, I am very pleased so far with the entire procedure. I cant wait until I start to produce growing hair.

Please send my most sincere thanks to Dr Epstein and his staff. I would recommend you to anyone who would ask me.

Thanks again,
Herb

I do want to thank you and Dr. Epstein for all your help.

My only experience with Doctors before this was GPs, and I must say this was the most unstressful, convenient, and ethical experience I have ever had at a Dr's office. I can honestly say this is the only time I have ever felt that a Dr. was looking out for my best interest.

I will be recommending you guys to anyone I know that is looking for a plastic surgeon.

Yubi

Hello, and happy New Year!

I want to let you know how very satisfied I am with the transplanation procedure Dr. Epstein did for me. Even though my procedure was four years ago (with a follow up procedure in early 2008), I am utterly amazed EVERY DAY at how beautifully and completely my eyebrows were restored. I am relieved that I no longer think about my brows (except to trim them and admire them!). There is nothing "transplanted" looking about them; they are completely "me," and they are even better than the brows I was born with, before I over-tweezed them. I wear absolutely no makeup on my brows, because now they are JUST PERFECT.

There is no question that I was helped by the very finest specialist in the field; I am so grateful that I met Dr. Epstein and his staff! When I feel the need for any other cosmetic procedure, I will consult Dr. Epstein.

Very best regards,
Kathleen

Things are great!

Dr. Epstein did incredible work for me and I am eternally grateful in more ways than I can ever be able to list! I was very depressed about my situation for many years, and now every time I look in the mirror I am happy! What a difference in my life overall, you have no idea. If I ever consider other proceedures in the future, I will consult with him first. I appreciate your checking in with me, and send my regards to Dr. E. Also if he ever needs a referral or if a prospective client wants to hear how great my experience has been, I am happy to share...

Happy New Year!
Kate

Dr. Epstein

everythings great!! the hairs were all grown in by early december which i was so surprised about. i thought it would take much longer. my eyebrows look amazing- i could not be happier with the work done.

thanks so much-
janna

Hi DJ,

I was the guy who had a bad experience with another Dr. the other time and you recommended Dr. Epstein. Well, l had my procedure last friday (12/4/09) at his NYC ofice. I came away feeling really good. He is indeed a great guy. I was very impress with him and his staff. They treated me like somebody. The nurses were very helpful even the following day when l went back to wash the hair, they were just great to say the least. I have had a terrible and emotional degrading exprience from my past Dr. in NJ who always like being in the media all time. The closing in the donor area is amazing. He remove the old scar and close it and it appears nothing ever happened there. My only regrets, is why l didn't go with Dr. Epstein from the beginning. if l had, l would have completely retore my hair by now. it would have only taking 2 session. l know is too early to be jumping up and saying what a wonder result? But l am very please with the entire process upto this momement.

Thank you DJ for savng me and leading me in the right direction. You could have ignore my e-mail 2 yrs ago, but God touch you to direct me. My life was so miserable l didn't think this life was a place for me anymore. I have attached the pix. before and after.

Thanks again DJ.
God will bless you for what you have done for me.

Hi Roxy and Dr. Epstein,

I just wanted to say thank you again. Everyone at the office is so great and makes the procedure go so smoothly. I appreciate the time and all the work that went into my procedure. Linda was great and I love the shape of the brows. I truly hope that this does it for me. It's nice to feel human again. Losing my eyebrows has been such a hard thing for me to go through but you guys all make it easier. Again thank you for everything and I'll send you guys some updated pictures after a while. If there is anything I can do to help you guys please let me know.

Thank you again for everything!!
Jen

Dr. Epstein,

First, I want to thank you and your staff for doing such a remarkable job with my procedure and providing such a high level of service. Everyone in your office was caring, helpful and professional to say the least. I can already tell what kind of positive affect it is going to have on my confidence. I also want to thank you for getting me back in so soon for a follow up.

I am very pleased with the result. I suppose I am very particular, sometimes to a fault reflection on you or your work. I will be sure to reiterate my praise in a separate email so you can add to your book.

Thank you Doc!
Josh K

I'm not sure what info you'd like, but in a nutshell,

I'm very happy with the results from my surgery. I have more hair at age 39 than at age 25. I take Finasteride regularly, though I have had times where I've slacked off for a couple of months and my hair begins to thin again. With regular Finasteride, I've maintained the same amount of hair, year's later, that I had shortly after the surgery.

It is not a full, thick head of hair, & I'm still thin bald on the back, like before the surgery (which focused n the front). But everything look's very natural like I'm just thinning so I'm very pleased. I've attached a couple of photos & can get more if you'd like some for your file.

I have moved to California, & if you have anybody in California who would like to talk to someone about the surgery I would be happy to.

Can you please thank Dr. Halaas for me? Thank you as well for the post-op instructions.

I am sorry this is so late.

I was her patient on "The Doctor's" TV episode that aired recently. I wanted to thank her for her skill, compassion and care that day and hope that the segment turned out the way that she had hoped it would.

I look forward to seeing her and Dr. Epstein again soon.

Thanks and Best Regards,
Rob

Hi Doc,

Hey Doc, I just wanted to wish a you a very happy holiday season and Happy New Year. As you know, you are #1 with me. Thanks for everything you have done for me. I really appreciate it. It is so nice to have a great doctor and a great guy caring for you. I know that it is extremely important that you are a great doctor, but believe me, it is also important that you are a great guy. I wish nothing but the best for you and your family.

If I can help you in any way, let me know. I would be happy to help. You have a great staff. They are all so nice to me.

Best of luck to you. I am sure we will be in touch at some point. I feel very blessed to have you as my doctor. Thanks again!

Very truly yours,
Bruce B.

Dear Dr. Epstein,

How are you? I hope you are fine and doing well. I wish you and your family a very merry christmas and happy holidays. I would like to thank you for your effort and professionalism in performing my procedure. Attached are my pics 7 days post op. Please have a look and let me know your opinion. Will keep you updated. Kindly send my regards to all your sweet team. Take care.

Yours from Dubai,
Khalid A

Jon,

My cousin saw the closing of the donor site, she was amazed. She had seen the huge scar that came with the 3 procedures l had before. When you really come close you don't even know anything happened there. Although, it might be it's too early to jump for joy, since the expectation is for the hair to fully grow out, But Dr. Epstein's work in my donor site is simply amazing. His skill is superb.

In my previous procedures, I was told by the Publicity stunted Dr. in NYC and NJ and his California mentor who are always in the media and claim to be the architect of modern hair transplant, that my huge scars at the donor site, is as a result of my race. "African-American donor sites always turn out like scars and keloids" But, Dr.E has completely erase that notion on my mind with the work he did closing my donor site.

l am very thrill. My only regret is why l didn't go with him sooner.

That beg the question why those folks on the forum of the hair transplant network will ever had anything unpleasant to say about his skills and professionalism ?

Thanks!
Peter E.O

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I am back in New Jersey after my procedure last week and having a speedy recovery. I wanted to Thank You very much for your help you and your staff both in Miami and New York have given me.

Firstly, Karen and your other staff members who worked with me during my procedure in Miami made me feel so comfortable and were very friendly through out my entire procedure-please thank them so much for me! Secondly, I want to especially thank Maureen from New York for her helpfulness to assist me over the past several months answering all my questions and concerns that I had. She facilitated me in every step of the way and that means a lot to a patient with lots of questions and concerns.

So I thank her very much for her eagerness to always assist. And Finally, Dr. Epstein, I want to Thank You so much for helping me out.

This was a big decision for me and I would not have trusted anyone else. It's been a week since my procedure and I am very happy with the results so far and I'm anxiously waiting for time to go by. You did a flawless job and the results so far are incredible! I am very happy with the work you did and will always be grateful for that. Thanks once again, I will see you soon!!!

Take Care,
Rishi P

Hey Maureen,

I am doing good resting at the Hampton. Under all the medication and sleepy. Just got a chance to check my e-mail. The procedure went well and everyone at the office in Miami was so nice to me and made the procedure a success.

Dr. Epstein is truly a world class doctor and I am so happy that I made this decision to work with him...and all of this was only possible because our endless e-mail conversations to work out everything.

I am going back to the office tomorrow for antoher hair wash and laser. Do you all have the laser therapy there at the NY office as well? I fly Saturday morning for New Jersey. I have to write an official letter of thanks to you and Dr. Epstein...so when I feel a little better next week I will get back to you on that.

Thanks for asking how I am doing....that means a lot!!!!

Dear Dr. Epstein,

I wanted to Thank you & your staff. You were my last chance at fixing my eyebrows and the burns scars that I have lived with for two very long years.

I am so Thankful for what you have done for me!! Hopefully when the hairs grow back in I will be able to look in the mirror again and smile.

You & your staff are awesome, I was treated so good. Like you said, It's hard to please a Scorpio and You Have in every way!! Please take care and Happy Holidays,

I will send pictures in 3-4 months when the hairs grow in.

Thanks,
Angela B

Hi Roxy!

Thanks again for coming in to meet me. That was really sweet. I was pretty nervous that day as it was all too surreal. Your helped calm me down a bit:)

Things are going well. I am using Rogaine for women and otherwise, just waiting to see if I am going to grow some hair in the spring.... kinda anxious really!

Anyway, I hope you all had a great thanksgiving and enjoy the rest of the holiday season. Please pass on my thanks to everyone. You all are superb!

xo
Beth

Dr Epstein

I am in china working. I love my results and I will do another treatment when I get some time

Than you
Darin

Dr. Epstein:

Just wanted to thank you and your staff, specially Karen and Niurka, for a wonderful experience during my procedure today.

My anxiety prior to the procedure was overcome by the professionalism and caring felt in your office.

Happy Thanksgiving!!
Jaime N

I am, thank you!

I have been meaning to call the office, but life is crazy busy around here.

You and your staff are incredible at what you do and experiencing how efficient you all are at this, makes me not worry a bit. I am looking forward to seeing what hairs grow in this spring. I will send you pictures when it starts to happen.

Thank you again for your dedication and skill and for doing something for me that I have literally wanted my entire life. I am still in disbelief that I may have that hairline. We will see!

Happy thanksgiving,
Beth

P.S. for the donor site, is it okay to put neosporin or cortisone on it??

I have every intention of following up with having my neck done and the revision on the hair replacement on my right side.

Recently I saw Dr. Linda Marraccini, my GP (in your building), for a physical and I mentioned that I was going to have some cosmetic surgery with you and she told me you are one of the most incredibly talented surgeons ever. She told me that you could probably rebuild an entire face you were so skilled and that I would never have to worry about a bad outcome with you. Just thought you might like to know what your peers say about you.

Respectfully,
Pamela

Hi Ed. How you doing?

I have nothing but positive things to say about the PRP treatment. Within 2 weeks of the procedure, I have noticed a difference- a dramatic slowdown of loss, down from 10-20 hairs per day to 2 or 3. Even my maid mentioned that she is not seeing hair anywhere that she used to. I also feel that my hair has thickened up a bit, especially in the most noticeable areas of thinning.

Thanks so much- all very encouraging.
Antonio

Hi Dr. Epstein / Roxy,

Thanks for the quick response. I had transplants done by you to my moustache area about 2 years ago and was very pleased with the results and the professionalism of you and your staff. I trust that I will be in good hands with you again.

Thanks, Kevin

Hi there,

I just walked in my door and saw that you called! Thank you so much for everything! For all the follow up, which is THE ONLY REASON I got off my butt and did it! I was so nervous about the unknown, and you really kept reassuring me that it would work and that it would be okay! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

The procedure was a piece of cake! I felt nothing! And from what I can tell, everything will look great! Dr. Epstein thought I had VERY attainable goals and that it would work! Everyone in the office was GREAT! I thought I would be embarrassed in front of them, but they were all very inviting and helpful. They made me VERY comfortable and at ease! The only bad part was riding home on the plane with out my hair blown dry and the ugly tape on my forehead! But I got over it!

If it wasn't for you, I would not have done this so THANK YOU AGAIN!
Mary

Hi Roxy,

Sorry for the delayed response - I changed my email server some time ago and your messages were ending up in my junk mail folder.

Yes, I am absolutely pleased with my results and was very happy with my decision to use Dr. Epstein - you guys were all great. I certainly know who I'm calling should I need your services again.

Thanks,
Thomas

Good morning Dr E.

I fly off this afternoon. I would like to thank you and your fabulous team for making my surgery a good experiece.

See you next year
Charlot

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Just had to write and say WOW! I truely was at ease and compfortible with you and all your staff, everyone was so very nice, curtious, and carrying during the whole process.

Please tell all your staff I said thanks...

And not to forget Jon, it was nice to put a face to a voice.

Take care all
George

Hello Dr. Epstein,

How are you? This is John M.  I am writing this e-mail to thank you for being a wonderful doctor and your staff was very friendly and helpful. I always feel safe going into to your office in New York. I hope that you're right about me being a hairy dude soon. The last time I had a procedure done was in Jan 10, 2008, in the axilla area of 300 grafts. It should be stated that it has grown in wonderfully!!!!!! Now on October 8, 2009 I had another procedure done to the axilla area which included a little over 400 grafts. I am wondering how it would look in a couple of months? Do you think I would need a third procedure?

Thank you for your help and hard work.

Take Care
John

P.S. Give Roxy a big hug for me!!!!!!!!!!!

Roxy,

Good to hear from you!!  Yes, I am always thinking of the best time to come and see you all again.  I am most probably coming in the spring with some girlfriends this time...more fun that way!!!

Anyway, it's all a work in progress scheduled around work and life in general.  Will call to set up a time in Florida and email some current pictures of my brows. The planted follicles have continued to grow and flourish...just needing some fine-tuning which we knew we would have to do.  Also, would like to transplant more along the hairline as before...esp the right side!!

I think of you all often, esp whenever I get compliments form people about my eyes...they all think I had some bleph. work  or something, they cannot figure it out!!  They are acquaintances so I just smile and say thank you!!

Will contact you later!!

Take care!!
Marie

Dr. Epstein,

I returned to Pennsylvania yesterday and I am very sad to have left Florida. Thank you again. The surgery went smoothly and it was great to work with you and your staff. I am looking forward to seeing the final results emerge over the next several months and a follow up meeting with you in NY some time in the next six months.

All looks good!

Thanks!
Chris

Hey Jon,

Thanks for the inquiry. The procedure went great and I can already tell it was far more impressive than what Bosley did for me. Thank you for your professionalism and accommodating my unusual schedule.

All the Best,
Spencer

Hi Dr. E!

The new hairs have grown in and they look amazing! I'm very, very pleased. See the pictures.

Your work is amazing!

Hello Dr. Epstein

Before and after 1 procedure
2800 grafts.
How are you doing its been awhile and I wanted to meet up and show you my results. Nothing short than excellent !!! I also wanted to discuss a possible 2nd procedure. I still get inquiries on the hairtransplant forum and men have come from all over to see my results. I am chatting with a guy right now and he is supposed to call me. I sent him some pics and he was impressed. It has been 18 months from our 1st procedure. I have attached 2 pics taken 2 months ago.

Thanks Dr. E,
Dennis Riley

I recently had two HT procedures with Dr. Epstein. I think he's great. My first procedure was in Dec 08 (3,073 grafts) and the second in Mar 09 (2,512 grafts). As a Class 6, I was more than happy with the results of the first procedure. Good coverage and natural placement. My biggest concern was an unnatural look. I had no need to worry. The small (1,2 and 3 hair) grafts and expert placement produced a very natural, undetectable look. Having just had my second procedure 12 days ago, I am looking forward to the new hair that will result. About 9 months after my first procedure, I visited a dermatologist for some sun spots on my face. I told him I had had a hair transplant and invited him to look it over. His response was that he had never before seen a hair transplant patient with no visible scarring on top. BTW, the incision on the back of my head healed nicely with an almost undetectable scar. Many friends have marveled at the overall results, including a friend's wife who owns a hair salon and sees many men with hair transplants. I can say without reservation that I have complete trust in Dr. Epstein in terms of his technical and artistic talents, as well as his character. Both Dr. Epstein and his staff were thoroughly committed to my comfort during both procedures and the positive atmosphere in the office helped the time in the chair pass quickly. I did a lot of research before selecting a hair transplant surgeon and I am very happy that I chose Dr. Epstein. Not only is he a great HT surgeon (and facial plastic surgeon), he's also a humanitarian who has performed pro bono surgery on needy children. Please note that my only association with Dr. Epstein is as a patient... and now, a friend.

John K (age 55)

Hey Dr. Epstein I wrote to you a couple of days ago on donor scarring. I was just a little freaked out at Dr. fxxxx's pics on hairtransplantnetwork of a good scar in the donor area he posted. Dr. Eptein it was pretty big and im glad I did not see that guy. I went back on to your website and looked at donor scars from your site and was completely comforted. My donor site is incredible!!!!!I can wear my hair short with a buzz cut style.

thanks.
D. R.

Dear Doctor Epstein,

I made it back to Japan and have started working again this week. Healing slowly so, so far so good.

Roxy,

That is so nice of you to check in. Everything is going well and I am extremely pleased with the results of the procedure. Please tell Dr. Epstein I send my regards and I am sure I will be contacting you again when I age necessitates that I need another procedure.

Be well.
D. L. Z.

Hey Roxy,

Thanks for checking in! I LOVE the results - it's pretty amazing! Even when I did have eyebrow hair (before plucking), I NEVER had this perfect shape that I have now. Just for fun, I attached before and after photo from my personal album. The "after" shot shows them with some eyebrow pencil applied, but you get the idea!

Have a great weekend!
Julie

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Attached are some photos of me in the office with the new beard stubble (well it is casual Friday after all :))

I'm about 4 months out after the procedure and very happy with the results.

Still have some hairs growing out I think.

Thanks to you and your staff again for a wonderful job.
Ron

Dr. E.,

I just wanted to thank you again for your time today. I made it home safely, and had the chance to look at it in detail with a clearer head, and if every area that is scabbed up holds strong, this procedure will restore the confidence I have been looking to regain for the last three years of my life.

All I have wanted since I started this frustrating journey was to be able to have hair that I am proud to expose to the public without the hat on. You are truly an answered prayer Dr. Epstein.
I wish you the best of luck in everything; its not too often that I meet a spiritual person that is success driven, and finds love through their work without the financial rewards being a determinant in what they are doing for the world.

I am truly grateful, and will be looking to help your business when I can.

God bless you.

Sincerely,
Matt

Dear Ed,

I would like to take a moment to thank you, Dr. Epstein, Linda, Alicia and his entire staff for the warm hospitality. Dr. Epstein and his staff has been nothing but extremely professional and caring and made the whole experience very positive. Please convey my gratitude to the entire staff and especially Dr. Epstein for maintaining such a great practice and providing great service.

I arrived in Riyadh safely and have been trying to get over the jet lag. The hair feel great and so far nothing has fallen off (I remember my promise to both Linda and Alicia and hope Alicia still has the card I drew for her). I have been extremely careful per the instructions and I will however go back to the gym soon and I am really itching to shed the bad habits I developed during this week.

Take care and once again please convey sincere gratitude to everyone.

Thanks,
Adil

Hi Ed,

What a cordial response! I bet you are very busy being Dr. Epstein's patient advisor. My husband, Burke, and I accidently happened upon Dr. Epstein about 8 years ago and it was the best piece of luck we've ever had! I've recommended him to many people and always mention how high he scored on his board exams. Hah! I went back to work two weeks after my face-lift and no one suspected anything other than I looked well-rested.

We would life to submit photos to you as soon as we take some up close shots. Burke is interested in, guess what?, MORE HAIR!!! His transplanted hairs took very well on the top front of his head, but he needs to fill in the open spot toward the back and a little more on the front hairline. I am interested in either a mini-midfacelife or a mid-facelift. I have high cheekbones already but they would look a lot better if they were north about 1/2 inch or so. Also, does Dr. Epstein go in through the undereye or the inside of the mouth to get to the cheek muscles or does he prefer an endoscopic approach through the temples? He did such good work around the my ear area. I might also need some laser resurfacing under my right eye as I ran into a tree branch while mowing the lawn on our tractor mower and the small injury site has a few scars. I would be willing to do whatever Dr. Epstein suggests. Maybe a full face lift would work also since I already have the incisions, but this approach might not lift the midface.

Thanks for your reply and we will be sending photos shortly.

Hi Dr E.

I just wanted to send u new pictures of Addison since it has been a little over a year since her last procedure. She looks great she still is getting new hair growth but as you can see it is coming in wonderfully. This is the first year she has been in school where she hasn't had to wear her wig and she's comfortable with it. When I look at the pictures I never thought 3 years ago that this was even possible. You are a the greatest doctor and a even more wonderful man. My daughter asks about you all the time and she wants to come visit you soon. I could never repay you are or be more thankful to anyone in my life.

She is going to be undergoing a similar procedure on her back to remove the large scar that was left there.

Love,
Bobbi Jo Moman & Addison Copeland

Dear Roxy

I'm doing great. I'm very very happy about the results of the procedure.
Very good job!!
My regards to all the team

Luigi

Jeff,

I enjoyed seeing you on TV. The work you do is remarkable. So is your staff. When I watched the process the other night I had nothing but fond memories of you guys. My moustache has really filled out nicely since the picture I sent you. It's just life changing.

Thanks for what you do.
Jay G

Hi Dr. E.,

I wanted to thank you and your staff for taking such good care of me last week. Everything is going as expected and I'm looking forward to a fabulous result. You mentioned that you could refer me to one of your colleagues in Palo Alto or Menlo Park to have my stitches removed and I'd very much appreciate that. Since I had my surgery last Wednesday, I should schedule the stitches removal for this coming Monday, August 31, right?

BTW, over the weekend I saw several episodes of Miami Social, including the season finale. The show itself is dreadful (and kinda boring), but you came out great! I hope that works out for you. Michael seems like a nice guy, too.

Thanks again for all your work on my behalf and for making this whole process easy and comfortable for me.

All the best,
B

Roxy,

Just another funny "new hair" story. I saw my cousin who I have not seen in about 5-6 months.... and he looked at my hair and said... "someone is coloring their hair"....... I told him... no coloring then..... I had to laugh to myself.....

jc

Dr. Epstein,

I received an email from your office, that you were appearing on Miami Social on Tuesday, performing the surgery on Michael, one of the characters of the reality show.  I've been watching the show, but I made sure I taped it because I didn't want to miss it.

I was in your office last year for a consultation on hair replacement.  I really liked how you explained the process and your employees were all so courteous.  I definitely want to do it, and I've been saving up to be able to next year.  The reason for this note, is that after watching the show on Tuesday, and the actual operation, my decision is made.  I saw how simple and casual it is, and it makes me more at ease with the procedure.  Thanks for showing this on TV, I'm sure a lot of people feel the same way I do.

When I'm ready (saved enough), I will contact your office again and will setup an appointment for the procedure.

You are definitely a "rising star".

Thanks for your time.

Dr. Epstein,

Just a quick question. I really like, from what I can research, What Dr. Woods is doing. Is yours different? I want to buzz my hair, I do it now, I'm a 1.8 density and very fine.

I have not done anything at all yet. But FUE sounds like good stuff to me.

You did a great job on my sister Enid. Everytime I see her I am happy that I recommended you. Trust me if she wasn't happy my life would be hell. Even my mom was happy in the choice I made for her. Just really good work my man.

Thanks,
Todd H - Long Island, N.Y. (Enids brother)

Hi Dr. Charles,

I have a new girlfriend. That doesn't seem like a big deal except that she's the third since last October. Before my hair restoration, most women wouldn't even look at me ( well, most women who were attractive.) Since having the restoration, it's like it was for me twenty or thirty years ago, even better. It seems that in most instances women prefer men who are older, that is if they are men with hair on their heads!!

Believe it or not, it's true. I met Ms. "A" last October on a blind date from an internet dating site. That alone was an accomplishment because most women wouldn't even agree to meet me after looking at my pictures with a bald head. We hit it off right away, but there were some family difficulties to begin with which may not have been a problem except for Ms. "B", a former student of mine ( my own age group), who took advantage of the situation and was able to nudge me away from Ms. "A" into her own court. It lasted with Ms. "B" until the beginning of July. I went back online, and almost immediately hooked up with Ms. "C", who found me first! We went out on our first date last week, and the second last night, and I can safely say that if there isn't a commitment yet, there will be one very shortly.

The point is if I didn't have your procedure done, this all would have been nothing more than a wet dream, instead of reality. It really did change my life!

All the best,
Ric

Hey Dr. Epstein.

I saw you on "Miami Social" last night, you were great!

BTW, my hair is looking wonderful, thank you very much.

Randy M
Homestead, FL

Hi Jeff:

I don't know if you remember me, but, I wanted to tell you that I saw you on Miami Social, you look terrific! Also, I wanted to tell you that after 10 months, my sister Alison's hair looks terrific, too. You did a splendid job, I'm glad I sent her to you. If you have a spare moment in NYC when you are here, I would love to have a drink.

Best,
Craig

Dear Dr. Epstein,

Roxy, Cindy, Susie, & All the Wolderful Staff & Nurses,

Thank you so much for all the excellent treatment you're given me throughout my procedure & post-op laser hair therapy. You have made this a memorable experience & one that I will recommend to any friend who needs it.

Thank you again for everything!
Cristy

Hi Roxy,

I can't believe it has been over a year. It actually felt like something was missing this past Spring when I didn't plan a trip to Miami, but I really didn't need to come - my brows grew in beautifully! I'm attaching a photo of me taken on my trip to Alaska last summer. It was great to be able to travel light and worry-free with my new brows.

Based on the email updates I've received, it seems that Dr Epstein has been keeping very busy. I think of you both often and will never be able to thank you enough for all that you've done for me. I hope both you and Dr. Epstein are doing well and I appreciate you touching base to check on how things turned out.

Thanks again,
Nancy

Hey Roxy,

I'm doing great. I recently graduated from law school and couldn't be happier with my hair.
I was last in the office at the beginning of March this year with my dad. Dr. Epstein took photos and a video of my results and he was as happy with the results as I am.

Thanks for everything,
Chris

Dr. Epstein,

I am sorry I was unable to meet with you in person when you were in Tampa this week. Work had taken me out of town. I have attached a word document with pictures so you can see the progress/results. I included the before and after pics side by side. I appreciate the good work.

My surgery was Jan 8, 2009. The most recent photos were taken Aug 15, 2009, approx 7 months post op. The resuts speak for themselves. Best thing I ever did and I know I made the right choice in using you as my doctor. Pictures on the left are pre-op, pictures on the right are as of Aug 15. The Scar is undetectable! Thank you once again.

Thanks,
Ron R

Hi Roxy,

I'm doing well. I hope you and Dr. Epstein have been doing well too. Thank you so much for reaching out to me. I also wanted to thank you, Dr. Epstein and the rest of the staff for making it such a wonderful experience.

While my brows still have some bald spots they are a HUGE improvement from what they were and for that I am truly grateful!!

Thanks again for helping restore my brows and my confidence :) Please tell Dr. Epstein I said hello :)

Warm regards,
Nicole

P.S. I tried to attach some wedding pictures so I hope you are able to get them. We just had our 1st anniversary- can you believe it??

Hi Maureen !!

It's been exactly one week today and all went so well at Dr. Epstein's office !!! I am so excited about my new eyebrows and they did such a beautiful job...

I am so impressed with Dr.Epstein and his staff... Linda was unbelievable !!! They took such time and care with me and I am grateful and could not be happier... they strive for perfection !!!

I also went to the Boca office and they were kind enough to shampoo my hair the next two days after the procedure and I met Dr. Charles, who also I was impressed with and his concern... I will see Dr. Charles on Monday to have the sutures removed...

Thank you also for all your help with making this procedure happen !!

Regards,
Catherine

Hey Dr. Epstein,

Congrats on the good work and recognition over in Amsterdam. I have been getting ALOT more growth than I expected these first two months!  A few of my more skeptical friends have commented positively on the early results.

Thanks again Doc.
David

Hello from Spain,

Hope all is well with you... I can't believe how fast the time has gone... do you realize I was in Miami over a year ago for my procedure. I am happy with the results overall. It was a gradual process but I can really tell the difference, especially when I look at photos. I am still in Spain, was back in the US for about two months. Had another type of procedure (hernia) so it took a bit of time to recover. Back in Spain, and just finished a interpretation/translation course.

Amazing and a VERY steep learning curve for sure. Hope you and staff are well... let me know how things are going there, and don't rule out the possibility of working together in the future, now with honed language skills and business/marketing experience. I am especially interested in the work you are doing for children.

LOVE THAT!!! Stay in touch!!!

Best,
Michael

Hey doc!

Great surfing video. Neil is still super happy with your work of art!!!

Take care and I hope I'll be the next patient! :)

Hi Roxy,

Jim and I just got home last night after being in Zimbabwe for a month. Very cold there...

My hair is great and incision site healed. Haven't had time to communicate with you as the Blackberry Storm phone I have with my and Verizon global service would not work from there or South Africa for the entire trip! Rats!

Such is life.

So today we are just trying to catch up...

Jury duty yikes! School in 2 weeks!

Back to the race!

Best.
Lynn

Hey Guys,

I hope all is well.

Attached are some pictures taken this morning.  It has been four weeks since the procedure, what do you think?

Have a great week!
Pat

Dr. Epstein,

Thank you very much.  I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your following up on this. After all the research I'd done, I've remained confident that the decision to go through with this was right and that you were the right surgeon to do it, and I'd just told my Aunt yesterday that I was certain I'd hear back from you.

Thanks again for your help,
Brian

Hello Roxy,

Sorry I have not gotten your email and responded sooner, but it was in the spam box, anyways, I am interested in either botox or this new product, to be done on my forehead facial lines.

I would like to set up an appointment for Monday, Aug 3rd, if available, please if you can email this info, and I will call you to confirm.

Thank you and Dr. Epstein and Jon, great service you provide and highest level of communication skills in keeping your "clients" informed and willingness to extend a much well received welcoming.

Thanks,
M.D.

Hello Dr. Epstein,

I've attached two more pics as of today.  As you can see it's about 95% healed.

I removed the stitches on Monday (approx 18 days after the procedure.)

I would say that the revision has left a scar no more than 1 to 2 mm wide!!!!!!
A GREAT SUCCESS!!!  I am so happy right now.

Of course you get most of the credit, but I thought I'd tell you what I did on my end.

First I used the Neosporin for approx the first 6 or 7 days.

I kept the wound as clean as possible.  It never even really had much of a scab at all except for around the stitches themselves. I assume due to how you sutured it.

The other thing I did was make a great veggie and fruit juice smoothie everyday with carrots / cucumber / banana / apple / parsley / yogurt and what I think was the MOST important ingredient - 4 ounces of 100% aloe.

You mentioned that if everything went well we could do another procedure to tackle more of the scar in approx 4 months or so.  Do you still think that would be the thing to do?  I really am looking forward to whittling it ALL down to 1 to 2 mm total width!!!  If you agree I will talk to Jon about setting something up in December.

THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kris

Hello Dr. Epstein,

Just a quick update for you.
- The graft removals that I can see you did above my temples seem to have healed up GREAT!
- Same for the new grafts and the fue sites as well...
- I've attached two pics of the sutures that are in the scar revision. At this stage in the past, I recall having a pretty big/wide scab back there. Now there is nothing but basically a fine line and the stitches. (You don't know how glad I am that I came to you right now!!!!!!)

Anyways, I believe you usually recommend stitches out after 10 days. Because it looks so great and also because you did the stitches under the skin, I wonder if I should consider removing the exterior stitches now or possibly in the next day or two?

Do you have any further opinion based on how things are looking now?

Again, Thanks so much for your expertise and talents!!!!!!
Kris K

Hi Roxy!

How are you? Yes, it's been exactly 9 months today since my procedure. I am doing well.

Regarding the transplant, the hair has come in very nicely! ... Actually, much better results than Dr. E told me I could expect.

That's GREAT customer service when you deliver more than you promise! I'm really very pleased with the results!

Thanks again for everything!
Jerry

Dr. Epstein,

I have attached a few photos that I just took myself and one normal photo from last weekend so that you could see how nicely the frontal area has filled in.

Any suggestions, advice, or direction would be appreciated and thanks again for your time and support.

Sincerely,

Alex

Jeffrey,

Just wanted to let u know I appreciate everything you did for me today with my procedure. It means a lot to me.

Manny

My Angel Roxy

It was wonderful to see you, Dr. E, Linda, and the rest of the staff as well. I am absolutely amazed at how terrific you look, girl! You keep it up!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new procedure will greatly increase my regrowth factor. I am hoping that the new hairs don't fall out at all. That would be my miracle and dream come true I will continue to sing the praises of Dr. E. I firmly believe that some day I will wake up with the beautiful brows I have always dreamed of....for good. I have the phenomenal Dr. E and staff to thank for that, and there are no words to describe how grateful I am for all that you guys have done for me.

I love you, Roxy!! : ) Say hi to everyone for me. I'll be in touch and will send pics.

Anita

I want to thank everyone for truly making my procedure on june 30, 2009 an "enjoyable" experience. Flying 1500 miles, alone, brought uncertanly and concerns! I was quickly alleviated by any concern from the time I arrived until the time I left, I was treated outstanding. I wish everyone in the office a wonderful summer and look forward to a possible return trip next year.

Sincerely,
Gregg

Hello Dr. Epstein,

Thanks so much for the quick reply.

How come I always get the right answers from you and no one else tells me what is going on regarding hairloss stuff?

I will send you some photos soon. And I am likely to do the extra hairline refinement next year vs this year. Any excuse to get back to South Beach is fine by me.

I will try your advice about using Proscar every other day and see what happens. Hopefully that does the trick. I will keep you in the loop on my progress.

Thanks so much for your help and the great great work on me. Believe it or not, it changed my life. No more self consciousness about the plugs, etc..

John

Hello Dr. Epstein,

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for the procedure last Thursday. I would also like you to extend my gratitude to your staff, the girls made me feel great while I was there. Please let  them know, specially Karen, that I will come by with some Costa Rican coffee for the to enjoy at work.

Seriously, I really appreciate the great job.

I have a couple of simple questions you might be able to help me with,
  • When is it safe to start sleeping normally? Not that I am uncomfortable sitting down to sleep, but I miss lying down.
  • Should I wear the Bandana or any other protection while sleeping?
  • How many days after the procedure do I take off the stitches for the plugs?

Thank you very much, saludos desde costa Rica,

David F.

Hello Roxy,

Jeff, I am thinking of coming in for round 2 to take care of the mid scalp. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier. Hope you are well and look forward to you thoughts.

Terry B.

 Hello Dr. Epstien:

You did a great repairative procedure on me back on Aug 27 (or 28) 2008 in your Miami office. My original procedure was plug grafting, then Dr. X attempted some repair work without much improvement.

It has all worked out great, the browlift is just great and the plug reduction also is great.

John B.

WOW!  You are amazing Doc.  I am extremely grateful that I found you.  I even turned down an EXTREMELY inexpensive procedure from my old doctor ( a promotional thing he is doing before retirement) so I can have my last procedure done through you.  I sent Jon my pictures.  Did you receive them?  I only wish to do some minor "touch ups" that  are STRICTLY MY PREFERENCE that has nothing to do with inadequcies on your part.

I have someone that is interested in moving forward with his struggles with hair loss, and I have told him about my journey through the bad in order to get to the good when it came to hunting a good doctor down.

Thanks

Thanks, for the response Dr. Epstein. I think I am very happy with the procedure overall. The grafts you removed in the hairline were well chosen.

And of course the most important part - the ridge reduction. The right side is absolutely perfect - no ridging and completely level....

Hello There,

I know that anyone contemplating surgery must have second thoughts and wondering whether or not it's going to improve your appearance at all!   I for one, hesitated an awful lot, I did visit Dr. Epstein's office more than once to finalize my decision but what reassured me right from the start is that Dr. Epstein did take the time to answer all of my silly questions; was never pushy and never did flat out utter the usual sentence " Are you ever going to do this or what?....
(See full testimonial)

I did get it.thanks. You're email is ironic timing! I know you love hearing stories like these so last night I was out with my biz partner and I had a beautiful blonde women, stop me while we took this picture and say.GOSH.I LOVE YOUR HAIR! HA.too funny! Didn't care about the blonde.just the comment. Shhhhh :-) You and Dr. E, changed my life. Love you guys!

Jim S.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the email.  Everything has gone as good as I could have hoped, and recovery has been exactly as you guys predicted. I'm just hoping for good graft survival and not too many ingrowing hairs in a few months time!  Is that a major reported problem with the other facial hair transplants?

Thanks again
Ian

Hi Roxy,

Thank you again to everyone for making me feel comfortable and going the extra mile. Dr. E is a class act.

Best,
Rom

With the launch of your new forum I think that you have a good USP for quality based on reputation and professionalism. My hair is still looking the best and I would like another 9000. Implants over the next couple of years for definite plus some eye work perhaps. Any idea who is good for that ha ha :)

yours
Wayne

Jeff:

Great job! I think you are doing a great service to your field by emphasizing appropriate training and expertise in surgical procedures at a time when there is a concerted effort by the government and the insurance industry to dumb down the practice of medicine and surgery. I am appalled at the emerging casual attitude toward plastic surgical and cosmetic procedures. Something needs to change. I have seen progressive improvement in hair density and the definition of my hairline. I will send you some new photos. I've been very busy, but have managed to reduce my hours to 6 hours/d Mon-Thu. After all, we have one life to live!

Regards to all your staff.

Hi Dr Epstein,

Thanks for all your insight on your previous message, its obvious that you have a lot of experience and I appreciate the information. You have developed a well established and reputable clinic & I enjoyed meeting you at my appointment. Everything you said made since and you totally relieved my apprehension. At the day of my surgery, you told me that you were able to get about 80-85% of the units out and it is looking MUCH better [you guys did a great job!]. However, I was hoping to get the other 20% out as soon as possible so that I could return to my life without embarrassment of pluggy hair [looks like about 100-130 follicles left] .

The fact that you mentioned a refund in your message is very appreciated, however, my main concern is not recieving a refund but rather just removing the rest of the bad stuff. I am able to take off any 3 days in the first week of June and would love to finish the job. The fact that you and your staff removed most of the units allows me to shave the remainder and it looks SO MUCH BETTER ALREADY!!! I had so much anxiety when I left but I was able to cover everything just like you said which was a huge relief. The small holes closed, they were red at first, and now they are pink and looking pretty good and are easily concealed. I'm so excited because it looks way more natural and almost normal again!

You guys are truly talented. I am so impressed that when I ran into a patient with obvious hair transplants at the VA in the Dermatology clinic, I told him about your clinic and what I had done. He seemed interested as he already had 2 from the strip method and wasnt happy. I hope he contacts you and you are able to help him out as well [blonde haired gentleman, first name Wayne from St Pete, in his 50's]. If someone asks about hair transplants I know where to send them, thanks again!

James H.

"Dear Roxy, I hope you are doing fine. I wanted to write this email long time back, but the craziness of dealing with airlines over my lost baggage as soon as I came to New York and busy work there after put this on the back burner."
(See Venkat's full testimonial)

"Doc, I was just thinking about you. The swelling is almost completely gone and other than 2 bruises on the underside on my chin things look good. I sooooo do not want this to fall out but realize it's part of the process. I LOVE IT! and so does my wife."
(See Jay's full testimonial)

"Like a lot of guys, I wanted to do something about my hair loss. Before I found this forum I had no idea where to go. I was more concerned with getting a quality procedure more than cost. My first consultation was with Bosley in Boca Raton, and my first instinct was that it was similar to buying a used car (down to the shifty salesman with less than stellar transplants himself). A Bosley they made it seem like it was a real treat for me to actually get seen by a doctor whereas usually that would only happen after I had committed to the surgery there."
(See full testimonial)

Gary's Story
"I have to tell you this............yesterday I got a haircut from a stylist who I had never been to before. Normally I would have such anxiety over someone new cutting my hair as I was always worried that they would cut too much or not do it just right to cover all the bald spots. I never told the stylist that I had a hair transplant 3 months ago. It is growing so natural looking that no one......not even the hair stylist....would ever know." (More)

Neil Travels to Dr. Epstein:
"I chose Dr Epstein on the basis of his plastic surgery expertise and his confidence in being able to effect repairs to give my transplanted hairline a much more natural look and remove much of the previous scarring."

Susan's Success
"I have been feeling gorgeous this week and either it shows in my attitude or it shows in my forehead or BOTH!!! I have heard questions and comments from people that I have never heard before..." (More)

*** UPDATED ***

Stuart and Renewed Self Esteem
"So it is for me. Now I have a beautiful, natural head of hair. I walk into a room. I see a pretty woman. I smile and take a step forward, un-self-consciously. Did I notice how I had hesitated before? What a difference you have made in my life. Thank you." (More)

Duncan and an in-depth review of his experience...
"He and his team were outstanding and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Epstein and his team have wonderful people skills. I just wanted to say that I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Epstein and his great team in Miami, Florida." (More)

Max has some unexpected side effects from his procedure
"The only problem is that, probably, I will have to make a new passport!! When I entered US, the immigration officer checked 5 times my passport while looking at my face. He told me that I had much more hair than in the photo..." (More)

Neil's Story
"I thought you might like to see a few images of the Nelson family - part social, part "medical", showing my hairline at 12 days post op. In actual fact, there is little difference at 12 days to how my hairline looked at 9 days, ie no visible after-effects other than retained new hair." (More)

My hair is fantastic! I'll send some pictures soon.
Don L.

Hi Dr. E

Wanted to express that it was my pleasure. You guys are wonderful and the atmosphere was great - I plan on coming back at some point. Question: How many total hairs did you get? And, what was the breakdown regarding number of 1's, 2's, and 3's?
Very nice to meet you and your staff - all wonderful people. Talk soon. I'll be in town through the 19th.

Chris

Hello Doctor Jeff; Everything is going great Numbness is nearly all gone and tenderness in donor area is totally gone. The donor scar is healing nicely About 40 or 50 percent of the transplanted hairs have shed and I'm just awaiting the new growth period to start.I've had a COMPLETELY POSITIVE experience very little swelling, great looking hairline,no pain or problems a first class job all the way. I also want to thank you for "going heavy" on the size of the donor strip knowing that I had plenty of places to put any extra FU's. Toget 3115 FU's is fantastic THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!!!!!!!!

Sincerely, Gerald

"Dear Dr. Epstein, I just wanted to take this opportunity to tell you how happy I am with the work you did on my transplants. The refining techniques you employ are so exceptional that no one ever realizes I have had the procedures done. Despite the fct I told my previous doctors that what I wanted is a hairline that is so natural that I can comb my hair back, you were the only one able to create this for me."

"After first learning about Dr. Epstein during Channel 10 NBC news, where he was being interviewed on the medical treatments for hair loss, I spent countless hours doing my homework, speaking and meeting with a number of his patients. I truly believe that there is not a single doctor anywhere who performs better work than Dr. Epstein. He is a true professional, who is committed to his patients, and who in turn are uniformly happy with their results."

"At a recent plastic surgery teaching seminar held at South Miami Hospital, where different doctors were presenting their work in hair restoration, I saw what other doctors' ideas are of a good hair transplant. The patients of these different doctors were in attendance as well. Thank you, Dr. Epstein, for helping me to realize how fortunate I am to have had you be my doctor, and for your wonderful job."

Just wanted to shoot you an email, I had a procedure back on 19 Dec 2004, anyways the surgery was a huge success, I was not even sure which hairs were surgical or natural, my hairline looks very strong and natural!!! I could not of hoped for such a great result! Anyway, I just wanted to write a letter of thanks- thank you.

Respectfully,

Douglas L.

Roxy, When I received your most recent email my heart lept with joy! I am so happy, excited, grateful, etc, etc that I cannot begin to put it into words. There is nothing I can say that would even come close to letting you and Dr. Epstein know how thankful I am to you both. Thank you so much for being so nice and caring each time I have spoken with you. Up until the first time I discussed my situation with you, I had NEVER told anyone about how I felt about myself and my "problem." NO ONE. You immediately put me at ease and lifted all embarrassment.

Please tell Dr. Epstein that I am so appreciative of his willingness to perform his art.
You and Dr. Epstein are both angels.

Thank you again.

Bethany D

"I couldn't believe how different the hair transplant process could be. It was like night and day. With my first doctor, chosen from an infomercial, the surgery was painful, and I was hurting for a week afterwards. Dr. Epstein provided me with some sedation, and I tell you, I do not remember having any pain at all. Even the first night after the transplant was virtually painless. Dr. Epstein is the best."

Wow. I have gotten so used to the "after" that I have mentally blocked the "before". Thank you, Dr. Epstein!!! You are an artist. :-)

"I tried desperately not to let it bother me, but inevitably the shining dome became a problem. Since Dr. Epstein's surgery, my self-esteem and youthful vigor has been refreshed. It is very painful to admit, but the male ego seems to be directly connected to the top of your head. Dr. Epstein's miraculous work is a cure-all for the ailing male ego. He can turn back the hands of time and restore confidence as well as folliculus."

It seems like my hair really filled in around the 8-9 month mark. In fact, the girl that cuts my hair was amazed @ the transformation.

Hi Dr. Epstein! My eyebrows are looking good and I am surprised that I still have as many as I do yet, which is fine, as long as they are progressing like they are supposed to be. Thank you so much forthe work you do ,your skill, and your staff! Sincerely, Kris B

Hi Roxy. Every time I look in the mirror, I am amazed at how many little hairs are packed in there. You guys were great. Thanks again, Joaquin

Dr. Epstein & Roxy... Thank You indeed. Since I came back, few of my friends and family are asking me about this procedure and I have nothing but high marks and praise about your office/staff and Dr. Epstein's work.

Hi, I've had two hair transplantation procedures done by Dr. Epstein in the last few years. I'm considering another one. Please give my regards to Dr.Epstein. He really is great at what he does.

Dr Epstein:I hope that all is well w/ you & your staff this Summer. The hair seems to be doing well. In fact, at my niece's graduation in Pittsburgh a couple weeks ago, most people thought I was younger than my younger brother due to his more pronounced hair loss. Also, while visiting a college roommate and his family, he noticed that I had more hair nowvs 3 years ago, when I visited last. Thanks!

1 day after one procedure of 2400 grafts
Hey, Roxy!
I just wanted to check in and say hello.  Some guy this morning remarked to me, "Great hair, Dunc," so I thought I should write and say hello to you and your great office.  I placed a nice endorsement on the Hair Transplant Network about two weeks after my January 14th procedure, and I hope it has been helpful.  I truly had a wonderful experience at your office.  I need to come by the office sometime this summer so we can get some "after" photos so that I can post before and after photos to the network.  The new hair is looking absolutely great and just as Dr. Epstein predicted it would look.  It's really remarkable.  I suspect that I will come in again in another year for another procedure to continue to fill it in.
I just wanted to write and let you know things are going great and to thank you again for such a wonderful experience.  Thanks!
Duncan.

Dr. E - I attached another photo, taken just a few moments ago, October 20, 2006. Outstanding hair, eh? Thanks to you! I'll have to cut it off next month for Reserve Duty. In the meantime, I'm headed down to Key West to attend Fantasy Fest later today. Thanks again! Duncan.

Hi, I've had two hair transplantation procedures done by Dr. Epstein in the last few years. I'm considering another one. Please give my regards to Dr. Epstein. He really is great at what he does.

Hey doctor, thanks for the email, shows how much you really care about your patients. Everything looks great and healing very well. Can't wait to see the full results in the next few months.Again, everything looks great and I would like to thank you foreverything you have done for me.

Yiannis

Hi Dr. Jeff,

Wish you could see how great my hair looks. It's starting to look like it did years ago. I guess it takes time for everything to settle down after a transplant!

Regards, Judy

Dear Dr. Epstein,
I caught my flight and had a wonderful trip home to Ann Arbor - I feel great! Thanks again for being so professional. Your presence is honest and forthright, I enjoyed your service.

sincerely,

Dr. Jeff,

My hair is fantastic, I didn't know I would feel so good about my hair again, like I did when I was in my 20's, I had incredible hair then. I have great hair in the front now. I'll be coming in from Ohio this summer and am thinking about having you fill in the crown.

Don

Hi Dr. Epstein,
Everything is going fine; no problems to report. Can't wait to see the final results! I want to thank you for the personal attention you gave me. It means so much as you obviously seem to be aware of. Your whole staff was excellent, and I will highly recommend you to anyone interested in having this procedure done.

Thanks again for your professionalism and kindness.

Sincerely, Steven G

Hello Dr. Epstein, It has been one week since the sutures have been removed. Everything seems very good. The bleeding after the procedure was very minimal when compared to my past experiences. You are an excellent surgeon.

Anish

Hey Dr. Epstein and Roxi! Just an update for ya! I went to North Carolina for two weeks and noticed some little hairs growing in on the front part of where you did surgery. My barber said that my hair is already looking fuller. He, myself, and my parents are the only ones who know that surgery took place! Also, upon seeing the progressing results, my barber set up an appointment with his best friend and myself to meet and talk with him about your practice. I answered questions he was having regarding the surgery and your practice specifically. He and my barber anticipate that they will be setting up an appointment in the next month. I only had good things to say! J He's worried mainly about pain, and I told him that it's so minimal it's nothing to worry about. I was glad to put in a plug for you.especially considering you put in 1700 for me. J Thanks again! Hope all is well with you and your staff.

-Brock T

Hi Dr. Epstein: I am one of your patients and had a hair procedure done in February of this year. I am doing well and very happy with the results even after 5 months!!

Aizaz K

Hi Dr. Epstein, this is Dana, just wanted to thank you for what looks like is going to be a great result! I have a couple questions though...
first, it says you should start losing your transplanted hair at around 5-7 days when the crusts come off, but it has now been 8 days, all of the crusts

have come off, and I would say I still have 95% of the transplanted hairs.
At what point should I expect these to fall out, or is it possible to get lucky and not have them ever fall out? Are they currently growing right now while they're in my head, or do they have to fall out to start growing? The result really looks great right now... my scalp appears fully healed, there's no redness, no scabs or crusts, it looks completely like the rest of my hair.

Dear Roxy and Dr. Epstein, I would just like to express my sincere appreciation for making me feel so comfortable at my consultation. I was dreading the awkwardness of it all and instead found the experience to be rather enjoyable, It was refreshing to deal with true professionals with compassion and sincerity. I have all the confidence in the world in you and your staff's abilities and look forward to seeing you all soon.

Thanks again. Rob P

It's been three weeks since my procedure. I flew into Miami from Los Angeles becauseDr. Epstein is the absolute best at eyebrow transplants and restoration. You'd think that in Southern California , the mecca ofcosmetic procedures, that there'd be loads of doctors skilled in this area. Wrong! After careful consideration of every doctor in America with eyebrow transplant know-how and several email and phone conversations with Roxy, I found myself relaxing in a hotel in Miami the day before my procedure date.

If you're considering coming to Dr. Epstein's office and are not from the area, let me just tell you that the whole visit is a breeze! I'd recommend stayingat one of the hotels that Roxy recommends. Two of them are very close to the office. Not only is there a complimentary shuttle that takes you to and from the hotel and airport, but it also takes you to Dr. Epstein's office. So if transportation or traveling alone are among your worries, toss'em thought out the window! As an extra plus,Dr. Epstein's patients get a discounted rate at the recommended hotels. How can you beat that?

Everyone at Dr. Epstein's office is incredibly kind and sweet. They did everything imaginable to make me feel comfortable and calm before, during, and after my procedure. Whether it be holding my hand, making sure I was warm, getting me something to drink, shooting the breeze, or making sure I got back to my hotel okay, I felt safe and taken care of every single second. You'd be surprised how quickly a few hours passes when you're in good hands and with good company! And by the way, it didn't hurt!

Dr.Epstein is everything you could ever hope for in a doctor. Not only is he professional and great at his craft, but he's incredibly friendly, funny, and considerate as well! You tell him what you have in mind andhe works diligently to make it a reality. Dr. Epsteindoesn't merely restorehair that's now gone for whatever reason;he alsorestores one's confidence, freedom, and even aspirations. It'squite clear that he genuinelyadores what he does and loves helping people.

Before I knew it, I was back at my hotel, relaxing the night beforeI planned tofly back to California . I got a call from Dr. Epstein at my room; he was justchecking up on me. This was the first check-up of several by Dr. Epstein and Roxy. I thought that was incredibly kind. If you're worried about peopleknowing that you had a procedure, just bring a hat! With my hat on, no one at the airport or on the flight back noticed a thing.

Since my procedure, all of the scabshave fallen off and the redness has subsided. The hairs have fallen out little by little over the past three weeks, so now I'm just waiting for the new ones to grow in. I'll keep you posted on my progress!

If you're thinking about having your procedure done with Dr. Epstein,I would not hesitate to recommend him to you or anyone else. When you meet him and his staff, you'll know that you made the right decision. And after your procedure is done, you'll have no regrets. At least, that's the case with me. I can't wait for the day when I no longer feel that I have anything to hide from the world. There's too much out there to experience. There's life that needs to be lived. So if your hair problems are holding you back, just go for it. You owe it to yourself.

Thanks for everything, Dr. Epstein, Roxy, and staff. I appreciate what you do.

Dr Jeff Epstein- Just back from San Francisco - a beautiful and vibrant city as U have mentioned.

Thank you and your crew for the most wonderful job. Itruly appreciate the care and the extra length that U have taken to achieve the best possible result.. Pleaseconvey my regards to yourhelpful and friendlycrew.

Thomas O.

Dear Dr Epstein: Wanted to update you on four months after my procedure. I
am now experiencing growth in the front and my hairline is reappearing. Very
exciting!

Thanks,
Ryan P

Hi Dr. Epstein
We have arrived back home now, and everything is well.
I'd like to say thank you to you and all your staff for everything, I am very pleased with the results so far. My face is healing up quite well with some slight redness in the area.
I have a couple of questions, am I free to wash the areas as normal now (with soap/shower gel etc)? Also the hairs haven't fallen out yet, will they definitely fall out or might they stay in? And when would you consider a good time to begin normal shaving again?
I'll get in touch if I have any more queries.
Thanks again for your service.

Yours sincerely
George

Hi Roxy,

I just wanted to send over a quick "Thank You" email to you, Dr. Epstein and all of his assistance. They made me very feel comfortable before, during and after the procedure. There are Doctors here in The Bay Area that do transplants but it was worth the trip to Miami to have the procedure done by people who are professional, friendly and seem to sincerely care about the work they are doing.

Best regards,

Josh

p.s.please send out thestitch removal kit when you get a chance.

Dr Jeff, Roxy, hi !

I thought it was about time I sent you some update photos so we've taken some today, just over nine months out.

To be perfectly honest I've been holding back on sending you any updates over the summer because there hasn't been a great deal of change since the
wonderful transformation in my hairline that I showed you in the four-month
images.

What I think you might see in these latest photos is a slightly more dense appearance and an even stronger hairline than at four months. The donor area stands up to a number 3 or 4 buzz cut at the back, with a number 2 on the top and sides.

Dr Jeff, there are so many things I'd like to say to you, but perhaps the best way I can sum up the past nine months is that you've released me from the purgatory of my former appearance and given me my life back. That may sound trite when there are so many people in the world who suffer far greater physical impediments, but very few people can relate to those who inflict disfigurement on themselves through poor cosmetic surgery. Such people almost always become objects of quiet ridicule, as I had for almost 20 years - until now. For me, my hair is just not an issue to me any more, and that's the greatest tribute I can pay you. Only those who've had to live with the results of inferior hair transplant surgery for so long would understand how I feel about what you've done for me.

As always, if you'd like me to act as a reference for any of your UK prospects at any time, or if you'd like more photos or quotes for your website, just ask - nothing would be too much trouble. If my thoughts above touch a chord with any of your reparative patents, please feel free to use my sentiments publically.

I've booked a three-week family holiday in Florida next summer and we'll be in Miami and the Keys around August 17th to the 22nd. I'll contact Roxy nearer the time to see if you'll be available for a quick meet and maybe a photograph with the Nelson family. My wife and boys would love to meet you both.

In the meantime, God bless you and the whole team, and best wishes to you and your family.

Neil

Hi Roxy:

Nice to hear from you. The transplanted hair has taken very well and I am very pleased with the result. I would to thank you all for your kind support during both my visits and to wish you all a happy christmas and a peaceful new year.

Eugene

Hello, Dr. Epstein
This is Justin, I had an eyebrow transplant performed by you back in april. I wanted to tell you that the results are incredible! I did not think such a natural looking transplant was possible. I'm truly amazed. That being said, i wanted to ask about another possible follow up procedure to fill in a couple of gaps that don't appear to be growing back. I probably shouldn't even be this picky about it, except that now i know you have the talent to finish this off perfectly. My guess would be about a total of 30-40 more hairs at the most, i can take and send pictures if you'd like .

I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks again for everything!
-Justin

I'm doing great. 10 days out and I'm in terrific shape.
Please send my regards to Roxy and to the those terrific techs on the Microscope line! A very professional procedure beginning to end. Jim and I had a suture removal party last night. Looking forward to the end result.

Sincerely,
Phil S

Dear Dr. Epstein and Roxy:

Just an update on my hair ! People are noticing that there is something different! Isn't that great?

I can't thank you enough for my new outlook on life. I was getting very upset with what was happening to my hair for many years. I guess people were being nice when they said, I don't think your hair is too bad. It was a scary decision, especially when you get people (like hubby) saying he'd seen men with hair transplants and they looked awful and do you want to look like that? .. and he's losing hair as well. I think that remark prompted me to make the decision to go ahead with it! I did my homework and found many websites on hair loss (I went into NYC to meet with another company and felt as if they were selling me a car!) and finally, when I saw you (Dr. E) on TV, my decision was made. It was money well spent!

Again, I want to thank you all for your caring throughout the whole procedure (before, during and after).

G S

Hi Jeffrey

First of all the donor area is healing well and my hair is fantastic-
people are commenting how young I look all the time- I'm still taking
the Rogaine- in fact at the moment I'm using Members Mark - it has
minoxidil and the usb is 5%-yes?

I am meeting two guys over here this week who want to talk to me about
my treatment.

Regards
W C

hi Roxy

Greg here, home safe and sound in Ireland , not sure what day it is as jetlag is killing us. many thanks to Dr E, you and all the staff for all that you did and your kindness to myself and Daniel. perhaps childminding will be one of the new services that you could now provide!

Greg

How exciting! Believe it or not, Roxy, I just jumped on the computer to send Mary an e-mail to ask her when she thought it was going to air or when I'd be able to see it on their web site! I'll check it out. Gosh, I hope I did okay and I don't look like a real dumb a -- on television!!

You are most welcome, Roxy. Any time. THANK YOU and DR. EPSTEIN and the ENTIRE STAFF for taking care of ME!!! I'm doing well and so very pleased with my brows. The transplants have all fallen out by now but I'm confident that this procedure will have my brows looking exactly how I want them to. I love you guys!!! :)

Talk to you soon.
Anita

Dr. Epstein,

I just want you to thanks for all your attentions with me!!!
As always it was a pleasure for me to see you and all your lovely staff....
all of you are really professionals!!! I also hope that you enjoy the victory of the Heat last tuesday and of course of yesterday.

I didn't have the opportunity to say goodbye to you personally and to talk about propecia. They offer me some samples in your office and I just want to know the directions of taking this new medication. When do I start? How many pills a day, etc. Do you think that I would be good idea to take propecia and keep using rogaine?

Thanks again for everything, hope to hear from you soon, Regards

Eduardo

Dr. Epstein,
I feel great and it went very smoothly for me this past week. All the scabs are out and no one really noticed. I feel you did a tremendous job and I am happy that I had it done. Thankyou for everything and definitely thank your staff. They were wonderful and are very nice people. Is there any way you can tell me how many graphs were put in?

Thank you,
John

Hi Roxy,

It has been 1year since Dr. Epstein completed my 2nd hair transplant. I must tell you how happy I am with the results. I can't believe how full and natural myhair looks. In fact, my dermatologist commented on how "beautiful" a job Dr. Epstein did and how nice my hairline looks. I am very very pleased and wanted to convey this to Dr. Epstein. I am including a picture so everyone at your office can see the results of their fine work.

I am so pleased with the results that I have been considering a 3rd and final (this time I really mean it) procedure. I would consider this if Dr. Epstein feels he could resonably lower my hairline by about 1 cm. If that were possible it would be perfect. However, if this is not feasible, I still want you all to know how satisfied I am with Dr. Epstein's work. After having researched many hair transplant surgeons and seeing their results first hand, I believe that Dr. Epstein and his staff do the very finest work.

Sincerely,

Joe Dryja

Hi Dr. Jeff!

A grateful Laurie S here... you couldn't have a happier client than I. My eyes are so transformed, so natural... I am deeply grateful for your talent, and that you were the one to perform my surgery. Every time I see a tabloid cover with "CELEBRITY PLASTIC SURGERY GONE WRONG!!!" headlines, I am reminded that not all surgeons have your gift.

It took a while for me to settle in to my new look, and I understand now from experience that it takes a bit for the surgery itself to take on its final form. When I look at my before photos I am stunned at the difference. And now, years later, I frequently look at my eyes and think how lucky I am.

This is a long, long overdue thank you. If you would like to use my testimonial please feel free to do so... This is a quick note, so I can write an even better one. You are a master. Likewise, if it would be of any benefit to do a years-after follow-up photo, I'm at your disposal.

Hugs,

Laurie

P.S. Likewise, Chik's hair transplant was a great success! The man who cuts his hair tried to dissuade him from having a transplant because of what he had seen from other procedures. He is very impressed with what you did for Chik.

Dear Dr. E.,

I'm doing great. Coming to see you twice weretwo of the best decisions I have made.

I sent some photos 14 Jan 06 but didn't get a reply, so I assumed they were overlooked. Here's one of them.

Jim

Hi Remy :

I will have no problem to meet and we talk about all your concerns.

I'm very happy withthe results...(I will do it again and again...)

Everybody in the office of Dr. Epstein are really nice, from Jeffrey all the way to every single person who works there. They make you feel really welcome 'specially Roxy', she is fantastic...

Hereis my mobile phone 917. . ; call me and we can plan when and where we can get together.

Very Happy to help you...

HUGO

Hi Dr. Epstein

You did an awesome job on my brows. It's exactly what I wanted! I hope the hairs grow in just like I see.
I'm really paranoid about losing any of the grafts, so I'm extra cautious. They're pretty much secure, right, as long as you don't touch them.

Thanks for all of your time
Very happy about having done this

PS Everyone in your office was very sweet and professional.
PJ

Dr. E

Great to hear from you! That's a Fantastic Geraldo story. You look great and sound very personable and knowledgeable. An absolutely great story. I sent the clip to others.

Do you provide barbers/hair salons with business cards? Whenever I go to the hair salon, I like to freak them out after they've been cutting on my hair for awhile and tell them, "You know, I used to be bald." They are always stunned and can't believe it. The person cutting my hair last time even tried to find a scar in the back, but couldn't find it! I always give them information regarding my doctor, but I wondered whether business cards with directions to your webpage that they could keep in their top drawer would be useful. Maybe not, but thought I would throw it out there. By the way, you sent me a guy who asked me for a reference, and of course I told him that you were the best and that he absolutely should have the procedure. I also invited him to call me on the phone, but he didn't. I hope he became a client. My hair is looking absolutely fantastic. In fact, I tried highlighting it the other day just for fun. Can you imagine?

Highlighting? What a trip, eh? In fact, just now, one of my co-workers accused our secretary of allowing me to become a "long-haired hippy freak." What a compliment to you for sure! I think the Propecia also is working. Sometimes when I'm walking from bar to bar here in Winter Park, I think how lucky I was to have found you. I want to be sure that you know that your patients think of you from time to time and wish good things for you because your artistry has absolutely changed our lives and self-image.

Hope you are well!

D

Hello dear Doctor

I am sorry I was not able to call on Monday, I thank you for taking your time to correspond with your patients , it makes a big difference having the doctorthat cares ,thank you!!!.

It is such a shame that a" so called surgeon "did such a horrible jobtrying to restore my hairlineand unfortunately there are so manylike him around not qualified to perform such a delicate procedure causing more damagethan anything else, I am sure you must have seen pretty scary things!anyway , I know this time I will be in great hands , I am so, so glad I have found your clinic.

I really am looking forward to meeting you and your staff if I will have any questions I will give you a call. THANK YOU!

I HAVE TO SAY THAT AFTER SEEING DR. N, DR. M, AND OTHERS I FEEL MOST COMFORTABLE WITH YOU.

AL

Hi Roxy

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Dr Epsteins clinic for their kindness and support during my recent visit.

I am very pleased with the results so far and I can't wait for the day when I can get back to normal andnot have to worry about how my eyebrows look.

I was very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism with which theclinic is run and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the experience to others.

Many thanks again to you all and best wishes

V H

Dr. Epstein,

that might be kind of hard since I don't have a camera--I will try to see if I can find a friend who does--

in the meantime, I am well and healthy--your work came out wonderfully--since I loved Florida so much, when I come back there I'll visit you. Say hi

to Roxie for me--happy holidays

Paul

I am very excited to see how all of this works out.

As you can imagine it is a bit nerve racking going through this process, but I am glad I did it. Thanks very much for your help. I really like the way you placed the hairs in the front of my head -- I can tell from the scabs that these are more densely placed, and this is obviously why I went with you because I trust your judgment on how to get the best results here both technically and aesthetically.

I'll email you with any other questions and let you know how things proceed.

Hi, Dr Jeff, Thanks for the email. Everything is fine and seems to be healing very well. I went back to England to go to that park I was telling you about but the weather was so bad we decided to get last minute flights to Egypt instead. Had a great time and did not over expose to the sun. Just wanted to take this chance to tell you how pleased I am with the treatments and service you provided. I think the beard is going to look really good. I am pleased with the eyebrows although I have a feeling that there may be a few spots that I would like touching up a bit. I suppose it hard to tell until its fully regrown. The work that was done on the nose is also very impressive and I am very happy with the result.

I am going to wait for three months and see how all the hair regrows.

Overall I am very happy with the service you have provided. Your staff are all very nice people and I felt comfortable and relaxed throughout my stay.

I am looking forward to seeing how it all regrows!!

Jeff,

Procedure was easy for me this time. Your new assistant is a keeper, gentle, efficient andpleasant. I took a digital photo of my head a few minutes ago, zoomed in and was very impressed with the coverage. I am excited to see what my hair will look like in 9 months. Hopefully I will meet my goal in looking no older than I actually am ;-)))

Take Care,

Scott

Hello Dr. Epstein,

I hope you had a wonderful holiday! Thanks so much for your kindness & compassion during my experience at your office. Your staff is also terrific!

I am back in Washington, DC (healing) & wanted to follow up with you re: my procedure. Is it possible to forward you my general thoughts & then schedule a time to talk via phone? I am glad to work around your schedule.

Thanks again for your assistance.

Mike O

Jeff:

Greetings from Long Island. My hair is doing great and I am enjoying it very much. You did a great job.

I am taking proscar about 1mg/day in place of propecia. 2 questions:
1.Could the proscar be causing the low testosterone?
2. If I supplement the testosterone, does that have the potential to accelerate hair loss and if so, do you have any suggestions? Thanks for your time.

I was in an infomercial recently. Here is the link if you want to see how good my hair looks. http://youtube.com/results?search_query=h

Dr Epstein:

My first note to you was one month after the procedure, on 30 October. I wanted to do this second note after exactly 2 more months had passed; sorry that I missed this a bit with the holidays. Here are the results by region:

I need to make an overall observation. I look down at the hairs on my chest, and -- if I didn't know it intellectually -- I wouldn't believe that these hairs were anything but natural. The pattern is perfect; they appear to grow from fotally normal skin. I appear to have a totally natural -- and wonderful -- hairy chest! It's just so Great!

(I've now got more hair down there than my dad and am finally giving my brother a run for his money. My brother's hair is about the same density as mine but thicker and grows upward in the area just below the neck, making it more visible there. His hair appears to be about 1-2" in length. I've let my hair grow a bit longer in that region and groom it upward to achieve a similar result. In fact, with this technique I've finally gotten a better "open-shirt" hairy chest than my brother! Let's hear it for Sibling Rivalry!)

There are no words to thank you enough, Dr. Epstein.

And when the new growth comes in, it can only get better!

Mike G (a greatful & enthusiastic fan)

My procedure with Dr E was a very positive experience all round. The surgical team and office staff are all very professional and friendly - you'll be given a warm welcome and treated very well on the day. The procedure itself was quite a long one - I had 2000 grafts and a scar repair to correct the results of previous UK surgery many year ago - so I was in the chair for over 5 hours. However I didn't suffer any great discomfort during that time, and Dr E and the team were very supportive.

Unlike my surgery in the UK I didn't suffer from any noticeable post op swelling, nor any shock loss in the recipient area. I did suffer some residual shock loss in the scar repair area, but this recovered within four months and was easily disguised by a slightly longer hair style at the back during that period.

I was very pleased with the results, both in the short and longer term.

Short term I was celebrating Christmas in public just a week after the operation, with no noticeable effects from the surgery. Longer term I started seeing the benefits of the new hair growth within 4 months, and after around 17 weeks I was able to have my hair cut to a number 2 at the front and 4/5 at the back, and look perfectly normal.

You've made a very sound choice with your surgeon, Chris, and I have every confidence you'll have a good experience and see a very pleasing outcome.

The best advice I can give you is to go with a positive outlook and make sure you follow all the instructions for care of your transplant pre and post op.

There are some good threads concerning Dr Jeff, which include some pre and post op photos of my case, on the Hair Restoration Discussion Forum. Plus, you might still be able to read "Neil's Story" which I agreed to publish on Dr Jeff's website Foundhair.com, as a UK testimonial to his work.

Good luck, and if I can be of any further help before or after your operation, please don't hesitate to come back to me.

Best regards,

Neil

Jeff,

It has been 3+ months now...must confess that I was skeptical about hair growing in my eyebrows where I had not seen it for years...but you prove me wrong...This is looking good...My left brow is pacing ahead of the right side. Can't wait to see the final product!....After all, patience pays...

Iris

Doctor J , It's been a couple of years , and I can't tell you how happy I am with the procedure . No one , and I do mean NO ONE , can tell . Even those who I DO tell don't believe me . Thanks for a wonderful out come and a terrific experience . You and your people are top notch ! Thanks Again , Uncle Jimi

Hi Dr. Epstein,

Thanks for checking in. I'm doing very well. I recovered much faster this time. I've had no numbness on the top of my head at all. The scabs are all gone and the incision only rarely gets a little sore. And in fact, when I went back to work the Friday after the surgery, I was sent down to Florida for the tornadoes and was able to work some marathon days, on camera, with no problem. You're amazing. Thanks again for everything - the surgery, the privacy you've afforded me and your kindess.

J

Hello Dr Epstein,

Everything is going fine! I just had the stitches removed yesterday. I'll keep in touch and will contact you if I have any questions. By the way, you and your staff are wonderful!

Thanks,
Mary Ellen

Thank you for writing. I am healing well and am very pleased with the new brows. You did a fantastic job.

Sincerely,
Karen

Good Morning Dr. Epstein. Sutures come out today, and since my last email, the healing process went just as planned. If it grows in as planned, I'll definitely be one of those I wish I would have done it sooner guys. I want to thank you again...I feel great. You truly are changing lives.

Jim S

Dr. Epstein,

Thanks for taking such good care of Ben last week. He and his wife sent me a post-operative photo and the early results are extremely impressive.

I am looking forward to seeing his final result in several months.

Yours truly,

Rob Adelson, MD

Dear Dr. Epstein and Roxy,

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for making me feel so comfortable the day of my procedure. I have to tell you I am very surprised of how simple was the procedure it didn't hurt at all. I found the experience enjoyable, everyone at the office is incredibly nice they did everything to make me feel comfortable and calm during the procedure. I was surprised how quickly a few hours passes when you're with good company.

Thanks for everything. I hope you recognize me next time I'm in Miami. Thanks again for being so professional. I'll send you some pictures soon.

Best regards,

Angel

Dear Dr Epstein,

Once again, I want you to know that it was very nice and lucky for me to meet a Doctor like you. You were careful and understanding my needs.

I hope that my hair look will definitely change and will become so natural that nobody will stare at me any longer because it is very hurtful.

Thank you for your attention.
Hope to see you soon with a natural hairy head.

Sincerely,
p.s: I will send you pictures of the evolution monthly for your records

Hello Roxy:

Again it was so nice to finally meet you on Friday, everyone in the office, including yourself and Jeffreyare wonderful people.

I actually spoke with Jeffrey this evening, I thanked him for everything and while I'm still really swollen etc, I'm happy with my results so far, just hoping when they fall out they will come back in as good.

Again, Roxy, thank you so much to all of you, You guys are a great team and in the past I had not seen such a professionalism manner with the way that everything was handled and done, much credit to you all. You guys definately put the rest to shame. It's a great practiceJeffrey runs but then I do understand he is the best, I'm only regretting now that I didn't go to him from day one but what's done is done and can't be changed, I'm going to be very positive about my future.

Have a wonderful day Roxy.

Nora

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I called the office and one of the staff advised me on using the aloe, which I happened to have on hand. It did the trick. Everything is going well. My co-workers didn't know the difference, and even my physician couldn't tell I'd had implants until I told him.

Thanks so much again!
-Allen

We just returned home safely. Addison is doing great no pain no swelling.

I just wanted to take a moment to my extreme graditude for everything you have done for us.With Addison's history of doctors and thereis avery long list I havenever meta Doctor or their staff as down to earthandas caring asyours. You never made me feel likeI was calling too much or that you was better than me. Just likewe was part of the family. My daughter lights up and looks forward to seeing you.

As a parent you spend your whole life doing everything in your power to protect your children.I believe strongly that youhave protected my daughterin waysI never could like teasing, bullies, low self esteem, verbal abuse, I could go on.It's like I heard once" How do explain to a 16 year old girl that hair isn't important." It hards I had a hard time walking around when Ishaved my head like hers.

I will never be able toexpresshow I am feeling.Thank youjust isn't enough. You truely are a blesssing.

WithMuch Love,
Looking forward to seeing you next year

Hey Dr. E:

This is Chris H, patient from March 12. Just over 3 months and starting to see some growth! I have to say, this part is fun as it seems like a little more and more each day. Most of the new hairs are dark and you can for sure tell which ones were grafts that never fell out. Just amazing to see stuff starting to happen even at this early stage!

Hope you and the gang are well in South Florida. Oklahoma is wet as heck but no complaints since it will be 105 in a month. Take care and I'll let you know when I have enough growth that you might want to see a pic of.

Sincerely,

Chris

Hi Dr. Epstein,

I just wanted to let you know I had my stitches out today. My stylist has removed a lot of stitches from his clients over the years that have had hair transplants. He told me he had never seen a cleaner suture line with no evidence of a scar from the donor area than mine and never seen a more beautiful artistic hairline than mine. He thinks it is going to turn out fantastic. Thanks.

Larry B

i have been taking many photos of my progress (which i will share), and i am very impressed with the way hair has been laid out to make them look natural. of course i will have to wait for them to heal completely to give you a sticker star...lol...but i wanted to share my initial feelings now. thank you again.

Hello Roxy,

Dewaine here. I'm sending you this email from my Santa website address: santa@chattanoogasanta.com.
I made it home safely. I drove straight through, eating in the car and only stopped twice for gasoline. It took me 12-1/2 hours - much better than the 14 I had planned.
Please send me a list of all the people in your office who worked with me on my procedure (and those who didn't too). If its not too much of a problem, tell me what they did (washed my hair, microscope, billing, whatever). As I mentioned, I want to send everybody something from Santa. I know its not required, but too often people never get recognized for the hard work they do. It won't be expensive, but hopefully the gesture is worth more than the gift.
Once again, thank you for all your help. Dr. Epstein couldn't have chosen a better office manager anywhere in the world. You're the greatest. And,please pass along another special thanks to Dr. Epstein. Tell him that my hopes are that maybe one day I'll be as good of a Santa to others as he has been to me. He is genuinely an honorable man in his field and as a person.

Sincerely,
Dewaine

Roxy,

How are you? Just a quick note. Thanks for the newsletter, and just wanted to say everything is going great with my hair. Best wishes to all of you and your staff. Please tell Dr. E I said "Hi".

David

Thanks for the reply Doc...

Have to say, I am extremely happy with the work you performed. I think the hairline came in very nicely, exceeded my expectations. I no longer think people can tell I had work, unlike before. The transplants were so poorly done, and obvious; trying to hide them was a major concern. No more. Of course, like everything else, you eventually want more. Still satisfied, of course, but I'd like to take it a step further.

I'm in Iraq right now. Will be back in the States early Sept. I'll schedule an appointment then.

Sincerely
Greg

Hey Dr. Epstein,

I'm doing very well, thank you. So much better than my first procedure. You're the man! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Will definitely keep in touch. So glad I met with you.

Bailey

I am back in New York and am feeling great so far... I love the way my eyebrows look and I believe this will change my life in ways that you might never understand. I just want you to know how grateful I am, and that i think you are a wonderful doctor and a fantastic artist. I am happy to attest this to anyone who is considering a procedure. Thank you is an understatement. My eyebrows look better than I ever hoped for. I was unsure what to expect and was a little scared but everything about this experience exceeded all I had ever hoped for.

My sincerest gratitude,

Kate

Dr. Epstein:

Yes, I went to his office in San Francisco, and one of the MDs on staff removed the stitches. Everyone there gave me the Royal treatment. I didn't meet Dr. Mass, but you can tell him that I was very impressed with his staff. So much so, that I trusted them to do a botox treatment on me and I'm very satisfied.
I'm trying to be patient about the hair growth process. I know it's supposed to take around two and a half months beforehair starts growing, but I keephoping that I'll be an exception and it will come in a lot faster. I can dream can't I. It seems like there's some growth in the crown area, but I assume it's due to the minoxidil.
I will be posting my comments on my very positive procedural experienceYour staff was outstanding. Professional but not stuffy. They made me feel very comfortable and even laughed at my jokes. Youwere everything a patient could ask for in a doctor: exceptionally competent, concerned, approachable, intelligent, and a great sense of humor. Who could ask for more in a physician. I will highly recommend you to all my friends and relatives and others as well. Hasta luego, Doctor. Keep up the good work.

Richard
De San Jose

PS -- Please thank your staff for me and let them know I was very impressed with their technicaland interpersonal communication skills. All of them were great: from the reception people to those in the lab, to everyone in between. Cute too.

Hi, Roxy:

Just checking in 6 days post op. The site looks good. No swelling or signs of infection. I washed the area for the first time this morning with baby shampoo and it cleaned up well. I've been down this road before and I know not to have any expectations due to significant scarring, but I was impressed with Dr. Epstein and his staff and their optimism for a good outcome was appreciated. Thank you for all of your help.

Dave

Dr. Epstein:

I want to thank you so much for the procedure, I'm so happy right now with a lot of expectations. You are a very profesional doctor and your staff is really good.
I'm sending you a photo after the procedure. can you send me the photo you take before?

Muchas gracias!

Hi Dr Epstein / Roxy,

Ciaran here from Dublin in Ireland. If you remember I was in with you for a procedure on (I think) November 28th last year. Just to let you know it has turned out very well and I'm more than happy with the results. Apologies for not creating a profile/blog of my results but I have been swamped in work and also with attending college part time and a dozen and one other things.
Hope you're all well and continued success in your business.

Cheers,
Ciarn.

Dr. Epstein,

Thank you for contacting me. I appreciate it. I should have written earlier, but I have been adjusting to the post-procedure effects as well as trying to get my '08-'09 schedule complete for the registrar .

Oh, by the way,I cancertainly provide any support related to procedure matters that you may need. So, you are welcome to give female patients my name and number. I will be very happy to chat one on one with any female patient you want to send my way.

Hope all is well, and please give my warmest thanks to every member of the most wonderful team who tended to me. I wish I knew each person's name, but what I do know is that it was soothing to be in the company of so many warm and caring women. And a warm thanks to you, of course.

-Dali

Hi Jeffrey,

All good so far. Fun and games with delays on flights etc and finally had our luggage delivered late last night!

All your staff were great and forgive me, I cannot remember names but especially liked the honduran girl who greated us and helped as well as the petite girl who saw us out. They were very nice with good energies etc and please tell them to drop me a line if they so wish or just find me on facebooketc.

I did feel pretty exhausted afterwards although felt better after a few painkillers. I will keep you informed and if there is any other advice you can give then it will be gratefully recieved.

Regards

Andi W

Hi Jeff!

Thank you for a great experience last week! Everything was really smooth and you really know what you are doing! My wife commented that, just looking at the newly grafted hairs, you would never know that they had put there surgically. Absolutely amazing! You are not just gifted surgically, you also have an artist's eye.

This may be of interest to you. Here it is day nine, the scabs are gone but most of the hair is staying. In fact it appears to be growing. I thought that it would all fall out. Is this unusual?

I will send pics once the hairs grow out.

Oh yes, the invitation to come to a REAL college football game is still open to you. Auburn is a fantastic place to experience college football.

David

Dr. Epstein,

I'm doing very well. Recently, I've e-mailed both you and Roxy with recent pictures. So far, things are coming in very well, but there's still more to grow in and take place. I look forward to seeing how things arrive at the 7-8 month mark. I couldn't be happier, and I appreciate you and your staff's hard work. Please feel free to ask me anything specific if you desire. Thanks!

Regards,
John

Hi Roxy, I hope you are well. I was wondering if you took any pictures of me after the procedure? Someone on my web blog has asked me and I can't remember if we did. If so, would you send them to me so I can update blog.

As for the procedure I am starting to see growth. I really don't think anyone ever noticed. I have a very critical group of friends that I am sure they would have made a comment if they knew.

If I can help you by speaking with any clients please don't hesitate to have them contact me. Be sure to tell Dr. E. That I couldn't be happier, He really is the best in the business. I wish you a great holiday season.

hi dr epstein

i would like to take this oportunity to thank u and ur staff for a fantastic service, when i came back to have my stitches removed i didnt get the chance to thankyou personally.

I would just like to know. now that the majority of my hairs have fallen out if there is anything that i can do to speed up the regrowth process, increase the success rate of each hair regrowing and also anything to make the hairs thicker.

once again big thanks to u and ur staff, i look forward to ur reply.

david

Jeff

Ididn't get back to Burlington until the night-time the next day. I should have taken you up on your generous offer to stay in Miami.

I'm pleased thatthe swelling is now gone. I knew you were the best going into the procedure and I amvery pleased with your work. Your personable nature and great staff really put me at ease. I'll get onto to internet soon to talk about my experience. This weekend I'll toast you from the daily planet.

Take Care,
Mark

Hi Jeffrey,

I had to run along after the sutures were removed but the nurse assured me that everything was ok. So let's give it a couple of months to heal and then we'll take another look. Happy New Year to you and the staff...
you all did a wonderful job and I felt myself in good hands throughout the entire process.

Richard

Chris
Hey Dr. E. Hope things are going well with you. As for me, I am very happy with the growth I have received from this procedure! I am attaching pics here for you to review. As for the growth, I have truly taken a step back about 10 years in terms of the look of my hairline. Many comments and I really feel good about it. I am estatic! I new with a little over 200 grafts I would not have thick bushy hair. But it is certainly as thick as it was 10 years ago. So I am very happy with that part.

Here are some pics of the growth for you to compare with my prior pics.

Thanks!

Hi Doc
Things are going well. I am took all of my antibiotics, and things appear to be going well. I'm kind of shocked. The hair hasn't fallen out that was transplanted. It seems like some of the hairs are growing. Is that normal? I appreciate everything. It looks fantastic!

Thanks so much for everything. I have even gotten complements on the beard!

Hola Roxy!
