I am a 47 year old male and I would like to share my wonderful follicular unit transplantation experience with Dr. Jeffrey Epstein and his great team performed on January 14, 2004. Dr. Epstein practices in Miami, Florida. The procedure was essentially pain free. He and his team were outstanding and made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Epstein and his team have wonderful people skills. For example, he introduces himself as “Jeffrey Epstein,” rather than “Dr. Epstein,” so that you feel comfortable relating to him on a personal level. During the procedure, we listened to everything from Pink Floyd to James Taylor, and talked about everything from movies to politics. Frankly, I had a blast that afternoon. Later than night, Dr. Epstein called me to see how I was doing. Dr. Epstein’s a great guy and his team of professionals made me feel like they really cared.

I am a Class 6 on the Norwood hair-loss chart. I first explored HT procedures in Washington, D.C. in 1993. In 1993, I thought the “art” of hair transplantation still looked detectable, so I delayed the procedure. I again reviewed the procedure in Denver in 1999, but the accountability of the particular medical clinic with its traveling doctor in Houston, Texas, made me nervous, so I continued to put off the procedure.

I arrived in Orlando in February 2003 and began to perform Internet research. The Hair Transplant Network was an excellent source. I found Dr. Epstein’s webpage at Foundhair.com. His webpage contains articles and a TV news story regarding his practice. As a result of his webpage and the reports on the Hair Transplant Network, I sent Dr. Epstein a few recent photographs by email and he responded to me by email. I then followed up with the detailed questions suggested by the Hair Transplant Network, which I also sent via email and which he also answered via email. A wonderful woman in his office by the name of staff called me and we chatted. I felt absolutely no sales pressure whatsoever. She sent me the names of several previous patients and I called two of them. One was actually returning for his second procedure, which I considered and excellent endorsement. Both previous patients had outstanding experiences and results and could not say enough kind things about Dr. Epstein.

I will report my results to the Hair Transplant Network as they progress over the next several months. Until such time, I just wanted to say that I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Epstein and his great team in Miami, Florida.
