Megasession Follicular Unit Graft Procedure

The megasession is the most modern way to achieving the growth of a full head of hair, in the shortest period of time. In a megasession, up to 4,500 follicular-unit micrografts can be transplanted in a single procedure lasting five to seven hours. These follicular units, containing one to three, occasionally four hairs a piece (the natural grouping of hairs), are transplanted in a natural pattern throughout the scalp, providing extensive coverage and significant density if desired. As with other hair transplant procedures, most regular activities can be resumed the next day, and growth of the hairs occurs in as soon as two months. Some patients will have a second procedure performed to provide further hair density.
